REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2

REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2
KARINA'S IDEA

That same afternoon, Karina and Bu Kusno appeared to be talking seriously to someone through a mobile phone. The voice of the woman across there was clearly heard from the phone on the loud speaker.

"But what about Hanin?" the voice across there asked.

"Mbak Wulan just calm down. If only momong Hanin for a few days, I can do it" replied Ms. Kusno.

"How is it, Mom?" The woman who turned out to be Wulan, Janu's sister asked again.

"Mbak Maira has abundant ASI supplies in the refrigerator, Ma'am. ASI production mbak Maira emang quite surplus. Sometimes they are often donated." This time Karina answered.

"Surely Hanin won't be fussy at her mother's house for a few days?"

"I am, sure, Ma'am. For a while I also want to be here first, help momong mommy's kids mbak Maira."

For a moment the voice across there paused.

"The problem is, maybe Maira herself will not agree with this plan" continued Karina. "Know for yourself, Ma'am, how about Maira?"

"Yes, anyway. Maira would not agree. Let alone having to leave his children a few days."

"That's why Karin called Wulan. I mean Karin, please, maybe Wulan help me persuade Maira!"

"okay, Rin. You'll tell Maira first, then I'll ...."

"It's not like that, Ma'am!" cut Karina. "I mean Karin, Wulan was the first to talk to Maira!"

"Kok, me?"

"I don't know how Maira got to me anyway. I'm sure he wouldn't believe my idea. He always thought I was a silly little boy, Ma'am. I can tell he refused!" karina answered half-grumbling.

Ms. Kusno closed her mouth, hiding her laughter.

"Different if you talk about Wulan. He'll have a feeling of unease!"

Across Wulan laughed. "Yes too, yeah. Okay, I'll try."

"Naaah, steady!" exciting Karina.

"I happen to be back in the afternoon to Jogja. I can see Maira at mom's."

"Yes, Mom, right. Good chance, huh!"

"Okay, Karin. Thanks for the idea, yeah. Good luck."

"Amijin!" Almost simultaneously Karina and Bu Kusno guaranteed, before hanging up the phone.

At Bu Hartini's house, before Maghrib Wulan and his family arrived from Solo. Ms. Hartini's happiness cannot be hidden. All family members can finally gather at the joglo house.

In the boisterous familiarity of the extended family, Janu sat quietly in one of the rattan chairs. Sometimes answer the questions given to him in short sentences. Maira sat next to him.

Wulan approached them, then sat down next to Maira. "Hanin's getting pinter, huh?"

Maira smiled as she nodded. The gaze cannot be separated from his children who play with Bu Hartini and Farel, Wulan's children.

"He was yesterday if left for an old hospital, like to fuss?" ask Wulan again.

"No, Ma'am. The important thing is that the ASI supply is safe."

"Eyeahs at home?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Wulan fixed her seat. Then he tilted, facing Maira. "If Hanin had been left for a few days, it would have been safe?"

Maira scrunched her forehead. He looked at Wulan with a confused look. "You mean, Mommy?"

Wulan took a deep breath. "Gini, you know, Mai, you have an idea."

The frown on Maira's forehead deepened.

"What if you and your husband go to Bandung, to your official house."

"To Bandung?"

Wulan nodded. "Yes. You two alone. The kids are just as eye-catching."

"But, Ma'am ...."

"I mean, at least if you go back to the place where you were together, it will make it easier for Janu to recall his old memories."

This time Janu looked around. From earlier he had eavesdropped on the conversation of Wulan and Maira. But he did not respond.

"There you will take Janu to his office, to the places you usually visit."

"But why just the two of you? Why not just the same kids?" maira protest.

"This is so you can focus more on Janu. If you take the kids later, of course you will also bother taking care of them."

Wulan held Maira's hand. "Trust Hanin to Kusno ma'am!" emphatically. "So I called your mother and Karina. They strongly agree with this idea. And they'll be able to look after your kids for a few days."

