Victory in Life
Chapter 316

In the hotel room, Jasper and Henry clink their wine glasses.

"Talking logically, with the news of being approved to host the Olympics still fresh, it will still be a while before plans for the construction of the Olympic Village and other stadiums begin. What else did your father ask of you?"

Henry nodded. "Nothing we know for sure, but we have to get into it somehow. Dad said that since this is a very big project, it would be better if I came and set my stance earlier than late."

"And so that those of us who wish to join in it may submit the planning report to the person in charge of it all."

"The people in charge want to adopt as many ideas as possible because this is a big stadium we are building. This is not a design that one or two companies can make from the top of their heads. Every stadium has to be the best of the best."

"Each party is given the opportunity to submit reports, propose designs, locations, even names. All of this can be demonstrated through a report. Even though the person in charge didn't say it, everyone knew that it would bring great benefits if your proposal was elected."

Jasper's eyes sparkled. "Do you have a proposal?"

Henry answered honestly, "Something this big has to be designed by a team of professionals, but there are only so many sophisticated designers in the country. There were too many people fighting for them and although Law's family was close to some of them, nothing had been promised."

Jasper nodded in understanding and added, "Tell me when you started. I might have some ideas that could help."

The overall plan for the Beehive Stadium, Aquatic Center, and Olympic Village was all on his mind.

After a round of realistic suggestions, Jasper had the most suitable design proposal and the greatest understanding.

All he had to do was submit a proposal with content from his previous life and it would definitely be chosen.

"You know about designing too?" Henry looked suspicious.

Jasper smile. "It's not about designing, no, but I have an idea."

Henry shrugged his shoulders. He was about to speak when his phone suddenly rang.

"What do you want? It's midnight here! You better have a good reason to call me this late or I'll kill you!" Henry roared to the phone angrily.

The other party must have said something, as Henry's brows curved slightly and his expression turned interested.

A moment later, Henry's tone softened as he chuckled. "I don't mind meeting you in person, of course not. But I have to

tell you that all I'll do if I come, is watch. I still have to ask if the person himself will or not."

Henry then handed the phone to Jasper and spoke.

"Combe"

Taking the phone, Jasper greeted, "Hello, this is Jasper Laine."

The heavy voice of a middle-aged man sounded from the loudspeakers. Without the slightest bit of anger or arrogance, the man sounded very polite.

"Hello, Mr. Laine. This is Hendrik Combe, Hector and Jacob's father."

Jasper raised his eyebrows slightly and replied in a weak tone, "Is there anything I can help you with, Mr Combe?"

Hendrik replied, "I'm sure there's been a misunderstanding between you and my sons, Mr. Laine. They've told me the basic details of what happened when they returned home tonight."

"I recently realized how arrogant and bossy my sons were acting outside and I couldn't be more sorry for their actions. I hope you can accept my apology, Mr. Laine, and forgive my sons for their ignorance."

Jasper smiled slightly and replied, "Hector and Jacob are grown, Mr. Combe. It is true that they are responsible for their own actions. You shouldn't trouble yourself to clean up their mess."
