REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2

REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2
THE MISSED WOMAN

"Allahuakbar Allahuakbar!"

The call of dawn made Janu flinch. Maira squirms awake. The corner of the woman's eyes caught a glimpse of Janu's hand being pulled quickly by the owner.

Maira closed her eyes again. One smile on his lips. Then after hearing Janu move up from the bed, he opened his eyes again and got up from his sleep.

"I'm sorry, Mom, I was here last night. You are very hard on me. I'm worried ...."

"It's okay," Janu cut off, while rushing out of the room.

This morning Maira plans to take Janu to the commander. He called the commander's mother last night. She then conveyed Maira's request to face her husband. And the commander accepted with open arms.

In the kitchen Maira prepared breakfast. The rest of the rice yesterday is still worth frying. In front of the stove Maira started to act. Spatulas and pans are blending together.

Sreng sreng sreng sreng sri.

Janu, who was sitting on the sofa in the living room, looked fixedly at the family photo on the television. There was Maira, Oza and a man in an army striped uniform who looked like him.

Janu sighed, laying his back against the back of the sofa. For a moment his eyes closed. His lips grinned, brows furrowed, like holding back fear.

The fragrant smell of Maira's cooking that rattled, distracting Janu. The man opened his eyes and got up from his seat. His footsteps were directed towards the kitchen.

On the doorstep of the kitchen Janu was stunned. She saw a woman who felt so familiar. Stand in front of the stove while holding a spatula. While her hair is tied up, leaving children hair that falls around the neck level and smooth.

Slowly Janu approached Maira. There was almost no distance between them. Janu can even smell Maira's body. The man closed his eyes.

Unknowingly Janu's face drew closer to Maira's nape. His lips almost touched the woman's neck. His breath was slightly hunting, sweeping the back of Maira's ears.

"Gee!" Maira was shocked. The woman turned her body back. There was Janu who blushed his face.

"M-sorry, I-I ....!" Janu.

Just now Janu was about to turn around, when Maira held back her arm.

"Don't deny it anymore, Mum!" Maira. "Let your memory be free. Re-express your memory. I'm sure, if you're sincere, your past memories will return soon!"

Janu. The man closed his eyes for a moment. Maira waited in fret.

Janu POV

I am so tired tonight. A lot of guests visited this house. None of them I know. But I have to act like I remember everything.

I feel sorry for that girl named Maira. I want to confirm all of his statements about that we are actually husband and wife. But I couldn't. There is not a single memory of him. And Bertha, my whole head was filled with memories of that good girl.

"Aaagh ..," Bertha said at the time, while we were still at the Papua airport. He pulled my hand and placed it on his stomach. The stomach is no longer flat.

I knew he was going to say something about his stomach. But I couldn't ask him more. Seeing Bertha's growing belly, I thought she was pregnant.

My boy?

Where is that girl now?

I went out of the room. I saw that woman sleeping on the couch. He immediately got up and lowered his legs.

"Sit here if you're not sleepy, Mas!" His hands patted the sofa.

I went and sat down next to the girl.

"Capek, huh?" tanyakanya.

I'm nodding. My eyes were fixed on the lighted television screen.

"Of all the people who visited this afternoon, does one of them remember?" He asked again.

I looked at his hopeful face. I was actually afraid of disappointing him. But I can't say anything but, "No."

He sighed. Now we are both glued to the television screen. I don't care what's on there. My mind floated on Bertha.

"Tonight, you still want to sleep separately from me, Mom?" ask the woman carefully.

I'm termangu. "Sorry, I ...."

"It's okay. I will be able to sleep in Oza's room" he said quickly.

I finally went back to sleep by myself tonight. It's not like I want to disappoint that woman. But I really can't if I have to sleep with him. Especially since I felt like he was a stranger to me.

Tired all day makes me fall asleep immediately.

In a green and shady meadow, we were chatting together. Bertha feda to me with a laugh. His voice is crisp and makes me happy.

Kuelus her distended stomach. Kissed repeatedly. Bertha laughed again.

