REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2

REPLACEMENT MEN Season 2
HAPPY IN THE MIDST OF THE WOUND

...I am a rock. Although the waves hit without pause, I will still survive without deterrence....

...(.(.Maira's)...

During the two days at Bu Kusno's house, Janu's memory condition has not made any significant progress. But the man was no longer stiff facing all family members. He could already joke around with Oza and Hanin. He even began to talk incoherently with his in-laws even with limited sentences. But strangely, with Maira Janu actually looks a little careless. He did not want to sleep in the room with his wife.

This morning Maira served tea and boiled cassava to her father and Janu. They sit on the front porch. Mr. Kusno looked ready to go to work, while Janu as usual just sat there. The front porch is the man's favorite place since returning home Mr. Kusno.

"You'd better take Janu nginep to your in-laws' house, Mai!" proposed Mr. Kusno.

Maira looked at Janu. The man was still just like a moment ago, staring blankly ahead.

"Mumpung Oza tomorrow is also a holiday," continued Mr. Kusno.

"Yes, Sir. God willing I will take you there. All of you want to stop by the pilgrimage also to the tomb of Mas Galang."

"Oh yeah, that's good. Who knows Janu remembered something there later."

Maira took a cup of tea and gave it to her husband. "Mas, this is the tea!"

Janu. The man was rather nervous about receiving the cup from Maira's hand. With a quick movement he drank the still hot tea. As a result, he gasped because his tongue was burning.

"Be careful, Mas, it's still hot!" Maira immediately took the cup. He then wiped the remaining water splashed around Janu's mouth and chest.

"Father go first, yes!" pamit pak Kusno standing up. "Where's your mom?"

"Oh, inside, sir. Wait, yeah!" Maira got up and walked into the house.

Meanwhile Janu was still stunned. He stared at the back of the woman who momentarily wiped Janu's lips with his soft hands.

Is she really my wife? Where are all my memories of that woman?

Ah, but Bertha ....

Janu rubbed his face with the palm of his hand.

By noon Maira began packing. He put a few pieces of their change of clothes in the bag. The plan this afternoon after Oza came home from school, they were going to leave for Bu Hartini's house. Some time ago he contacted his father-in-law and said he would stay there. Of course Ms. Hartini was happy to hear that.

In the afternoon they leave. Maira drives the car, while Janu sits next to her while holding Hanin. Oza sat in the middle seat. From the start of the journey, the boy could not be silent. There's just something to say. Typical noisy kids, crisp sounding.

Every now and then Maira smiled at Oza's chatter. Janu was like that too. Sometimes he was forced to hide a smile on the back of Hanin's head that he held.

"Oza, not tired of what, talking directly from earlier?" scolds Maira.

"Mother is how, anyway. I told you this much so you could remember!" The child advances the body between the driver's seat and the passenger next to it. Then he looked at Janu. "Well, isn't it, Dad?"

Once again Janu just smiled knot.

Maira turned the car into the cemetery. Before Oza asked, Maira had already explained. "We stopped by to see Galang's father first huh, Za!"

"Ready, Boss!" sahut Oza is excited. Then until Maira finished parking the car, Oza's story about Galang flowed to Janu.

"Already, already, let's go down first!" maira concluded on Oza babble.

The four of them got out of the car. Janu was still holding Hanin. But then Maira immediately took over.

"Mas, we're on a pilgrimage to Galang's tomb, yes."

Janu nodded. The story of Galang, his sister who is also Maira's first husband, has often been heard. But still until this moment he could not remember.

Oza grabbed Janu's arm. The two of them followed Maira's steps, entering the burial area.

In front of Galang's headstone, Maira sat down. Hanin looked calm on his lap. While Janu and Oza followed, sitting to the left right of Maira.

After praying for the late Galang, Oza began to clean up his father's tomb. Laced with weeds around the gravestone.

"Dad, Janu's father has met" said the boy. "But Janu's father doesn't remember Oza, mother and sister Hanin."

Maira and Janu noticed Oza's words. Janu then also plucked the grass, like Oza.

Janu nodded awkwardly.

Maira let out a heavy breath. "Oza, when it's over we go back to the car, yeah!' said it. "Pity Hanin's getting hot."

"Yes, Mother, a little more."

Moments later they completed their grave pilgrimage. The four of them returned to the car and sat in their own places.

"Was Galang ever been close to me?" suddenly Janu asked.

Maira who sat behind the steering wheel was stunned. He then looked at Janu. "I used to know Janu rarely came home. We meet Janu once a year in Lebaran. They rarely communicate by phone. So, I don't really know if you guys are close or not."

Actually Maira wants to re-examine the story of Janu who hid his love for him even though he was married to Galang. But the existence of children makes it have to withstand words.

Janu just nodded his head with a straight forward gaze. Her hands tightly hugged baby Hanin in her lap.

After sighing, Maira started to step on the gas. The car again drove across the village road, towards Bu Hartini's house.

Arriving in front of the spacious joglo house, Janu termangu. Suddenly he felt familiar with the place. He then went down while carrying Hanin.

Maira hurriedly followed her down. He's circling the car, heading to Janu's. Taken over Hanin from Janu's sling.

"Mas remember something?" maira asked to see Janu's eyes could not be separated from the joglo house in front of them.

Janu did not answer. His eyes are still attached to the old building but still unpretentious.

While Oza was already running in while shouting calling out his eyes. Before long, the old woman with glasses came out. A smile welcomes the child and his family. Oza looked behind.

"Januuu .., Masyaallah, be healthy you, Lee ...!" Ms. Hartini rushed straight towards Janu. Hugged the man.

Janu clumsily raised his hand, returning Bu Hartini's embrace. Just momentary. Then he took his hand off Bu Hartini's back.

"I'm your mother yes, Leee .." lamented Ms. Hartini. A faint despairing tone was in his voice.

Maira stroked Bu Hartini's arm. It was as if he was about to say that his mother-in-law was patient.

Then they entered the house. Bu Hartini now takes over Hanin from Maira's sling. The sadness that a moment ago was present because seeing the reality of the boy can not remember, is now treated by the laughter of Hanin.

"You eat first. I've cooked your favorite anointing, Mai. Also Janu's favorite fish soup. There's fried chicken flour for Oza, too."

Maira looked at Janu. "Will you eat now?"

The man nodded without a sound.

"Later in the afternoon?"

Janu nodded.

"If Oza?" Maira turns to her son who is busy joking with Hanin and Bu Hartini. "Daza!" reset Maira.

"Yes, Bun?" Oza.

"Would you eat now what?"

"Later with dad."

A mouthful of happiness loomed sweetly between the wounds. Seeing the laughter of the children and his eyes made Maira smile. Especially when he secretly noticed Janu. The man also looked at the smile on his lips. Oza, Hanin and Bu Hartini's outcry makes Janu look happy.

May all these trials pass soon, Mas ....
