"There is strong evidence that you are involved in the smuggling of goods! All of your accounts are now frozen, so how are you going to repay our bank loans?"
Vita stared intently at Lan, and her tone was extremely cold.
"Two billion Someric Dollars is a huge amount of funds for banks, and according to the contracts we signed, the Bank reserves the right to request to seize your company and all assets on your behalf if we find ourselves in such circumstances."
"Of course, since the amount in your personal account has been seized, we have no choice but to auction all of your assets to prevent any loss on our part."
"Mr Laine feels sorry for you and is willing to repay your loan, so it is only natural that we transfer your assets to Mr. Laine."
"If you don't want to, you're welcome to take this to court with Mr. Laine when you're released."
Vita then smiled and continued, "That's, of course, if you're released."
lan fused her molars and glared at Vita, shouting at the man. "You're nothing more than a dog wagging its tail when you beg me to take a loan! You would even lick my shoes if I asked for it but now this is how you talk to me?!"
Vita's expression became furious, and her voice turned icy cold. "I'm just doing business. You don't have to listen to me if you don't want to, Mr. Hull. What you think doesn't matter much anymore."
"Ha ha ha!"
lan looked at the sky and sneered inwardly. He turned around to look at Jasper. "What a well thought out plan there, so great that you managed to destroy me and the entire Hull family while swallowing all my assets as well. So this is your plan?!"
"That's great, Jasper Laine!"
Jasper replied clearly, "To be honest, I didn't really attack you. I don't even want the slightest bit of money that the Hull family has. If I didn't have the habit of making a profit back with everything I did, I wouldn't even waste my time on something as worthless as you."
"In addition, I saved you here. You'll face more than your auctioned assets if I don't repay your loan. The bank will sue you for loan fraud, now worsening given the enormous value of two billion. Coupled with you smuggling goods, you will be punished for two crimes and that will surely guarantee you a life sentence in prison."
"You should be thanking me here."
Lan's expression turned crazy hearing Jasper's words, and she began to wrath furiously as she shouted towards Jasper. "Just wait, Jasper! Do you think it'll be safe now that you've gotten rid of me?"
"And my money, it's Gale Hurlbutt's money! Do you dare to take the money too? He's gonna kill you!"
Jasper laughed out loud. "You're talking about Somer's three billion dollars, right? I'm sorry, but I don't think you understand what's going on here. It wasn't me who confiscated your bank account. Regardless of who gave you those three billion, the court will still consider it money you earned from smuggling goods."
"Considering how troubled Old Man Hurlbutt is, I'm sure he won't take into account a little boy like me."
"Most importantly, what if he decides to take it into account?"
"Do you think he wants to fight with the Law family for a cursed piece?"
Jasper's words froze lan's crazy expression.
"Family Law. I know it's the Law family! I know that, that's why they attacked my ship so quickly! You conspired with them a long time ago. You've decided that you'll split my assets!"
Jasper smiled slightly and ignored lan.
lan had lost to him from the start, and he had never been a concern for Jasper.
Instead, Jasper walked towards Ben.
Ben's condition is still unstable. He continued to thrash with great difficulty, out of control. He barked like a mad dog.
Seeing Jasper approaching him, Ben thrashed even louder.
If Lan's moaning was because she had been blinded by anger and lost all reason, then Ben's moaning could only be described as a mole of a suicidal lunatic.
The two burly men beside him seemed to have a hard time holding him back.
Julian also walked over and stood beside Jasper, ready to protect Jasper while whispering, "Be careful, Jasper."
