Chapter 24 Waiting for Truth

The relationship between Firman and Mayumi is now getting closer, they seem friendly and very harmonious. Sayaka who observed their closeness from a distance, looked so envious of their affection.

Sayaka feels that Ken has changed a lot, she now feels that Ken tends to be busy with his own business, and rarely pays attention to himself anymore. Meanwhile, Sayaka's friends now seem to no longer care about her as they used to and seem to stay away from her.

It was truly a great loss for Sayaka, not to mention her misgivings about Dinda soon to be working on the same ship as her,  adding a gloomy atmosphere to his heart.

Meanwhile, the Word who had also observed Sayaka, began to make the heart of the Word to wonder about Sayaka who looked so sad, the Word tried to ask about Sayaka to Mayumi.

"Mayu... is Sayaka still traumatized by yesterday's problems?" say Word.

Mayumi, surprised by the sudden question from the Word about Sayaka, made her tongue suddenly seem stiff to answer the question of the Word, and,  but Firman continues to urge Mayumi with questions that make Mayumi more desperate.

It didn't take long for Firman to get Mayumi to tell him the truth. "May there's something in your eyes." Said Firman while looking intently at Mayumi's eyes, and Mayumi's moment was unconscious under the influence of the hypnotic Word.

Word makes Mayumi half-conscious to say everything Mayumi knows about Sayaka, Mayumi explains to Word about all the things she knows about Sayaka,  even when Ken and Sayaka sleep together in Ken's room.

Word became surprised to find out that Ken had gone too far, it made the Word that previously did not care about the affairs of Sayaka, finally now become concerned with the affairs of Sayaka and Ken.

After all was felt enough by the Word, the Word re-awakened Mayumi as fully as before, Mayumi who was also half-conscious when hypnotized by the Word to be surprised instead of playing, Mayumi who was also half-conscious when hypnotized by the Word became surprised,  that her lover had the same ability as her.

Beyond Mayumi's expectations, even Firman's ability is greater than Mayumi in terms of hypnotizing, because only with the gaze of the eye alone can make the person he sees become under the influence of his hypnosis.

"Wow you're great the Word.you can hypnotize it too." Mayumi was amazed.

"Not so ordinary.You're also great, you have amazing hypnotic abilities as well." The Word praises.

"Well!. how do you know that I can do hypnosis?. I never told you about it." Mayumi said in wonder.

Firman just smiled sweetly to Mayumi without answering her question, while Mayumi who was curious about the Word finally tried to hypnotize her back, but unfortunately Mayumi's efforts were in vain,  because the Word turns out to be a person who can not be hypnotized.

Even the Word became laughing out loud at the funny behavior of Mayumi who repeatedly patted the shoulders of the Word with various styles, such as,  Mayumi who is not unyielding even more showing his silly side in front of the Word that makes them now chase each other in Open Deck which attracts the attention of people in Open Deck.

Sayaka who was still in her place to laugh at the behavior of Word and Mayumi, even now Sayaka's heart feels relieved after laughing. "Is this..why did my heart return to relief after seeing the two of them happy?" he said in his heart of wonder.

After the Word knew how deep the relationship between Ken and Sayaka was, without much ado, the Word immediately sought Ken at his workplace,  she just wants to know if Ken really loves Sayaka so she dares to decide to fuck Sayaka. Because the Word is the kind of person who does not like the word playful in terms of serious relationships.

"Ken. I want to talk to you." Saying the Word seriously.

"There's no way Fir. I don't want to be disturbed right now." Ken.

"This has to do with Sayaka and her friends." Say Word.

"It's none of my business Fir. The most important thing for me is that Sayaka can be my lonely friend as long as I'm on this ship." Ken said casually.

"What do you mean Ken?. aren't you two lovers." Ask the Word by pretending to be innocent.

"Word... Do you not want to also have a lover on the ship and try to enjoy it?" ken said.

Word, realizing that Ken's intention was to take the opportunity to Sayaka, decides to leave Ken and not continue the conversation. Firman then searches for Mayumi's whereabouts to tell Mayumi in hopes that Mayumi will tell Sayaka to be more careful with Ken.

"Mayu, I already know Ken's heart and the meaning of his feelings for Sayaka." Say Word.

"Huh!.. Did you also hypnotize Ken?... Yoooooooo." Mayumi said.

"No!. I didn't hypnotize him, but he told me honestly about how he felt." The Word explains.

Word told him everything Ken said to him, this made Mayumi to be surprised half to death, now she really felt the obligation to tell Sayaka and the others, too,  Mayumi certainly won't be able to convey this alone to Sayaka, she needs her friends for that,  on the other hand, Chiharu and Naomi have said to raise their hands and not interfere in matters of romance between Ken and Sayaka.

Mayumi is confused now, only the Word of hope can be made friends by Mayumi to convey this to Sayaka, but the Word itself says that he does not feel good with Sayaka,  moreover, he did not know Sayaka too well, he was worried that it would make her considered bad in Sayaka's eyes.

"Don't hesitate Mayumi..all is in your hands for the good of your own friend..is not Sayaka your little friend?" say the Word with hope.

"Yes I know, but I'm not very good at convincing people." Mayumi.

"I'm more confident if you're there the Word, and we'll both convince Sayaka." Say again.

Without them knowing, their conversation turned out to have been heard directly by Sayaka who was behind Mayumi's workroom, Sayaka who heard everything spoken by the Word became very surprised and sliced her heart,  but she still held back her tears to come out.

Amidst the conversation between Mayumi and Firman, Sayaka emerged from behind Mayumi's workroom and immediately embraced Mayumi tightly, Mayumi and Firman were surprised instead of playing with Sayaka's sudden presence.

"Thank you Mayu, and forgive me for doubting you all this time." Sayaka said in tears.

"It's okay Sayaka." Mayumi said while rubbing Sayaka's hair.

Sayaka then asks the Word for help to get more information about Ken, and Ken's true feelings for Dinda and for himself,  because Sayaka realizes that Ken does not yet know the closeness between the Word and Mayumi, so Ken will feel safe when talking to the Word.

Sayaka tells Firman about Dinda, Hendri and also the relationship between Ken and Dinda before,  Sayaka is suspicious of Ken's feelings about returning to Dinda when Dinda is on a ship with them.

"Oh so it's true.well Sayaka, I'll find out as much information as possible." The Word convinces.

"Oh yes. Don't forget tomorrow there is an Indonesian Party, we will commemorate the independence day of Indonesia." The Word explained to them.

"really?.... Uwaaaaaaaaaa I'm definitely coming, isn't Sayaka?" mayumi said happily.

Sayaka nods her head while telling Mayumi to tell Chiharu and Naomi to meet her tonight, Sayaka wants to mend her relationship with them.
