REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2

REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2
SKY DIAMOND

...When in doubt, it is better to let your conscience speak....

Maybe that's what Maira did. Although it hurts any feeling, despite wanting to reject reality, but when he saw the tiny baby, his conscience was broken as well. He's an innocent creature. We need the love of a mother and father. How cruel if Maira obeyed the feeling of disappointment in what happened between Janu and Bertha in the past.

At Mr. Kusno's house, they all looked at Maira who was holding a baby Bertha. There's a pain in Bu Kusno's face. Ms. Hartini had even shed tears. While Karina shut her mouth, hiding a sob that almost exploded.

Janu approached Maira. "If you're asleep, just put it in the room, brother!" said slowly.

"There's Oza and Hanin, Mas. Afraid they'd sleep, keep spilling this baby."

Janu took a deep breath. "Then I'll replace it. You've been carrying her since."

Maira ignored Janu's words. He turned to the man. "O yes, Mas, this baby hasn't been named. You want to, give her a name?"

Janu. Right now he really doesn't know what to do. Maira's attitude like no problem in the least, it makes her restless.

"Mas!"

Maira's voice shook Janu from the daydream. "Ah, e, yes, Brother. I ... I don't know who to name him yet."

"Come on, Mom, don't be like this! Look, I'm okay, I'm fine. You should be like that too! For this baby." Maira stroked the head of the baby who was sound asleep.

"Give the baby a name, son of Janu!" timpal sir Kusno, trying to help overcome the awkwardness between Janu and Maira.

Janu sighed. A moment later he said, "Little Sky."

Maira. "That's a lovely name," he sighed.

"We call 'Lian', yes!" karina exclaimed, while approaching her brother. He then stroked the baby's cheek. "Hello, dear Lian, welcome to our family" he whispered in the baby's ear.

"Good nickname, Rin, 'Lian'," Maira responded.

Suddenly Lian woke up and whined. Maira got up from her seat and held her back while gently patting Lian's butt. But the baby started crying. The longer it gets tighter.

Bu Kusno tried to help calm Lian by stroking her back. "Maybe he's hungry, Mai!"

"Then let me suck it up, Mom."

"But ...!" Janu was suddenly nervous.

"Why, Mas? I have a lot of ASI, really. Hanin will not be lacking. Now Hanin is also rarely suckled."

Maira then stood up and brought Lian into the room. In the room she picked up the baby and began to suckle him. Maira looked at Lian who was greedily suckling at him. The woman's tears were dripping without her being able to take it anymore.

By late afternoon when Oza woke up, he was astonished to see the figure of the sleeping baby next to Hanin. "Who is this, Mother?"

Maira who was sitting on the edge of the bed smiled looking at Oza. "His name is 'Little Sky'. She's your sister too, Za?"

"Sister? How ...?"

Mother nodded. "Yes, she's your sister, just like Hanin."

"But right, she's not Mother's child?"

Maira's hands stretched out, stroking Oza's curls. "Look, baby, even though he's not your biological child, from now on he's your mother and father's son. Just like you and Hanin. The three of you are father and mother's children whom we hold dear."

Oza's round eyes blinked. The 10-year-old has not fully understood. But when he saw the baby Lian who fell asleep with plump cheeks and lips that sometimes move like suckling, Oza became captivated. Baby Lian is as cute as Hanin's sister.

Oza's outstretched hand touched Lian's cheek. "Funny yes, Mother. Black, curly hair." The cheeks of baby Lian. "Eh, he smiled, Mother!" exclaim Oza, make baby Lian sleep disturbed.

"Sttt!" Maira put her index finger in front of her lips.

Oza was about to run out of the room when Janu came in. The boy pulled his father's hand and brought him near the bed. Half a whisper he said, "Dad, Lian is so funny. His skin is black, his hair is curly. Where'd you get Lian's sister?"

Janu just smiled wryly. He sat down next to Maira.

"Oza play outside first, yeah! If you're afraid of noise here. Lian and Hanin wake up" said Maira.

"But when they wake up, I am called yes, Mother!"

"Dik, how, no fuss?"

"No, Mas, Lian's a henchman. The nenennya too voraciously."

Janu stroked Maira's shoulder. "You also have to take care of your health, brother. Don't get tired!"

Maira smiled as she nodded.

Suddenly Janu held her in his arms. "Sik, I'm sorry. Thank you for what you've done." Isak Janu started to sound.

Maira unravels her husband's embrace. "That's it, Mom, don't think about it! Now the most important thing is how we care for and educate the three of them to be children of righteousness and always healthy."

Janu nodded and hugged Maira even tighter.

The next day they prepare to leave for Bandung. Bu Kusno insisted on coming.

"You'll be troubled, Mai, two babies at once."

"Can, there's Lina's tea, Mom!"

"Lha, she's coming home in the afternoon, to? What if two babies cry at night?"

"Hanin, it's big, Mom. Mas Janu can also help momong, really."

"If Janu wants to fit the picket guard how? Wis, anyway I go with the goods a week two weeks! Later when it's safely under control I just go back to Jogja."

Nothing else can prevent. Finally Bu Kusno joined Janu and the family back to Bandung.

A mother's gut feeling sometimes has a point. Although there is Lina tea, Maira still a little trouble on the first day taking care of her two babies. When Lian cries for breast-feeding, at the same time Hanin whines to play with her mother. While Janu had already left for the office and Lina's tea was busy with a mountain of laundry. Lucky there is Bu Kusno who sprightly invites to play Hanin.

"Thank you mom came!" said Ms. Kusno.

Maira just grinned while still nursing Lian.

"Once Lian suckles, we take her sunbathing out, Mai! Let her body be healthy."

"Yes, Mom."

The morning sun still emits light that is not too hot. Maira takes Lian out in Hanin's baby carriage. Hanin uses a tricycle. They choose a place on the side of the complex road for sunbathing.

"Eh, Ms. Janu has come home from Jogja, huh?" greet Bu Hendy, the front neighbor of the house, whose husband is a friend letting Janu.

"Yes, Miss Hendy" Maira replied not so excitedly. She knew how her husband's wife's character was. Always want to know people's business.

The thick-bodied and rather short woman approached Maira and her mother who were looking after Hanin and Lian. At first glance he nodded at Ms. Kusno as a greeting. Then look at his eyes fixed on Lian.

"Eh, whose baby is this?" yells. "Yes, Ma'am Janu?"

Maira just nodded with a smile. He was a bit lazy to respond to Bu Hendy.

Bu Hendy looked at Lian closely. "Cocky, funny, yeah. Like the son of eastern Indonesia."

Maira snorted at Bu Hendy's task.

"Bu Janu's brother is not from Java, is he?"

Again Maira just nodded. He's starting to look a little restless.

"I think it's enough sunbathing, Mai. Just get brought in, yeah!" Ms. Kusno saved the situation.

After saying goodbye to Mrs Hendy, they returned home. Mrs Hendy looked at them with eyes full of question marks.

"Any," he sighed softly.