Wulan turned her eyes to Ms. Hartini who was busy playing with her grandchildren. "Mother will also help look after her grandchildren!"

Maira. He then looked at Janu. Their views collide. "Where, Mas?"

"What?"

"Does I want to go to Bandung, to Janu mas first and to our official house?"

Janu just shrugged his shoulders. He doesn't know what to answer. His head was empty of past memories.

"You want, Nu. Who knows, your memory will return!" Wulan chimed in.

"As far as you are" replied Janu Short.

"Well, how, Mai. When are you guys ready to go?"

Maira sighed. "Come, Ma'am. It's still hard to leave Hanin."

"Gini, deh, you talked to your parents first. You reassure your heart first, about ready not to leave Hanin a few days."

Maira nodded. "Yes, Mommy."

That night, as usual Janu did not want to sleep in the room with Maira. No matter how much Wulan insisted, Janu still chose to sleep alone in his old room. Maira again swallowed a sense of disappointment. But over time, that disappointment has become common. His heart began to numb from the pain that greeted him.

"It's okay, Mai. Trust me, Hanin is safe in mom's hands!" Miss Kusno assured. This morning he, Mr. Kusno and Karina deliberately visited the house of Bu Hartini. And like the scenario made with Wulan, they pretended not to know the idea that Wulan had thrown.

"Calm down, Ma'am, this is the most reliable assistant mom!" Karina patted his chest.

Maira sneers. "Pampered child like you instead of going after mom!'

"Oh, yeah, don't!"

"If Karina cheats on your mother, let it be you who intervenes!" Mr. Kusno joined the tour. Everyone laughed when they heard it.

Ms. Hartini stroked the shoulder of Maira who was sitting next to her. "Let's go help your kids, Mai. Who knows, through this endeavor Janu's memory will return."

"Well, everybody agrees, right, Mai?" Wulan stood before Maira and Janu sat down. "So, when do you think you're leaving?"

Maira looked at Janu. The man flinched. He did not react to any of their big family talk.

"Mas, are you ready to take me to Bandung?"

Janu. "Eitherway. I'm still confused."

Wulan sat down next to Janu. "Nu, look, you have your memory back?" ask her with a firm tone.

Janu nodded slowly.

"Well, then you have to get excited!" wulan. "Don't hesitate any more!"

Once again Janu nodded. "Alright," he answered briefly.

Two days later Maira and Janu are seen waiting for a train on the station platform. Janu still looks dazed. Look at his eyes floating around staring. The excitement of the passengers made it a little uncomfortable.

"Mas, the train is coming soon. Yuk, we're ready!"

Maira fixed a suitcase and a large bag. He was about to lift the bag onto the suitcase so that later it would be easier to carry it.

"Let me!" prevent Janu. He shook Maira's hand. He lifted the bag and put it on the suitcase.

Maira's stunned. Just this time she saw Janu's concern for her. Usually the man is more silent and busy with himself.

Train's coming. Thumping Janu's chest heard the friction of the train wheels with the rails. The sound was reminiscent of something I don't know what.

"We're riding, Mas!" take Maira while pulling Janu's hand.

The man followed Maira. While his one hand pulled the handle of his suitcase.

It didn't take long, they were already sitting in their seats inside the carriage. Maira deliberately told Janu to sit near the hallway of the carriage, while she sat by the window. He deliberately let Janu more freely interact with the surrounding situation. Evidently, Janu's eyes were so enthusiastic to see everything that happened. Passengers who were busy looking for his seat, train stewardesses who offered food, all did not escape Janu's attention.

Maira smiled at Janu several times as she was shocked, or frowned, or shifted her gaze quickly from one object to another.

Train departure. Janu threw his body into the back of the chair with a pias face. The man was nervous for a moment, but then calmed down.

"Want to drink coffee or eat, Mom?" tawar Maira's.

Janu. The man then closed his eyes.

Maira sighed and tightened her jacket. He closed his eyes like the man next to him.

Hopefully in Bandung we find a bright spot.
