REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2

REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2
END OF NESTAPA ANGEL BLACK

If parse error is not enough with his apology alone, is there a need for accountability? Even if it hurts?

Maira just stared blankly at the device on the table. Several times his hand seemed to reach out to the object, but immediately pulled it back. Several times the woman breathed.

For the umpteenth time Maira's hand moved. Right at the same time the device was ringing aloud. Maira was almost jumped by her surprise.

Carina.

Immediately lifted the device. "Hello, Assalamualaikum. Yes, Rin?"

"Waalaikumsalam, Ma'am. How's it going?"

"Alhamdulillah good. You yourself, what is your health?"

"Alhamdulillah be stable, Ma'am."

"What was the final test result?"

Karina did not answer immediately. I heard a breath at the end there. "It still hasn't shown a good condition to start a pregnancy program, Ma'am," she replied weakly.

"Yes, I've been, be patient. Don't force. It will not be good for your health and the fetus!"

"Yes, Mommy." Karina paused for a moment. "O yes, next week maybe I'll go home to Jogja, Ma'am."

"What's going on, all of a sudden?"

For a moment there was no answer from across the street.

"Rin?"

"Em, anu, I .. I want to see Pastor Andreas, Ma'am."

The deg!

Maira's heart is beating. Just like yesterday Janu mentioned Bertha's name. The woman was silent for a moment. He hadn't heard those names for a long time.

"Mom, Maira sir?"

"I-iya," answered Maira softly and stammered.

"Sir, I apologized earlier. But ... but it seems like Bertha is now entering the maternity period."

You count it, Rin?

Maira's eyes glazed over.

"I ... I'd like to see him, Ma'am." Be careful Karina said.

No response from Maira. Fortunately they were not talking directly, so Karina did not need to see a clear crystal that almost fell from Maira's eyes.

"Sir, I'm sorry that what I'm about to do is offending you." A moment Karina was silent, waiting for Maira's reaction. But her brother did not speak at all.

Karina continued. "If Ms. Maira agrees .. I want to adopt Bertha's child."

Maira. He was barely able to speak. His hand holding the device seemed to tremble. The crystal now fell on the cheek.

"Sir, I'm sorry, I was just trying to save that kid. I just want to bring that kid into our neighborhood."

Maira did not respond. His tears are flowing more and more.

"The boy is innocent, Ma'am. And again, like not liking, inevitably, he is .. is the flesh blood of Janu mas."

Hearing that Maira's heart felt sliced. He bit his lips, held the pain.

"It doesn't feel like the heart is letting the child grow out there, without our intervention. Where is our responsibility?" karina continued with a trembling voice.

For a moment both were silent. Then Maira said, "Sorry, Rin, I have to pick up Oza first."

Without waiting for Karina to answer, Maira hung up on him. And instead of picking up Oza, the woman slapped her face on the table. He's spilling all the pain there.

"What would Ms Harni think if I told Ms Maira?" asked Reverend Andreas in a barely excited tone.

"Why should Miss Maira? Why not just Janu sir, Father?"

Reverend Andreas shook his head weakly. "Let Ma'am decide whether Janu is allowed to meet Bertha or not, Ma'am."

"But if it's not allowed, how?"

Reverend Andreas just exhaled a long breath. The man looked down while rubbing his hair with his palm.

"Father, have mercy on Bertha. The boy suffered long enough. Let him meet Janu for a moment!" Ms. Harni begged while cupping her hands in front of her chest. "Especially Bertha's condition is like this."

Andreas's priest's headband made Bu Harni sigh in despair. This is not the first time he has asked the priest to bring Bertha and Janu together. But the pastor always refused.

"We'll see what happens later, ma'am. What's clear is, if you have to tell me about Bertha's condition, I'll still contact Ms. Maira first."

Reverend Andreas turned his head, looking at Bu Harni. The man smiled, trying to counteract the disappointment of the old woman who had spent decades serving the priest's family.

Miss Harni nodded weakly. He then formed the sign of the cross with his hand. So did pastor Andrew.

