Maybe laughter never goes away, smiles never fade. But the hope held will return all, albeit slowly.
Janu was eventually declared cured of depression. He can go back to his family. Everyone welcomed with joy.
"Then, when is your plan to report to the office in Bandung?" ask Bayu who happens to be returning to Jogja.
"Maybe in a few days, Yu. I called the commander, he said 'set it up'."
"You're the same Maira and the kids aren't, Mas?" Karina goes nimbrung.
"It wants, that's it. But Maira has to take care of Oza's school transfer first."
"Here, weigh that!" Karina's lips are throbbing. "Kan, you can ask your mother or father for help. Ma'am Maira let me go to Bandung with mas Janu!"
"Mother's love, Rin!" Maira who just came from the kitchen, chimed in. "It has to be this way!"
"It's okay, Mai!" sahut Bu Kusno who walked behind Maira. "Your mother is not very decrepit. If only told to take care of this it can still!"
Karina chuckles. The other smiled faintly at Bu Kusno's words.
"Let's help you too. Now you often have free time. Can you give your mother a minute's permission" added Mr. Kusno.
"Well, right!" exciting Karina. "You guys have been separated a long time. Don't miss a little time without a pair of twos, dong!"
"Hush!" Maira turned to look at Oza's room. Worried the boy heard his tantric puffiness.
"When I go to the band next week, I'm ready to go, bang. I'll come back and pick you up again" Bayu said.
"Ah, no need, Om. Let Lik Sutar deliver. Take our car there!" reject Maira.
"And again, it seems not until next week we leave Bandung, Yu. Hunts are not good with the commander if not immediately enter work," said Janu.
Three days later they left. The family is in complete formation, ushered Sutar as his driver.
Entering the official house with loved ones, Maira feels back to finding her lost world. A world of happy blue. It is perfect to be a wife who can serve her husband and children. Back to the daily routine. Preparing food, preparing husband and Oza uniforms, taking care of and caring for Hanin and occasionally following the activities of the wives in the husband's office.
"Sik, you don't get too busy taking care of us!" janu said that night. "Try doing things you like!"
Maira smiles. She leaned her body towards her husband. "Taking care of you is everything to me, Mom."
Janu touched Maira's cheek, shaking off the child whose hair had fallen on his wife's face. "Of course you need refreshing. Don't just stay home. Maybe returning to a career in clothing design would be better for you."
Maira shakes. "I've spent a lot of time waiting for you, Mom. Cook yes, so now we can unite again, why, even I want to leave you guys to work outside the house?"
Maira clasped Janu's hand which was still touching her cheek. "Let me pay off the pain I felt for so long while waiting for you to return, Mas Janu. Let me serve fully for this beloved family of mine. Cause what I need is not the existence of myself out there, but the warmth of family love."
Janu. Maira in the arms. Kissing Maira's hair, forehead, eyes, and cheeks. "Thank you, brother," he sighed.
Everything went back to normal. A family re-establishes the pillars of happiness, even though in the bottom of the heart there is still a wedge. Like a calm river flow, but in it the current is split because of the barrier stone.
Hanin is one year old. Maira had prepared a birthday cake for him. A small celebration that invites friends one block in the official house, is held.
The hour hand already showed the number four in the afternoon. The kids are getting nervous. The forward singing offer from Nina, the host of the afternoon show, was no longer ignored. They can't wait for the summit, cut Hanin's birthday cake.
"Well, what about Mai?" nina whispers to Maira. "Doorprize for children has also been divided. Go straight to the top of the show, how?"
"So soon, yes, sister Nina. Wait for Janu to come home first." Maira's neck extends, looking down the road. The woman was no less anxious.
"Mother, when is the cake cut?" Oza is nervous. He approached Maira who was holding onto Hanin.
Not long after the motorbike was at the end of the road. A uniformed figure was driving it.
"Dad ... Father ... Daddy!" Oza slid out. He welcomed Janu who was driving his motorcycle. "Snap, Dad, friends are impatient, but you want to cut the cake deck Hanin!"
"Yes, yeah, a minute, yeah!"
Oza doesn't care. The boy immediately pulled Janu's hand towards the crowd of children surrounding Hanin and Maira.
"Alhamdulillah, finally ...," murmured Maira.
"I'm sorry, honey, I was called commander for a moment. There is a need," whispered Janu while kissing Maira's forehead. Then the man sat down next to his wife after greeting Nina with a smile and a nod of his head.
"Assalamualaikum, father's most beautiful son!" Janu kissed Hanin's cheek on which Maira was holding.
"Aayaa!" Hanin who started talking reached for his father's face. The boy laughed. Then she moved into Janu's lap.
That afternoon Janu's official house was again festive by the laughter of children. They sang 'Happy Birthday' to Hanin. The cute girl laughed cheerfully as the children took turns to regret it. Janu couldn't help but get anxious when he saw his daughter laughing. Many times a hug and cheek kissed Hanin who was sitting on his lap. Maira watched with a burning sense of happiness.
Maira's happiness remains until nightfall. After the children slept, he approached Janu who was sitting on the sofa of the living room. The man was watching the news on television.
"Mas," said Maira as she shook her butt next to Janu.
Janu. "Hem?" The man then stretched out his arms, hugging Maira's shoulders. "What, honey?"
Maira dropped her head on Janu's chest. "Mas not sleepy yet?"
"Em, is this some kind of code?"
"Did!" Maira pinched her husband's stomach.
"Ow!" Janu pretended to grimace in pain. He held his wife's hand, while one held the body in his arms. "I'm not sleepy yet, but I want to go into the room" whispered Janu in Maira's ear. "... With you."
Not caring for his struggling wife, Janu immediately raised Maira's body. Then he went into the room holding his wife. With one leg, he pushed the door shut.
The cold night in Bandung is not so pronounced. Love has warmed the 3×4-meter-wide room, just like the nights before.

The dawn prayer has not been heard. It was still dark too. But the morning commotion began to feel. Some of the neighbors who were up started to turn on the water pump, open the door of the house, take the vehicle out of the garage.
Maira herself was still writhing lazily. His eyes were slightly open, looking at the clock on the wall of the room, then again closed. A faint smile spread across his lips. The woman almost wrapped her arms around Janu, when suddenly the man was jolted awake from his sleep.
"Bertha!" peek Janu, pretty loud.
Maira's eyes spontaneously opened. The woman's face stiffened. He got up from his sleep, sat down next to Janu.
"What's up, mas?" ask her with a trembling voice.