Suddenly Bertha's stomach moved. I felt something stirring in it. I'm receding backwards. I looked at Bertha's face which was now stiff with no expression. His laughter suddenly disappeared, changing the sound of a shrill that came out of nowhere.

"Goddessa ...!"

My eyes bought as the stomach slowly split. Out of it came a creepy creature. His head was bare, eyes bulging, mouth open. From inside the mouth protrudes the red tongue. Blood droplets flowed from between his canine teeth.

"Guwaa ...!!!" my peek.

The creature's mouth moved. Then a hoarse voice came out. "Yeah ...!"

"No, no, noooo ...!" I screamed hysterically. The creature called me 'father', making me even more shudder in horror.

And I grew more and more guts when I saw that thing already looked all over. It is shaped like an octopus with many arms. He moved with his arms as a pedestal. Closer, and closer to me.

"SAFA ...!"

I ran backwards while constantly screaming in fear, away from the creature. Suddenly my feet hit something. And I almost fell.

Someone caught my body. "It's okay, it's okay, calm down!" pacified me.

I fell in his arms. I turned my face and I saw that she was that woman, Maira. He smiled gently as he continued stroking my head.

"It's okay, relax, calm down!"

Her soft voice made me feel sleepy. Then I closed my eyes and drowned in a very deep sleep

I woke up when my hands felt hugging something soft and soft. I opened my eyes and was immediately surprised to see what was in front of me. Immediately I pulled the hand that was hugging the body. And I hurried up from sleep, sitting on the edge of the bed.

That woman, since when was she here?

For a moment he squirmed, then continued his sleep.

My eyes looked at that figure. Suddenly my heart pounded when I saw his face. The face looked peaceful with eyes tightly closed, lips tightly clenched. His nose seemed to let out a smooth breath. Pink lips look a little smiling. While the children's hair fell wildly on his cheeks and forehead.

Unknowingly my hand moved outstretchedly about to touch his face.

Adzan's voice made me realize. Immediately I pulled my hand back and rushed up from the bed. I still heard her apology for sleeping in this room.

"It's okay!" my sergeant quickly while leaving the room.

This morning after taking a shower I sat on the sofa in the living room. My eyes were fixed on the family photo on the wall. I want to believe that the one in uniform in the picture is me. But how could it be, while there is not the slightest memory of all that.

I put my back on the couch. For a moment I remembered last night's creepy dream. It feels so real and scary.

The smell of cooking from the kitchen makes me hungry. I cannot refuse desire. I got up and walked into the kitchen.

But in the doorway my heart was pounding again. The figure standing in front of the stove seemed familiar to me. I don't know what made me step closer to him. Everything goes so fast. Without me noticing I was about to kiss his back neck, if only he hadn't turned around immediately and screamed stifled.

"M-sorry, I-I ....!" kataku. My face is warming. I almost turned around to leave him as he held my arm.

"Don't deny it anymore, Mum!" firmly that woman. "Let your memory be free. Re-express your memory. I'm sure, if you're sincere, your past memories will return soon!"

I'm stunned.

Single-minded? Was it true that all this time I did not sincerely let my lost memories come back?

For a moment I closed my eyes. I inhaled the air deeply and released it slowly. When I opened my eyes again, I stared at the face.

"Mas ...," he said restrained.

It's like a movie slide on your head. A woman in a sky blue uniform with a distended stomach, leading the curly-haired boy. The woman shed tears, letting go of my departure to the place of duty.

"Be careful, Mas" he said at the time with a hoarse voice holding back tears.

That woman, Maira, who was standing in front of me with a sad face.

"Ma-i-ra," sneered.

His lips twitched, saying the word. "Yes, Mas, I'm your Maira."

I don't know what kind of strength then makes me embrace the body in the arms. I miss him so much, miss him so much.

"Maira," I whispered again in her ear.

He sniffled in my arms.

"Maira, oh, Maira." The more I hold. I mentioned his name many times.

I let go of the embrace, I looked at him carefully. He who was now teary-eyed, yet there was a happy twinkle on his face.

Kuciumi that face. His forehead, his eyes, his cheeks, his lips. I really miss him.

"Maye ... Maira ... Maira ...!"
