My head was hit by a giant hammer. A galaxy-like glint swirled in my eyes, breaking my consciousness many times. My whole body is about to explode.
Before all that happened, my eyes opened. My forehead was filled with sweat. My breath is irregular. The unfamiliar ceiling made me even more panicked. I was about to move, but my body was not obedient.
"You're finally awake too."
My eyes turned to the left. Mikaela's Voice. As his feet stepped, I moved my legs, about to dodge. But what power, the bandage that was lining my chest still had not overcome the raining pain. I groaned again, and he said in the softest tone possible. "Don't move. Your wounds can open again."
I went back to breaking down my body and put my treated hand over my head. "Since when have vampires cared about humans?"
A smile flashed on her lips as red as her clothes. "Either. Does it exist?"
The corner of my lips raise the side in response to his joke. My breath returned to my senses after my consciousness had returned for a long time. I realized he saw me weak. Damnit. I never thought something like this would happen, even before I killed him.
"By the way, where is this?" My eyes looked back at all the red furniture, and what astonished me most was the giant window that was left open on my left. This situation is not foreign.
"My room.”
Okay. I need to be calm and not be emotionally disturbed. "And how did I get to your room?"
"The story is long." Again he answered short.
"Tell me." My fists hardened hearing his indifferent speech. "I'm not going to kill you."
Mikaela grimaced as she shifted her gaze. "There's so. Do you remember the incident before fainting?"
My mouth's propping. Of course I remember it. How not? That was the most horrible moment I've ever had in my entire life.
......................
"You..."
The blue glow kept barking, something I had never seen before because all this time I kept hiding it under my clothes. I tried to hide it, but the light broke through the slit of my fingers.
The queen looked at the woman beside me. "Kate, don't tell me this?"
The one named Kate nodded with a serious look on her face. "Yes. The queen is not wrong anymore."
Again the Queen threw her eyes in my eyes. "Where did you get that thing?"
The queen's rosy eyes were so calm and cold, as if hiding all her feelings from me, a human. I answered calmly to his question. "I don't remember."
A successful slap landed on my cheek. My body reacted late and remained frozen. Kate was shocked too, but she had no intention of stopping the queen.Suddenly, my whole body trembled again.
"Take me seriously. Where'd you get it?" The queen was still not satisfied, and her countenance still remained expressionless cold.
Anger rules me. "I told you, I don't remember!"
The same slap landed on my cheek that was still flushed. Maddened. Kate was frozen in place. Why is my hair standing up just because of a slap?
"I think it's enough, ma'am." Mikaela came quietly, holding her mother's hand to continue slapping her again. "He doesn't remember."
"Mica... Who is this woman?” The Queen's canine teeth revealed her presence as her emotions rose.
"He's my fiancee. Today the human princess came to the castle. You don't remember?"
Everyone was still not moving from his place, engrossed in watching the conversations of the royal family that they would probably not see in a lifetime. I took a step back and sheathed my dagger back. I see the blood on my chest still hasn't stopped dripping. Pimply.
"This woman? She's princess?" His high tone seemed to mock me. "Oh, jeez! Yep. I recall. Today they're sending one of their daughters to us."
Georgia, who had been looking crazy, suddenly regained consciousness after the light from my necklace stopped shining. His empty eyes lit up again, ready to attack me once more.
"Damn it! Be prepared to be human!"
The Queen was shocked as if she had just seen Georgia today. "Wait, what happened to Georgia?!"
"Don't you say the Queen loves Georgia so much?" I whispered to Kate. He looked surprised to see me dare to ask him in front of the Queen. "It looks like your locket is more important than Georgia herself."
"Do you know what this is?"
Kate growling. "Sori. It seems like this is not the time for us to talk. I have to keep Georgia from attacking you again."
My lips rounded. "You? Protecting me?"
With a quick movement, Kate put up the horses to protect me. Georgia is shocked to see Kate in front of her blocking her attack. "Surge, Kate! I have to kill that woman!"
The Queen was still panicking with her own world. "Really, what happened to Georgia? You hurt her!"
Mikaela did not answer the question from the Queen and she stood beside me. "Resert. Georgia is on the verge."
My eyes briefly glanced at him, but I did not move from where I was standing. It seems this was outside of his wedding.
An increasingly angry Georgia sharpened its claws. Fire emerged from her reddish hair that became curls, making it look like a living fire. All the guests began to shout in amazement, not caring about the possibility that Georgia would attack them.
Just when I thought Georgia was ready to jump in to attack Kate, her body disappeared quickly. Everyone was no exception I panicked, and my panic peaked when I saw that his claws were already about to tear my face.
"Barbie!"
That was the last scream I remember. After that, everything was suddenly silent and dark.
......................
I returned to touch my face. No injuries are visible. Back I breathe a sigh of relief. It seems like death is still not interested in picking me up.
"You suck when paired with your fiancee. You're crazy, but he's crazy."
"What is it?" He scratched awkwardly at his white hair that was beginning to get wet with sweat. The sweat I just realized after the moon didn't hide behind the clouds. "Maybe your feelings."
His increasingly hoarse voice made my suspicion number rise. What the hell happened to him? And as if to answer my question, this time he spewed out a red liquid that I knew so well. I automatically exclaimed, "You... What's going on?!"
"It seems like I haven't used my powers for a long time, this is how it turned out," he explained, and clearly, his voice was getting ear-splitting from coughing up blood.
My heart is beating ungodly. It's a good time to kill him. If I kill him, this sense of dizziness in the head must be gone.
My hands are clenched, hardened, but not with my mouth.
"Hey, hangin!"
My body did not stop shaking when I just sat still. A strange taste spread, almost overpowering me, and automatically a sentence slid from my lips.
"Why didn't you tell your servants?!" No, these are not the words I want to say. It's not me at all.
It seemed that he did not care much about my call. Instead of agreeing, Mikaela sparked the idea that I thought was the most terrifying while holding my hand.
"I want your blood."
