Maira decided to stay in Jakarta. He waited all day for Karina. Oza accompanied by Pratu Haris returned to the official house of Bayu, rest there
"You better take a break to my house!" suggestion Bayu.
Maira refuses. He really wanted to be near his little sister. Serves, accompanies, and invites stories when Karina awakens. He wanted to make amends because he only now knew Karina's suffering from her illness.
At Maira's suggestion, their father and mother were finally informed by Bayu. Mr. Kusno and his wife were very surprised. They cried at the sad news. Without waiting for long, they immediately decided to leave for Jakarta.
"Tonight you will sleep in my house" Bayu said as the day grew.
"I'll just wait here!" Maira who had been sitting next to the bed Karina replied, without looking at Bayu. Her hand was still stroking Karina's arm. His sister looked sound and comfortable because of the presence of Maira next to him.
"Don't!" sergeant Bayu. "You must also think of the child in your stomach. Pity him if you take him to the hospital."
Maira's stunned. A moment ago she forgot she was pregnant. Sadness and worry saw Karina's condition take away her consciousness. His stomach looked enlarged.
"And again, tomorrow if you come, let someone serve at home. Now let me call Haris to get you."
Maira relented. After Karina wakes up, she tells her sister to rest at their official house. He kissed Karina's forehead.
"I go home first, yes" whispered Maira.
Karina nodded. Smile develops. The face that had looked pale that afternoon was now brighter. "Greet Oza, yes," he said.
That night Maira and Oza stayed at Bayu's house. Pratu Haris prefer to sleep in the youth barracks with his friend who served in the lanud Halim Perdanakusuma. The young soldier felt bad if he had to stay at home with his senior wife.
The next morning Maira's father and mother arrived by taxi online. By dawn they arrived at the station. They immediately poured out sadness in front of Maira. Ms. Kusno was sobbing in Maira's arms. Mr. Kusno sat on the sofa while covering his face.
"Patience, sir, Mom," comfort Maira.
"Kok, can you, Mai?" asked Bu Kusno between her tears.
"Yes, the name is a disease yes, it could be to, ma'am."
"When did he get sick?"
Maira sighed. He took his mother to sit next to his father. "So long he knew his illness. From before marriage. He's been keeping secrets from Bayu and us all this time."
"Ah, the child ...," complained Ms. Kusno. "What are the odds, Mai?"
"Not yet to know, Mom. Yesterday was the same today, it was a holiday. I have not been able to consult a doctor. Hopefully Karina will improve soon. Yesterday, when I came home, her face was brighter."
Ms. Kusno bit her lips on her youngest child.
After cleaning themselves and eating breakfast rice and finally just stirring, they left for the hospital delivered pratu Haris and Oza. Arriving there they took turns in because it was not time to bezuk. The first one to get a turn is Bu Kusno. Arriving at the room, the woman immediately rushed to hug her daughter. Sobs can't be held back anymore.
"I-mother s-already ... I-I'm fine," said Karina softly and slightly panting. The woman's hand wiped the hardened tears on her mother's cheek. "I-I'll be recovering soon again."
Bu Kusno nodded. She kissed Karina's face with all her affection.
Outside the room, Maira is seen talking to Bayu. Both of them leaned against the hospital wall.
"What do doctors think, Om?" maira asked carefully.
Bayu inhales air and exhales slowly. "This type of leukemia suffered by Karin is actually quite slow development. It can be treated with oral drug therapy only. It has to be routine and discipline. And even though he's been improving for the rest of his life, he's got to keep taking the medicine."
"But why did yesterday drop?"
"Maybe a thought."
"Thinking?"
Bayu nodded. "She used to complain to me that she would never be the perfect woman to give me a child. The necessity of taking cancer drugs all her life makes her have to refrain from getting pregnant."
"Maybe that's why he dropped. I told you many times that I don't care about children. For me the most important thing is that he is always healthy, with me all my life. I was just happy." Bayu's voice sounded hoarse. The man's eyes were glazed.
"Prophey yes, Om. Hopefully with the visit of my father, Karina will be stronger to face all this."
Bayu nodded.
By late afternoon, Maira went to Karina to return to Bandung. He can not stay in Jakarta for long because tomorrow Oza also has to go to school. In addition, the Haris pratu who is the driver must also enter work.
Bu Kusno and her husband stayed. The plan is for the next few days, waiting for Karina to improve and be able to return home from the hospital.
"Thank you, ma'am" said Karina when Maira said. His voice was still weak but no longer panting.
"What matters now is that you always have to be passionate. Don't think about any bad things. Om Bayu is a good husband. Fight and hold out for him" whispered Maira in Karina's ear.
The thin-cheeked woman nodded with a smile. "Goddessa, Ma'am. I will be as strong as Maira in the face of any provision given to me."
Maira stroked Karina's hair. His heart was dying to see that black hair was now getting tangled and thinned.
"I went back to Bandung first, Karin. Remember, spirit!"
Karin nodded. She hugged Maira's shoulder as her brother lowered his head to kiss her forehead.

In the morning in Bandung, Maira reported about Karina's illness to Janu. That day her husband's schedule went down from the hinterland.
"What?!" exclaim Janu. "When did he get sick?"
"Ever before marriage has been detected. But he hid it from us, Mas."
Janu shook his head. "Trus now what's the condition?"
"Yesterday afternoon pas no stay already looks more immediately, anyway. Hopefully it gets better. I haven't had time to call Bayu."
Janu. For a moment they drowned in silence. There is no desire to joke and tease each other as usual. What befell Karina has seized the happiness that should always be present when they meet over the phone.

A week later, Karina was allowed to go home. The therapy for his cancer is still with oral drug therapy. The doctor again emphasized that Karina always disciplined to take her medicine. Because it would be a healing step for Karina.
"From now on, you don't think of the macems. I'm happy enough with you. Regarding children, don't think too much!" bayu firmly after she laid Karina's body on the bed of their house room.
"Although we're going to be a childless couple, Mas?"
Bayu nodded firmly. "Even without a child!" Then he kissed Karina's forehead, cheeks and lips.
The woman stiffened for a moment. The squeezing of the back of Bayu who was looking down kissed her face.
