Chapter 14 Searching for Truth

Mayumi and Chiharu's laughter will be a bad omen for Ken's play.

Naomi, who happened to be passing by in front of the library, accidentally heard their laughter, decided to go check into the library.

“Hi both of you, your voice is heard until outside tau.” Naomi warns Chiharu and Mayumi.

“Sini Naomi, come join us.” Mayumi said as she waved her hand.

“What the hell is it, kog like you two are so happy.” Naomi asked in astonishment.

“No kog Mi, I just feel amused by Mayu's behavior. Her behavior is like an adorable panda doll.” Chiharu said as she pinched Mayumi's cheek in a fit of anxiety.

The three of them are now in the library, sharing stories and unwinding them together, so that time does not turn into night.

“Eh I went first yes, I forgot there was an appointment with someone.” Mayumi.

“Really... You have an appointment with whom?” ask Naomi curiously.

“Meet me at the crew bar, and you will know for yourself.” Mayumi replied as she hurried away leaving the others.

An announcement from the captain was heard by loudspeakers at every corner of the ship, which informed him that tomorrow the ship would not be leaning towards Shanghai, but would be turning directly to Japan's Saporo,  and will start a cruise session in Japan and South Korea, Of course this is an exciting news for

some crews are from Japan and South Korea.

Now Mayumi has been in the crew bar, with a makeup that looks so beautiful, making all the eyes of men in the crew bar amazed by her beauty, the funny impression that always attached to her, and the,  suddenly disappeared changed into a graceful impression like a king's daughter.

Without Mayumi knowing, Sayaka, Chiharu and Naomi have arrived first at the crew bar, they are so curious about who Mayumi will meet. The three of them wait for Mayumi behind the crew barn, they deliberately hide so that Mayumi does not know their whereabouts.

Shortly thereafter, Firman came to the crew bar with his guitar bag, because it just so happened that tonight was the schedule he filled out at the crew bar.

“Hai Miss Mayumi, sorry to have you waiting.” Say Word kindly.

“Oh no, I'm not waiting for kog, I just got here too…. Oh yeah, don't call me miss, just call me Mayu.” Mayumi blushed in embarrassment.

“Good Mayu…. Oh yes, may I please take a moment, I want to install my guitar effect equipment first on stage.” Speak the Word politely.

“Then we will do it together.” Mayumi stood up and walked towards the stage.

Meanwhile Sayaka and the others had been watching from the warehouse, beginning to guess whether someone who wanted to be met was indeed the Word, or maybe there was something else?.

Mayumi and Firman seemed so compact in arranging the band's equipment on stage, they both seemed to have the same chemistry,  helping each other and understanding between the two of them in setting the equipment on stage, making anyone who saw it will feel jealous of the romantic cohesiveness of the two of them.

Until at one moment, Mayumi's feet were accidentally tangled in a transverse sound cable on the stage, with a swift Word jump from his place and save Mayumi who would fall from the stage.

The body of the Word must be a samsak from the hard pounding iron floor crew bar, while Mayumi who was in the arms of the Word was in a state of fine.

Sayaka, Chiharu and Naomi who saw the incident, were shocked and shouted loudly, which made the contents of the crew bar make them the center of attention and their presence is now known by Mayumi.

“You okay Mayu?” tanya Firman worries while grimacing in pain.

Mayumi, who was increasingly dissolved in her feelings for the Word, made her speechless, she just smiled as she nodded her head.

Sayaka hurriedly ran straight towards Mayumi and Firman, to make sure of the two of them.

“Are you two okay?” ask Sayaka worriedly.

“How are you doing Word?” mayumi said worriedly while checking the condition of the body of the Word.

“I'm sorry…. Sorry for my carelessness.” Mayumi said regretfully as she bowed her back.

“Thank God that you are well, I hope this incident will not happen again.” Sayaka.

“Alright!  how about we help the Word finish its work.” Take Naomi.

“Eh do not bother, I thank you as much, after all everything is done, so there is nothing to prepare again. Now you should choose a comfortable place, while waiting for the time for my band show later.” The light of the Word to all.

“Waaaa…. Then let's find the best seat for us, Mayu will treat us tonight…. Isn't it Naomi?” said Sayaka while nudging Naomi's body.

“Oh…. Yes, I forgot that Mayu got her promotion today, so let's celebrate.” Naomi said spontaneously.

“Hah!... what rank?  what do you mean?” ask Mayumi in surprise.

“Ah…. Let's go.” Sayaka said while pushing Mayumi's still confused body.

That night was really a romantic atmosphere for Mayumi and Firman, Firman with his melodious voice and his guitar playing so stunning, giving a song offering for Mayumi.

Sayaka, Chiharu and Naomi finally know, who is the man who managed to conquer Mayumi's heart, he is the Word.

Sayaka and Chiharu look so happy and happy to see the intimacy between Mayumi and Firman. But not the case with Naomi, facial expressions were not happy to be shown by her, when she saw Mayumi and Word were so romantic, and in the end Naomi decided to leave first to leave the others.

The next day, Naomi looked as uninspired as the previous days, her face gloomy uninspired. Nearby Ken watches Naomi's face different from her usual day, Ken approaches Naomi and asks her to joke around trying to cheer her up.

“Hai Ugly !.... what are you thinking, have a shower yet?” said Ken who tried to cheer him up.

“Iya I am ugly, and the eyes of men will prefer a beautiful woman even much more beautiful than the word beautiful.” Answer Naomi with a ketus.

Ken, surprised by Naomi's unusual answer, soon learns that Naomi is heartbroken.

“Come on Naomi, I'm just kidding…. Who is the – foolish man who has wasted your feelings?  here tell me, I'll teach that guy a lesson.” Said Ken while puffing his chest and clenching his hands.

“What the hell are you Ken, who's that idiot you mean?” naomi said as she started smiling.

“Honestly, you're heartbroken right?” ken was convincing.

“Ah…. It's none of your business.... For sure I still dare to be honest with myself, and not hurt the feelings of those I love…. It's not like you make the show all.” Naomi replied subconsciously to have spoken words that offended Ken.

Ken, shocked by Naomi's statement, now seriously asks Naomi to explain everything. “What are you saying!  Oh I get it…. It turns out there is a secret that is covered from me huh?” Ken is upset.

Naomi, who was aware of her mistake, was now confused by what attitude she should do. “No!... nothing, nothing to explain.” Naomi tried to avoid.

“Tell Naomi, it's useless if you hide something from me, because I already know it.” Ken calmly tried to lure Naomi.

Naomi, who had become wet with her own words, finally said everything she knew to Ken, about Gandhi, Hendri and Dinda. Also he tells about the attitude of Chiharu who chose to be silent and pretended not to know, because he did not want to snatch the happiness of his best friend Sayaka.

Naomi's explanation made Ken sit in a doldrums, he felt so guilty towards Sayaka and Dinda, he felt bad for Chiharu who had covered up his disgrace. Ken then draws closer to Naomi and reveals what the truth is.

“Thank you Naomi, for telling me about everything…. I admit, I was wrong, I was too afraid to be honest. I'm afraid to hurt Dinda's feelings if I say I've never really loved her all this time. And I'm afraid I can't be the right person for Sayaka.” Ken bright as he shed tears.

“Then now, the point is who do you love?” Ask Naomi firmly.

“I feel happy when I was beside Sayaka, I feel happiness that I have never felt so far…. Even if I compare myself to Mala, I have never felt the happiness that Sayaka brought me.” Ken brightly rubbed his tears that soaked his cheeks.

“Mala?.... Who is he?” ask Naomi curiously.
