Can I Kill You?

Can I Kill You?
Part 14 - Banquet

Eating together would be fun if the vampires were not present. Is correct. It would be a thousand times more fun if I ate alone.

Seeing that I was not in shock, Georgia blushed her tongue and chose a seat that was a fair distance away from the two of us. He joins the other vampires and starts chatting. Funny, he was breathing and speaking normally as if he had no sin against me.

Georgia did not take her food, perhaps choosing to wait for another, as did Calvin. I who knew it ended up just choosing to lean my body on the table.

Unlike the two men, the funny thing is Ella chose to stay silent and not take food. To be honest, I was actually a little upset that he did not choose a seat next to me because obviously I was his fiancee.

However, since Georgia is her former fiancee—which they must have known for a long time, I chose to budge.

After all, our relationship is not a romantic relationship like a fairy tale. There will be no melodious singing to celebrate our meeting or a happy ending to close my and Ella's story.

We are only bound by political interests, and a promise that will both end our lives.

The longer I looked at her face, the more rigid her face looked like a mask. Not that I care. It only feels lazy if he gives a strange reason when caught alone with Georgia.

"A cheating man, isn't he?" calvin's whispers made me turn automatically. "But yesterday he was willing to do the tradition. See what he's doing now?"

I shrugged and whispered while closing my mouth from the two of them. "You're right, anyway. But I'm more surprised to see you like I expected this."

Calvin's face was red. "Listen, yeah, Barbie. I've known her since the baby. And that's how he is!"

"Ew, I thought vampires were more loyal" I commented as I stuck out my tongue. Calvin was half grimacing. "Oh, of course it's me."

I rolled my eyes, still Calvin flaunting his noble nature.

Time went on for a long time, and the two seats next to me and the middle were still empty. I'm getting hungry. I was sure that the food in front of me was getting cold, and unfortunately, no one was going to take any food.

My instincts say no one would take food if these two people still hadn't come. My stomach is already ringing, so bodo is very. Slowly but surely, I grabbed one of the loaves in the basket. However, before that, a blade as fast as an arrow shot before me, almost piercing my wrist if I did not get out of the way quickly.

"Barbie!" Calvin pulled my hand and held me back to sit down. Georgia grinned with her lipstick that was too red.

"Didn't you see?" georgia said in a mocking tone. "Everyone here is hungry too, but they're all trying to hold him back."

No one spoke up, even Ella was silent even though she always stood up for me. I bite my lips. This is how I asked for food in my room and spent it alone.

"And you" he stood and pointed his finger at me. "only a man who does not know manners dare to take food before the queen comes! What a huge insult!"

All applauded with pride at Georgia's assertiveness. I'm not impressed at all. The way it reminds me is like the way a human reminds a snake not to bite. Hardness.

I chose to shut up and pretend to feel guilty. "I'm sorry."

"Not to apologize. You're just a bunch of people anyway, what else?"

The sound of laughter filled the room this time. My eyes turned around to see who was laughing at me. Most men, and women present prefer to keep their mouths shut.

Calvin did not clap and laugh. She focused on seeing Ella leaning her hands against us, making me curious.

Without any warning, he threw one of the knives directly at Ella's head, but the attack missed because Georgia pulled him over with her claws. Another vampire stood up from his seat, whispering why Calvin was doing this.

On the other hand, Ella did not comment on anything, which I found very suspicious. I asked Calvin, "What are you doing?"

"Aren't you aware of Barbie?" his gaze had already defeated the black lion by now. "Mika is not what she used to be. Obviously it wasn't her."

"What do you mean?"

"Calvin!" Our chatter was interrupted by the screeches of Georgia. "What are you doing, damn it?!"

Georgia's hair is flushed again. Oh, naw. I don't want to repeat last night. The wound in front of my chest pulsed. Of course it hasn't recovered.

"You yourself, what are you doing, Georgia? You know who Mika's fiance is now, right?"

"Shut up!" He pulls Ella's arm which still remains expressionless. "He said it was just a set. The man forced her. Is that right, isn't it?"

Ella who turned to him nodded and agreed. My chest is throbbing pain.

There was a lot of "Huuuuu!" of the vampires. They were all defending Georgia and getting ready in front of her. I realized that my existence is really hated here. I hate them myself, and they, who have always been my nightmares, do not deserve this.

Orders, "Let's just kill it!" it sounds clear in my ears. I grinned. You can kill me, I'm not afraid at all. In fact, I feel very challenged by your insults.

When I was ready to grab all the knives near me, a very loud voice echoed behind me. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Back to my eyes back. My ears are very much familiar with that terrible and horrible shrill voice. Yes, the same voice as the creepy woman and not at all wrinkled me in front of her. The queen!

"When I thought we were going to eat together quietly... Is this your reply, Barbie?"

The queen should have realized that I was clearly outnumbered here. Her name is also queen. The queen is always right. All the knives I held down and bowed respectfully. "I'm sorry. Your Queen."

I'm sure there won't be any words more powerful than an apology, let alone an old woman (forgive me). Seeing the events of yesterday as well, surely if I tried desperately to defend myself, a slap was no longer a dream to give me.

"Queen's Face. Greetings respectfully" said Calvin, bowing his body and placing his hands in front of his chest, followed by the rest of the dining room.

"Queen..." Georgia pretended to cry. "Just now, Barbie's almost there..."

A dagger floated right towards Ella's head and made her collapse. I almost squealed, and Georgia gasped in panic. Calvin is shocked and widens his eyes, while the other vampires have no idea what to react to but open their mouths wide.

Wait, Ella... Been killed?
