Chapter 12 The Hidden Power

Gandhi, who remained firm with his stance, chose to remain silent in his seat, and ignored the cues from Chiharu.

“Sayaka... After all you should know, that Hendri was" not finished Gandhi finish his speech, suddenly "Pyurrr!!!!...." Chiharu accidentally spilled hot chocolate onto Gandhi's shirt.

The surprised Gandhi stood up and saw the condition of his uniform which was now filled with chocolate spills.

“Eh. I'm sorry!.. I was accidentally.” Chiharu said as she picked up the tissue while cleaning up the brown spill that was stuck in Gandhi's uniform.

“What is the meaning of all this Chiharu!.. You deliberately ya“ Gandhi said in an angry tone.

“No…. Really I did not accidentally.. My hand suddenly just moved by itself.” Chiharu said

holding his wrist.

Meanwhile, Sayaka who had just been silent and confused to see what happened between Ghandi and Chiharu in front of him, then immediately stood up and rushed to the taylor room, he asked the guard

taylor to give him a waiter uniform for Gandhi.

When Sayaka returned to the crew mess, Gandhi and Chiharu were still in a fuss, Without much ado, Sayaka immediately gave a new uniform to Gandhi, who was not a fan of his own,  and she told him to wash Gandhi's uniform that was hit by a brown water spill.

“Thank you Sayaka, I know you are indeed a good person.I hope you will always be blessed by God, and kept away from those who will hurt you.” Gandhi said as he left them.

“Actually what is it... I'm sure there must be something you two cover from me?“ sayaka asked Chiharu.

“No Sayaka... all is well, relax.. I don't know anything.” Chiharu answered in confusion.

“What do you mean by not knowing anything?“ Ask Sayaka later.

From the back, Mayumi placed her palm on Chiharu's shoulder, suddenly Chiharu became limp and sat down on the chair with a droop.

“A... what happened to Chiharu?“ ask Sayaka to panic.

“Relax Sayaka, I was just trying to make her calmer.. Look Chiharu's face looks so panicked and tired Mayu replied while rubbing Chiharu's back.

Ken and Marco, who at that time passed by the crew mess, went straight to the place where Sayaka's dining table was, they found out what happened and helped calm Sayaka who still looked shocked.

“So there was a crew named Gandhi came to us, and there was a little misunderstanding between Chiharu and him.” Mayumi had not had time to finish her explanation, but she did not have time to do so,  Ken interrupts by pulling Sayaka's hand away from Mayumi and the others.

Sayaka who was surprised and confused what to do, can only follow Ken's steps that pull his hand away from Mayu and the others.

Confused by the incident, she releases her grip on Chiharu, and rushes after Sayaka. “Hey!.. wait for me Sayaka.” cried Mayumi as she ran after Sayaka.

Ken quickly takes Sayaka to the open deck, and Ken asks Sayaka what Gandhi has said, but the confused Sayaka can only shake her head in a clueless manner.

“I do not understand what you ask Ken?.. because Gandhi also did not say anything.” Answer Sayaka

“Actually what was... earlier I only heard Gandhi mention Hendri's name... Do you know him?” ask Sayaka later.

Ken seemed to be starting to panic now, he started to get scared with all the lies he had made, he started to feel worried about Hendri who might have given a lot of information to Ghandi.

“Iya, I know him…. Hendri is my friend from Indonesia, but he is on another ship at the moment.” Ken explained to Sayaka.

Mayumi with a breath of breath finally arrived at the open deck, immediately she walked closer towards Sayaka and Ken.

“Hey!.. Why would you leave me?  I haven't memorized the whole place on this ship, how about I lose my way.” Mayumi said while tidying up her messy hair.

“I'm sorry Mayumi.. I didn't mean to leave you, but Ken just pulled my hand out.” Sayaka answered Mayumi. Mayumi then looked at Ken's face, and remembered that they had met before in the crew mess together with Marco.

