Chapter 1 Meeting In Shanghai

That is how it is felt by many people, love has never looked at the differences of physical, material, likeness and language

 The story of the love journey of two human children who are different nations and languages, found in a long ark journey across the vast ocean.

That morning, a happy day for Ken, a scheduled departure that he was waiting for finally arrived, a work guarantee for him was received via email.

Singapore is the destination of his departure, soon he finds out more definitely which destination will be passed by a cruise ship that will be his place of work later.

Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Japan, now a happy smile is on his lips. Ken rushed to get the suitcase and tidied up his clothes and whatever he would bring to set out for the cruise.

Dinda Ken's lover is so mixed with her feelings, between likes and dislikes she has to let go of her loved one, go far away to leave him for a while,  indeed this is not the first time for Dinda to go far away to work by Ken, but every time Dinda heard the news of Ken's departure, Ken,  surely the feeling of sadness and happiness will come to occupy his heart and mind.

Rushing then Ken said goodbye to his parents and lover to immediately leave for his company's agency office in Jakarta, with Ken train leaving for Jakarta.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, in a country thousands of miles from where Ken is today, a woman is seen sitting dreamily in a city park chair,  near a station in southern Japan, a city that is quite quiet and comfortable for its residents,

An e-mail notification popped up on her phone screen, a smile began to rise on Sayaka's lips, a work call waiting for her. Shanghai was his destination city, soon he saw the destination of every city that his yacht would stop by. Looks like Japan became one of the destinations for the ship's stopover.

 Immediately he moved from his seat, and pedaled his bicycle to rush home to his house which was far enough away from where he was now, with a happy feeling mixed with sadness he pedaled a bicycle, with a happy feeling,  the pleasure because he will soon go to work around the world mixed with the sadness of staying away by his lover for all eternity.

Returning to Ken who was now in his company's representative office, he immediately retrieved all the necessary departure documents. But Ken was surprised by a notice from his agency office informing him that the contract of the destination city of his ship was moved, from Singapore to Shanghai.

 Soon Ken rushed to find time to complete some of his departure documents that had to be changed, because his departure contract changed from Singapore to Shanghai, there was not much time left for him to hurry to prepare everything

 Finally his hard work was not in vain, he managed to complete some additional documents he needed for his departure contract.

With a taxi he headed to the airport, not forgetting he called his girlfriend Dinda, and said that he would be back as soon as possible. “Please wait for my arrival, Nine months will not be long.” Ken told Dinda. There aren't many words to say, just the hope that Ken can meet him again later.

A Boeing plane takes him to Shanghai, with all the new stories waiting for him, and no one knows what will happen.

On the other side of the city, Sayaka is already in the company's agency office in Tokyo, and she is also prepared with all her documents, to fly to Shanghai, and she is also ready to go to Shanghai,  while waiting for the call from the head office, he sat waiting while holding the gift bracelet from his dead lover, in a soft voice, and with a soft voice,  he made a promise to remain faithful to keep his feelings to his beloved who had passed away.

Sayaka departs by bus from the company office, which takes her to the airport to fly to Shanghai, looking every memory with the lover who always looms over her,  the joys and sorrows of several years together became a story that could never be lost easily.

An Airbus took him flying all the way to Shanghai with a million stories waiting for him.

Shortly afterwards, Ken's plane had also arrived at Shanghai's Pudong airport.

Sayaka stands while looking at her watch, waiting for an invitation from the company to pick her up, from a different direction Ken walks towards Sayaka, now Ken is standing right next to Sayaka,  the two of them stood side by side but did not greet each other.

The pickup truck arrives, and a pick-up officer gets off the vehicle to introduce himself to Ken and Sayaka,  while removing a red map that contains a table of crew names to be picked up.

The officer then called according to the name listed in the map, “Sayaka Megumi from Japan and Riken Fauzan from Indonesia?” Asked the pick-up officer to them, they both nodded while raising their hands.

From there, Sayaka then began to notice Ken who was next to her, he stole the view many times that made Ken become misbehaved, Ken also began to dare himself to look back at Sayaka's face, and Ken also began to dare to look at her face,  now Sayaka looks so wrong when Ken looks back at Sayaka, a sweet smile comes out of Ken's mouth greeting Sayaka.

Sayaka's feelings get even more unreasonable, especially after she realizes that Ken is so similar to her long-lost lover, but seems to ignore Sayaka who keeps paying attention to him,  Ken hastily puts his suitcase in the trunk of the car, and offers to Sayaka to help him put Sayaka's suitcase in the trunk of the car.

A saloon drove through the foggy city of Shanghai at the time, heading to a hotel near Shanghai's Baoshan port, where Ken and Sayaka are now together in one vehicle,  and again Sayaka shyly sat next to Ken.

Ken who had earlier, felt that he continued to be noticed by Sayaka, trying to melt the atmosphere by inviting her to talk.

“Hai introduce my name is Riken Fauzan, just call me Ken, who are you?” ken is friendly.

“My name is Sayaka Megumi, you can call me Sayaka, nice to meet you.” Sayaka said kindly, now the atmosphere finally became liquid and warm, there was no longer any awkwardness between them.

Interesting conversation after conversation accompanied them throughout the trip, until finally they did not feel the hotel where they were staying, was seen before their eyes.

Entering them in the Hotel lobby, each of them showing their identity to the hotel's receptionist, Ken gets a room on the ninth floor, while Sayaka gets a room on the sixth floor, and the rest of the hotel is a room on the ninth floor,  the two of them now rushed to their respective rooms by being escorted by a bell boy using a guest elevator.

In the elevator, Sayaka unceremoniously dropped a photo of her lover and left him in the elevator, while Ken, who was using the elevator, has now arrived at her hotel room, for a moment she arranged her things, she said,  feeling that something was lacking, Ken rearranged his belongings, eventually Ken was surprised by his non-existent camera bag, after he tried to recall it, Ken just realized that his stuff was left in the hotel lobby.

Soon Ken went to the hotel lobby to pick up the item, until he accidentally used the elevator used by Sayaka.

Inside the elevator he was surprised to find a photo so similar to himself, lying on the floor of the elevator, and upon seeing it more clearly, he realized that the photo belonged to Sayaka,  the girl he just met, because the picture in the photo is between a woman, Sayaka, and a man who looks like her

himself.

For a moment Ken looked at the photo carefully, and suddenly his feelings began to feel uncertain anxiety.
