Chapter 8 Surprise From Hendri

Hendri now feels unsettled, after what he said to Dinda about Ken's behavior on the ship, not without reason Hendri feels unsettled, he said,  because Hendri already considers Dinda like his own biological sister.

“Badness Ken, why could he be that hard on Dinda, what less Dinda in her eyes.” Hendri told himself.

“I must know, who is Ken's Japanese lover on the ship, so until his heart betrayed Dinda.” He continued while trying to contact Gandhi.

“Halo Hen, what do you need to contact me?“ Ask Gandhi to Hendri.

“Gandhi, will you help me, I honestly do not want to tell you this, but I have to do it this time, because you are my only hope.” Hendri to Gandhi.

“What can I do for you Hen, what is the problem, so you asked me to help you.” Gandhi asked curiously.

“Please promise me, so that you can really keep this story a secret Gandhi, because it concerns someone's relationship, and you also know who I mean.” Hendri convinced Gandhi.

“Trust me Hen, you must have known me, well say Hen?“ gandhi said to Hendri

Hendri began to tell the story of Ken's true relationship with Dinda, and how Ken's betrayal of Dinda for Sayaka, Gandhi who heard the story from Hendri began to get carried away,  Gandhi also began to blame Ken who was so willing to betray Dinda who was so great love for Ken.

“Okay buddy, I'll help you for Dinda's feelings. I also feel disbelief after knowing the real story from you, I think Ken is a good man.  Anyway, Sayaka is a woman

fine here, I also do not want if in the end, Sayaka must share a bad name due to things she never knew.”Gandhi with a tone of emotion.

“Do you know Gandhi, who should I contact, so that I can speak directly with Sayaka?“ ask Hendri.

“I don't know yet who I can recommend to you, but I will definitely find out, wait for news from me.” Gandhi said to Hendri.

Gandhi meets Naomi, and asks Naomi about Naomi's countrymen who are close to Sayaka.

Naomi was curious about Gandhi's question, Naomi was prejudiced that Gandhi had feelings for Sayaka, so she asked anyone from Japan who was close to Sayaka.

“Do you have feelings for Sayaka?  if that is the case, I suggest you should not continue your feelings for him, as Sayaka's heart is currently only for Ken.” Naomi warned Gandhi.

“Of course not!  I already have children and wives in India, where maybe I betrayed them.” Gandhi denies Naomi's accusation.

“Then what do you mean to ask me that?“ Naomi asked curiously. Gandhi paused for a moment, and soon Gandhi began to explain to Naomi about Hendri, who was Gandhi's friend and Ken's friend on the other ship.

Gandhi told Naomi that everything Hendri had told him by phone, even Gandhi had invited Naomi to contact Hendri. For a moment Naomi thought hard about what Gandhi said, and then Naomi asked Gandhi to meet her later that night after work in the crew room,  Naomi promised to bring someone closer to Sayaka on her appeal, eventually Gandhi and Naomi agreed to meet.

Elsewhere, Sayaka and Chiharu are enjoying the view of the city of Busan, coincidentally today cruise ships leaning on Busan South Korea.

“What do you mean by your question Sayaka... Are you not really in love with Ken?“ ask Chiharu curiously.

Sayaka tells Chiharu everything, about Tetsuya and also her promise to the late Tetsuya to take care of her heart. And he also told me how he started meeting Ken in Shanghai, so that eventually they could be this close to this point, but Sayaka told Chiharu,  that until now he felt in his heart something was uproar, but he himself was also confused about what made him fuss.

Chiharu tries to dive into Sayaka's feelings, she tells Sayaka that everything needs a time process, because many things and truths cannot be revealed with anything but time. For Chiharu, right now the most important thing is how Sayaka feels, how her heart and mind are

you can be comfortable and forget all your sadness.

“Ask your heart, can Ken's presence by your side make you better, or vice versa?  because that is the most important thing for you right now.” Chiharu.

“If his presence makes you better, even better, then keep it. But if what you feel is the opposite, then let go and never try to approach it again.” Chiharu assures Sayaka.

Sayaka smiled with relief at Chiharu's reply, a statement that made her truly feel relieved, as they melted in a happy mood enjoying their short trip in Busan.

Now both Sayaka and Chiharu are back on the ship, and are busy working with their respective duties.

Naomi comes to Bar Chiharu's stand, with the intention of inviting her to meet with Gandhi later that night after work, Chiharu initially refuses, as she plans to rest after work,  but when Naomi says that this has something to do with Ken and Sayaka, Chiharu immediately changes her mind and promises to meet them in the crew room.

After work, Chiharu rushed to the crew room to fulfill her promise to Naomi, upon arrival at the crew room, Gandhi and Naomi were waiting for her. Gandhi immediately started a long conversation about Hendri Ken's friend, where Hendri was the one who told him about the true state of the relationship

between Ken and Dinda. Of course Chiharu did not immediately believe what Gandhi said, because Ken's previous play really made Chiharu believe and believe in the state of Ken and Dinda's relationship.

Gandhi gives Hendri contact to Chiharu, and allows Chiharu to speak to Hendri himself. Shortly afterwards Gandhi contacted Hendri who had a time difference of 8 hours with him, because Hendri himself was currently sailing in Europe, while Gandhi was in Asia.

Gandhi begins his conversation with Hendri, and explains that Chiharu wants to know more, as to what really happened between Ken and Dinda. Hendri happily explained everything to Chiharu, even Hendri did not hesitate to make a video call between Hendri, Dinda and

Chiharu's.

“Halo kak Hendri, what are these nights video call the same Dinda.” Dinda asked Hendri in a sleepy voice.

“Begin Din, there is a friend of Ken who wants to know what your relationship is really like.” Hendri replied while allowing Chiharu to introduce herself.

Dinda who was surprised, immediately realized and lost all sleepiness, gladly Dinda welcomed Chiharu and explained everything that became Chiharu's question. As if struck by lightning in broad daylight, Chiharu was so disappointed in Ken after he heard firsthand how the status of the relationship between Dinda and Ken from the sound of Dinda's own mouth.

“Then who was the woman who claimed to be you at that time?“ chiharu asks Hendri and Dinda, although Chiharu can actually tell which of the original voices is between the real Dinda and the fake Dinda.
