Chapter 3 The Birth of New Romanticism

Right what Ken was thinking, Sayaka who looked confused looking for a place for the induction crew, suddenly he was approached by Pedro, and Pedro instead took him to a quiet place, where he was,  Ken who knew about it immediately ran after Sayaka who was following Pedro's steps.

Ken is looking for a way in which Ken can save Sayaka without upsetting Pedro, because after all Pedro is an officer, who by his post can easily recommend to the company,  to fire a crew like him.

Ken took the initiative to grab a cup of coffee nearby, then rushed to spill it right in Pedro's uniform, in this way Ken can keep Pedro away with Sayaka, without having to deal more deeply with Pedro, without having to deal more deeply with Pedro,  while telling Sayaka the correct location of induction.

Pedro bitterly berated Ken who at that time was just silent and apologized repeatedly, the captain who was passing by at the place, then told Pedro to stop his curse to Ken,  Sayaka who understood the intent of Ken was just a small smile watching the incident.

Ken asks Sayaka what her room cabin number is, so she can contact Sayaka if Sayaka needs help from her, Sayaka also gives Ken her room cabin number,  and Ken rushed away after Ken told him and drove Sayaka to the location of his induction.

Induction itself is the orientation period for staff, crew and ship officers who are first working on a cruise ship.

The siren of the ship rang, the sign of the ship soon to set sail, Ken rushed to find an open deck to witness the beautiful scenery of the ship when it was leaving the port, Ken rushed to look for an open deck to see the beautiful view of the ship when it was about to leave the port,  the atmosphere is extraordinary, of course, for all crew members watching the view of the ship leaving the port and preparing to sail the vast ocean.

Sayaka who was suddenly beside Ken made Ken surprised, he gave a glass of warm tea to Ken and asked Ken why he could spill coffee on Pedro,  Ken just smiled while drinking tea given by Sayaka.

“I just don't like it with Pedro, he tried to mislead you earlier.” Ken said briefly.

Sayaka, who heard Ken's answer, was suddenly stunned to see Ken.

The sea breeze began to hit the faces of the two, the line of flying gliders accompanying their ship went slowly, leaving the port of Baoshan Shanghai, a city that became the history of their meeting.

Ken began to invite Sayaka to do a short tour on the ship, he introduced to Sayaka a place where he could access his needs, ranging from restaurant ships to crew, laundry place, where he could access his needs,  a place of entertainment and of course a place to calm down on the ship, although Ken is also new to the ship, but he understands that all ships have a construction flow that is not much different, he said,  his experience working on several ships before made it so easy for him to guess and memorize every ship plan.

He tells Sayaka to be more careful to trust the men on the ship, because some of the men here are lonely people who want warmth from a woman,  and then he would go dump the woman.

“Why are you so considerate of me?” Sayaka asks Ken, Ken does not answer and just smiles while saying goodbye to Sayaka.

Ken's heart seemed to flowery, and now he had completely forgotten his beloved Dinda who had always been faithful waiting for him to sail home, now his attention and affection seemed only to be directed to Sayaka.

Sayaka's heart is now in a state of doubt as to whether she should break her own words to no longer fall in love, or whether she should kill her own feelings for Ken whom she admits have begun to grow,  and can make her happy.

Lim, Sayaka's roommate, takes her to the crew bar to relax and socialize with the other crew, and Sayaka agrees to Lim's invitation and immediately dresses up and prepares to head to the crew bar. There seemed crowded by the crew, staff and officers who were relaxing, Sayakapun just sitting while holding a soda can that he deliberately brought from his room.

Ken, who was at the crew bar, saw Sayaka who was sitting alone immediately approaching Sayaka, Sayaka was so happy and happy about Ken's arrival,  the two of them had a long chat throughout the night, without feeling the time had shown at two in the morning, it was time for them to say goodbye to each other.

With a feeling of happiness, Ken walked back to the cabin of his room, immediately he saw his phone appeared several notification messages from Dinda who was deliberately ignored by Ken. Gandhi's roommate Ken reminds Ken that his phone rings loudly and disrupts his sleep, but Ken simply ignores Gandhi's remarks and chooses to rush to sleep.

The next day, Sayaka was assigned to help with hygiene inspections in the Laundry area, and she and her team rushed to the Laundry room which was on deck zero or the lowest floor of the ship.

A Housekeeper executive from earlier seemed to pay close attention to Sayaka, he also began to approach Sayaka with a seductive Sayaka and invite her to meet at the Crew bar,  but Sayaka subtly refused the invitation of the Housekeeper executive, but the Housekeeper executive did not give up, the Housekeeper executive still continued to impose his will.

A Laundry crew who knew about it and felt uncomfortable with the actions of the Housekeeper executive, deliberately directed the steam pipe toward the Housekeeper executive, he said,  and suddenly a steam explosion shot toward his superior without any obstructions, the housekeeper executive was surprised to see a steam plume that suddenly led to him, he said,  the Housekeeper executive jumped up and shouted to avoid the steam.

Everything in the Laundry area, laughing out loud seeing the incident, it was deliberately done by the Laundry crew because they did not like the executive housekeeper themselves.

Sayaka now feels how her presence on the cruise ship, can give her a new spirit and can give her own happiness that is sad because of the loss of Testsuya.

Lim's roommate Sayaka will be returning home tomorrow, tonight Lim's friends will be throwing a small party to celebrate Lim's success in completing his four-month contract working on the cruise ship,  Lim invites Sayaka to attend the party and hopes that Sayaka will donate a song for her at the event.

Sayaka was embarrassed and afraid of not being able to sing well, so she refused Lim's request to sing, but she made sure she would attend Lim's party.

“Sorry Lim, I'm afraid I will disappoint you with my sweet voice, may I attend your party without me having to sing?” pinta Sayaka to Lim

Although with a somewhat disappointed expression, Lim also nodded his head in agreement while hugging Sayaka,  arrive at the anticipated moment of the celebration of Lim's success in completing the contract as well as Lim's farewell party that will return to his country at the beginning. The people of the ship called it a farewell party.

The party turned out to be not as simple as imagined, each department came and gave a final memento to Lim,  each of them showed their abilities by donating whatever they could to enliven the party, ranging from singing, magic, band performances and break dance.

Sayaka seemed to be enjoying the party, slowly walking towards the backstage and started picking up an acoustic guitar that was in a not-so-big backstage corner.

Everyone is shocked when Sayaka suddenly goes on stage and starts singing a song for her best friend Lim. The atmosphere of the party that was so crowded full of frenzied party excitement, now turned into a sad romantic atmosphere, the whole party participants dissolved in a hilarious atmosphere created by the melodious chants of Sayaka, who was,  Lim also unconsciously shed tears, how deep the song sung by Sayaka, as if telling about the mood of a woman who must be left for eternity.

Ken, who arrived late at the event, took the initiative to pick up a drumstick, and slowly sat on the drum chair behind Sayaka,  until at last Sayaka's guitar and Ken's drum beat melted into perfect harmonization.

This time both Sayaka and Ken had both dissolved their new romance on the ocean-going ark.
