Chapter 22 The First Surprise

That morning the ship leaned on the port of Miyazaki Japan, Chiharu invited Sayaka, Naomi and Mayumi to visit her home. Miyazaki is the hometown of Chiharu, rumonly also not so far from the port where their ship rests.

But Mayumi can't go with them, because Mayumi is too busy to leave her job,  today Mayumi was assigned by Fernando the Manager to make a list of the needs of the new crew that will come in the next one month cruise.

When Mayumi started checking e-mails one by one from the company, how surprised she was when she found an e-mail from an agency in Jakarta that reported there would be an HR crew that came under the name Dinda,  Mayumi then matched Dinda's biodata with Ken's myilicate biodata.

He looked for similarities that might exist between them, and it turned out that everything matched Ken's data as well as Dinda's data, between their hometowns, and their home cities,  and the address of the residence of the two of them who are still in one region.

Mayumi, of course, becomes convinced that the upcoming Dinda is Ken's lover, and between Sayaka, Mayumi and Dinda will be in the same Department. Mayumi is now confused as to who to say this to, whether it is necessary to say it to Sayaka or just say this to Chiharu.

On the other hand, Sayaka who is currently in Chiharu's house with Naomi starts to express the doubts that were previously in her heart.

"Chiharu.. May I ask you something?" sayaka hesitantly.

"Ask what you want to ask Sayaka" Chiharu said calmly.

With little hesitation, Sayaka finally reveals all her curiosities to Chiharu and Naomi, asking them what secrets they have hidden from her, but Sayaka never hides anything from them.

Chiharu and Naomi glanced at each other, finally Chiharu told about what they had been hiding from Sayaka,  and also the hope of Chiharu and the others to end the relationship between Ken and Sayaka.

Sayaka, surprised by what Chiharu said, repeats what Chiharu said to her while they were in Jeju.

"Didn't you tell me to believe in something that would make me happy?" sayaka said to Chiharu.

"Yes..you are indeed Sayaka, but now the position is different. Ken is not a person who can be loyal to his lover.we just do not want you to be hurt later." Light Chiharu to Sayaka with hope.

"Is it true that you slept with Ken?" ask Naomi curiously then.

Sayaka, confused to respond to Chiharu's statement and Naomi's question, later tells her friend that they have plunged Sayaka into a deep black hole.

"Know..your advice used to make me now in a deep black hole, and now you're easily telling me to dig another hole?" sayaka was angry.

"If I've slept with Ken. that's a sign that I really love him. and I decided to love him because of the advice of my own friends" she said again while standing up and leaving Chiharu's house.

Chiharu and Naomi were now speechless, they themselves were at a loss as to what they should do,  Chiharu is aware of her previous remarks that give advice to Sayaka to maintain her relationship with Ken if Sayaka is happy.

And now Sayaka is completely in love with Ken with no hindrance in her heart anymore. "This is all my fault Mi, I used to give her advice to continue with Ken." Chiharu said sadly.

"You are not wrong Chiharu, let this be happiness for Sayaka and we do not have to interfere anymore in their affairs" Naomi said trying to comfort Chiharu who was really hit.

Chiharu and Naomi are now on the return ship, and they are trying to stop caring about Ken and Sayaka's romance. On the other hand Mayumi, who finally managed to get complete information about Dinda, is now looking for the whereabouts of Chiharu and Naomi to tell them about it.

"Hai Chiharu, I have very important information" Mayumi said as she ran closer to the seemingly uninspired Chiharu.

"Well!  are you okay Chiharu?" ask Mayumi in surprise.

Chiharu told Mayumi about the incident last afternoon when Sayaka was at Chiharu's house, she said it was no time to interfere with their romance,  because Sayaka is really in love with Ken.

Mayumi, who heard Chiharu's story, became a little surprised by Sayaka's attitude that suddenly changed like that, even willing to leave Chiharu and Naomi just because she was upset that her romantic relationship was disturbed.

Now it's Mayumi's turn to explain to Chiharu, that she just got an e-mail from the agency in Jakarta, which explains the arrival of a new crew in the near future,  where the new crew was allegedly Dinda Ken's lover. The revelation from Mayumi made Chiharu become shocked and curious.

"Do we need to tell Sayaka about this?" mayumi.

Chiharu was speechless thinking for a moment, she then remembered Hendri. "I think we will confirm it first to Hendri. He must know more about the truth of this information." Chiharu explained later accompanied by a nod of the head from Mayumi.

"Do you have any of those upcoming photos of Dinda?" ask Chiharu later.

"I have printed all the documents and photos" Mayumi said, handing over all the papers she had brought.

How shocked Chiharu was, after she saw the photo of the document brought by Mayumi,  the photo he saw inside the printout of the document file was exactly the same as Dinda he had seen during a video call some time ago.

Sayaka now no longer cares about Chiharu and her other friends, this time she will only focus on her feelings and also her life.

He felt really disappointed with his friends who could only plunge it into a matter, and then impressed to leave it easily.

In his study, Sayaka tried to open the manifest file that had been previously compiled by Mayumi, suddenly Sayaka's eyes were fixed on a name on the crew manifest list,  none other than Dinda.

Sayaka begins to do what Mayumi has done before, she checks out Ken's manifest as well as Dinda's,  and how surprised he was to find out that their address was in the same city.

Sayaka's thoughts began to raise various questions, "Is it true that Dinda is Ken's lover?" he said in his heart, Sayaka continued to observe photos of Dinda that look so beautiful and charming. Suddenly, suspicion began to appear in his mind.

Sayaka contacts Ken to ask him to meet, he wants to make sure to Ken himself whether Dinda who will come is his girlfriend Dinda or not.

"Ken... Can we now meet at the crew bar?" sayaka.

Sayaka's invitation was immediately supported by Ken, who is currently Ken is in a working break, Sayaka immediately printed a photo of Dinda for later she will ask Ken when she meets. They met at the crew bar.

The atmosphere of the crew bar that afternoon is still very quiet, because the crew bar itself will be open at night until the morning. Sayaka then allowed Ken to sit down and immediately start their conversation.

"Why is your relationship with Dinda now?...do you still often ask the news" said Sayaka began her conversation.

"I've never communicated with him. Let him be happy with his choice of heart now" said Ken ketus.