“Iya is right.. we have met before in crew mess.” Answer Ken kindly.

“So what is the relationship between you?” mayumi asked curiously.

Ken and Sayaka now look at each other, and are confused to answer Mayumi's question. Because they themselves are also still confused about the status of their relationship.

“Hey!  why just shut up. Are you not Tetsuya's lover?” mayumi asked curiously. Mayumi does not yet know the closeness between Ken and Sayaka, and she does not yet know that Tetsuya is gone.

“Who is he?  have you guys known each other before” asked Ken to Sayaka.

“She was my schoolmate and Tetsuya first.” Sayaka answered briefly.

Sayaka then leaves while pulling Mayumi's hand which is still confused, when Sayaka's feelings suddenly become unpleasant, so she decides to go away from Ken to calm down.

“Sayaka, are you good – is fine?” mayumi asked again in a slow tone

“Iya Mayu, I'm fine.. I just want to be alone for now.” Answer Sayaka

Mayumi who felt that her best friend was not okay, immediately put her hand on Sayaka's shoulder, suddenly Sayaka became weak and sat down lethargic.

Behind her cute and adorable appearance, Mayumi has an amazing ability to hypnotize, just by putting her palm on someone's shoulder, she will instantly be able to hypnotize the person,  it's just that Mayumi does not carelessly use his abilities, because he also needs a lot of energy to do this.

Under Mayumi's hypnotic influence, Sayaka reveals all the questions Mayumi asks about her relationship with Tetsuya,  his feelings for Ken and many more things related to his life on the ship today.

Seems enough, Mayumi then resuscitated Sayaka, Mayumi keeps a meeting of all the information he got from Sayaka.

“What happened…. Why am I here…. Am I asleep?” sayaka asked confused

“Hore!.. You finally woke up too, let's get back to work…. You fell asleep here, maybe you're tired.” Mayumi manipulates Sayaka's mind.

Sayaka completely forgot what had happened, not even she remembered that she had met Ken on the open deck, and also her meeting with Gandhi and Chiharu on the crew mess. Mayumi accidentally erases the memory from Sayaka, so that Sayaka feels better and does not grieve back.

Mayumi then comes to Chiharu at her workplace, she takes Chiharu somewhere to dig up more information that Chiharu might know.

“Mayu, why did I suddenly feel weak, when your hand touched my shoulder?  and after you let go of your grip, my body again felt powerful, even more powerful than before.” Chiharu asked Mayumi

“Ah it's just your feeling, maybe a coincidence.” Mayumi answered trying to dodge

“I can't be wrong with how I feel…. You must have an amazing ability…. Come be honest with me.” Chiharu asked convincingly

Now that it was Chiharu's turn to show her ability to Mayumi, she held Mayumi's wrist, and suddenly Chiharu was able to look deep into Mayumi's thoughts and memories, Chiharu was shocked by what she saw,  how Mayumi had hypnotized Sayaka and asked Sayaka a lot of things.

Mayumi, who realizes that Chiharu can laugh at Mayumi's thoughts and memories, tries to let go of Chiharu's hand grip, but Chiharu's hand grip is so strong, that Mayumi finds it difficult to let go of her hand grip,  Chiharu tried to put her palm on Chiharu's shoulder with the intention to hypnotize Chiharu.

But before Mayumi managed to put her palm on Chiharu's shoulder, Chiharu – hurriedly took off her hand grip and dodged the touch of Mayumi's palm by locking Mayumi's other wrist.

Chiharu turned out to be an Aikido martial arts expert, so it was only natural that Chiharu was so easily evasive and locked onto Mayumi.

“Detach…. Release Chiharu…. Pain know!” mayumi said meronta

“I'll let go…. As long as you're honest with me Mayu.” Chiharu replied while keeping Mayumi's hand locked.

“All right I'm honest…. But be honest about what?” mayumi asked while grimacing in pain.

“You have the ability to hypnotize someone right?” Chiharu asked Mayumi.
