REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2

REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2
PROMISE TO COME BACK!

Three days to the troop departure. Janu is getting busy preparing all the equipment. Maira is no less busy. With the help of tea Lina, her domestic assistant, she prepared various kinds of dry dishes that would be supplied to Janu.

Meanwhile Bu Kusno - Maira's mother - also Bu Hartini - her father-in-law - repeatedly called, ascertaining whether Maira needed to be accompanied or not. Actually Janu wanted his mother or mother-in-law to come accompany Maira, but his wife refused.

"I'm okay, Mom. Just chill. If you later mother or even Hartini eyes want to play here, it's okay. But just play, take off kangen with us. If you have to accompany, do not. Poor them."

In the end, Janu suggested that his mother and in-law come to Bandung if they are free. Currently, Ms. Hartini is busy with the business of harvesting in her rice fields. He has to watch the workers. While Bu Kusno of course takes care of Mr. Kusno who has not received a work leave.

Two more days ... one more day .. and time goes like a caterpillar chewing leaves. Unknowingly it had suddenly run out of thinness. The chance to be together this year stayed last night. Tomorrow morning Janu has to leave for Lanud Halim, heading to the land of Papua.

In the middle room they gathered. Janu sits between Maira and Oza. His wife rests her head on Janu's shoulder. While his son lay down in Janu's stomach.

"As long as you're gone, you're gonna have to take good care of yourself. Keep health!" Janu's Message. Oza's hair was removed, while his lips kissed Maira's head.

"Oza, take good care of mom and grandpa, yeah!" he continued with a slightly hoarse voice. "Same mother, who is diligent in her salary!"

"Yes, Dad," replied Oza. His waves started to appear.

"Mother Maira too, do not forget the routine of control, take vitamins. Don't work hard!"

Maira just nodded.

"Where can you call us?" Oza looked up at Janu.

"Hopefully it can. But I didn't promise. You see, we'll often be in remote areas."

Oza took a deep breath, swallowing in disappointment.

"But I will always try to send you news. I promise!" Janu hugged Oza and Maira tightly. That gallant man was all his might holding back his tears from falling.

When Oza is asleep, Janu and Maira enter the room. Tonight Janu intends to leave behind memories of the love sign before leaving. Gently touched Maira. His hands traced every curve of his wife's body without being left behind a single inch. His lips kissed Maira's eyes, nose, cheeks and lips. The words love and promise to come back.

Tonight, Janu enters Maira feelingly. It is soft, warm and makes it an unforgettable memory.

***

Morning came, everything was done. Janu was already wearing a striped uniform complete with his mesh beret. Maira gracefully wears a light blue PIA uniform. Oza was no less neat with shiny curly hair by hair cream had his father.

"Darling, if you drive home later, can you?" ask Janu.

"Can, Mas. Kan, usually also bring it, if you pick up Oza's school in the rain."

After becoming Janu's wife, Maira did learn to drive. If one day it takes and I am on duty, you will not bother asking for help from others if you can drive yourself, said Janu.

It was early morning when they arrived at the office. But the atmosphere is already quite crowded. Most of the wives, children and families of one of the troop companies, took off from loved ones to their places of duty.

Janu takes Maira and Oza into a tent set up on the ceremonial grounds. He told Maira to sit on one of the chairs there. While he himself then joked with Oza. At the last moment, Janu did not want to see his son feel sad because he would part with him.

"Dad, how long is a year?" ask Oza.

"That's twelve months, baby."

"That's old?"

"Enggaaak .., only until second grade Oza later."

"Old!" sumpul Oza's.

Janu laughed, then hugged Oza who was in his lap.

"It's later to shoot people huh, Dad?" Oza stroked the SS 2 popor slung over Janu's shoulder.

"Shoot the enemy, Za."

"The enemy is people too, right?"

"Pity."

Janu smiled, he took Oza's hair. "If it's on the battlefield, the army's only two options, shoot or be shot."

"Did you want to fight?"

Duh!

"There may be a father will meet with the criminals who plague our country. They're carrying guns. Well, this father's gun is for self-defense."

Oza's round eyes looked at Janu. "But you're not going to die, are you?"

Janu. Oza's plain question struck his heart. The boy had lost his father. Don't let the tragedy happen again to him.

"God willing, I won't die there, Za."

"Daddy promise? I promise I'll go back to Oza and Mommy?" asked Oza while pointing the little finger.

"Dad promise!" Janu links her pinky to Oza's pinky. Then they hugged each other.

Maira quietly shrank in tears, hearing Janu and Oza chatter.

The personnel release apple was implemented a few moments later. The family watched from the chairs under the tent. Not half an hour, the apple's over. The soldiers came back to their families to say goodbye.

Maira stood up, leading Oza out of the tent. Janu approached them.

"Nr ...." Janu's voice was stuck in his throat. Instead of continuing, he instead lifted Oza in a sling. Then one hand grabbed Maira's body. He kissed Oza and Maira alternately.

Maira's tears spilled on Janu's striped uniform. The woman drowned her face in Janu's chest. Oza placed his hands around his father's neck. His head fell on Janu's shoulder. The boy was stupefied by sobs that started coming out.

"Sttt ..., Garuda soldier candidates should not cry!" janu whispered in Oza's ear.

"Mas, be careful there, yeah. Send word whenever you get a chance!"

"Ready, Honey." Janu again kissed Maira's head.

An announcement to get the troops ready was heard immediately. The pounding on Maira's chest grew louder. Hugged Janu's body tightly, as if afraid of loss. Likewise Janu, clasped Maira's shoulders tighter and hugged Oza in a sling. Every second is very meaningful, every second is an expression of love as a provision for later travel.

"Yes, baby, I'm leaving" Janu said. Removed his hand from Maira's shoulder, then lowered Oza from the sling.

Maira's eyes stared pushyly at Janu. His lips trembled like he was about to say something, but he was unable to. While Oza was still busy with his sobs.

Janu kissed Maira on the forehead, then looked down, kissed her stomach. Then Janu crouched down in front of Oza. His eyes were staring at his son. A smile on his lips.

"Heh, future Garuda warrior, wipe away your tears!" Firmly Janu said. "Your job now is to take care of your mother and sister-to-be. Understood?!"

Oza wiped his snot and tears. His shoulders are still cringing. "M-giggling, A-dad," Oza replied in his betweenstands.

"The answer is firm!"

Oza took a deep breath. "Understand me, Dad!" answer in a louder and stern voice.

"Good!" Janu hugs Oza and kisses her two cheeks. Before his tears fell, the man immediately got up and greeted Maira. "I'm leaving, Dik," he said softly.

"Beware, Mas ...." That's all Maira can say. Then the mother and son looked at Janu's back which passed from before them.

Maira's tears are back. Oza back sobbing.

Come back like you promised, Mom!