A few hours passed, the door of the operating room opened from inside. A doctor came out to the priest and Miss Harni.

"How, doctor?" the pastor asked, I could not help but endure patience. The man stood up to greet the doctor Ikhsan, followed by Bu Harni.

"His father and mother?" ask doctor.

They both nodded.

"Congratulations, baby girl, born healthy" said the doctor, with a slightly strained face and a forced smile.

"Praise Tuhaaan!" Pekik. While Ms. Harni closed her mouth with teary eyes. The woman almost screamed out of joy.

"But I'm sorry" continued Dr. Ikhsan.

The laughter and happy look vanished from the face of the priest and Miss Harni. They looked at each other with questionable eyes. Then he turned to look at the doctor Ikhsan.

"What's up, doc?" ask the priest, worried.

"I'm sorry, we've tried our best. But the bleeding of the patient is too severe. Sister Bertha failed to save us."

"W-what?" The priest's feet took a step back. Now his body is on the wall. His eyes were staring ahead. Then slowly the clear membrane covers the view.

Ms. Harni herself was crying. The woman roared calling out Bertha's name. Covering the face with both palms.

Pastor Andreas cried without a sound. His heart crumbled dimly in view of all the suffering Bertha had caused to die. A kara girl who has been considered as her own child has not even had time to meet with Janu. Although the priest knew that Bertha harbored the desire to meet her lover, but the priest did not allow the slightest. For the common good.

"I'm sorry, Bertha," whispered pastor Andreas.

A week ago before Bertha had a hemorrhage. Ms. Harni and the girl were seen descending from an online taxi in front of Andreas's pastor's house. Bertha walked by Bu Harni. The steps are somewhat stung because the stomach is getting bigger.

In the courtyard of the house, they met the pastor who had just returned from the church beside the house. Ms. Harni nodded, while Bertha actually threw away her face.

"Where are the results, ma'am?" asked the priest after replying to Bu Harni's nod. He tried to ignore Bertha's indifference.

"Praise God the fetus is good, Father. It's just that Bertha's blood pressure is a bit high. The doctor advised to be careful and keep food intake."

"Oh, so?" The priest then turned to Bertha. "You rest first, yeah. Do not forget to avoid foods that are prohibited by doctors!" he said while moving his hands as sign language.

Bertha did not respond at all. The girl just shook Bu Harni's hand and rushed over from the place.

"Well!" Worshipful pastor. "Otherwise this time, Miss Harni?"

Bertha has often behaved like that. Silence, anger and indifference to the surroundings.

"Yes, as I said yesterday, Father, he asked to meet with Mr. Janu" replied Ms. Harni.

"I told you, it's impossible. Can't!" The priest's tone of voice rose by several octaves. The man then stepped towards the house.

Miss Harni followed from behind. "At least allow things for a moment, Father. I see he really wants to meet the father of the baby he contains. Poor, father. Many times he begged me, crying and wailing. I can't bear it, father!"

Suddenly the priest stopped his steps, then turned to face Ms. Harni. "My answer remains 'no', ma'am. Janu and Bertha was a mistake. The only way to get rid of that mistake is to forget each other!" firmly he said.

"But Bertha's son was a tangible being, Pastor. How can we forget that soon the fruit of that error will be present among us?"

"Mom!" hardik the priest Andreas. "I'm not in a bargaining position!" Then the man turned around and went back inside the house.

Ms. Harni pegged with a heart that was heartbreaking.

In the funeral home, Bertha's body was buried. The girl with the skin looked like she was asleep. The makeup on his face made it look like life had not been separated from the body.

Miss Harni approached the priestess Andreas who was sitting in a folding chair beside Bertha's body. "Father, how?"

Pastor Andreas flinched. He lifted the face that had fallen down lethargic earlier. "What, Mom?" tanyanya.

"Did the Father tell Maira's mother?"

"Ah, that ... not yet," the priest replied in a stifled voice. Then he reluctantly reached into his pants pocket. A device he put out. His finger moved on the screen, until a contact name was found.

Carina.
