A SPECK OF LIGHT (Handle of Good-Loving Love)
14. Misunderstand

"Sir, why is he early in the morning at our house?" ask the soldier in the kitchen.

"Oh, Mentari? yes, just stopped by to give me vegetables for us. Your sister poured it onto the plate. I'm going to the market again."

Soldiers were about to protest but her brother had left on his motorcycle. Because the stomach is hungry, finally eat vegetables given Mentari's.

After that, he washed the dishes and went back to the market after Hana.

"Why is it still here?" ask Soldier when he just came out of the house to see Mentari still sitting on the porch of his house.

"I'm waiting for you, As."

Soldier frowned. "Wait on? what's the matter?"

"I'm nebeng huh? it's the same way my workplace."

This is what he doesn't want. But how could you let the Mentari themselves here are on their way one way.

"Yes already."

Along the way the Soldiers only silent or occasionally respond to what Mentari said.

"Still, As." said Mentari and nod in response to Soldier.

When his motorbike was about to enter the highway, he was surprised by someone who was smiling at him.

But not a smile of hospitality. He knew it was a smile.

Damnit damnit!

Planned to chase but was already far behind. He took his motorcycle to Joseph's father's house. In a hurry he stopped his motorbike right in front of Joseph's father's house.

Repeatedly knocking and saying hello but there was no answer. Soldier ruffled his hair. If Adzilla believed more in what he saw than his explanation then he really cursed the self that did not have the heart to others.

Intentions rarely visit Adzilla because they want to make sure he really has fallen in love with Adzilla or just an obsession and his sales can not stay.

So long waiting but no occupants of the house were seen, Soldiers chose to return to the Market with uncertain uneasiness.

...****...

The night after the Maghrib prayer at the Mosque not far from Adzilla's house, Soldiers ventured to Joseph's father's house.

As usual, when he came this time, Adzilla must have opened the door with a face covering the woman's head. After saying his greetings and being sent in, Soldiers chose to sit down.

He smiled as Adzilla walked up to him with a glass of tea and placed it in front of him.

"What's up, As?"

Sighs at the cold gaze of Adzilla. He already suspected this. "Kangen same prospective wife and children. Where are they, brother?"

"Go with dad."

"Sister, what you saw was a misunderstanding. Mentari just hitchhiking, no more."

...****...

Adzilla looked at Soldier closely. Lie if there is no jealousy, but it feels like the feeling is gone before it develops.

"That's your right, As. We have no ties whatsoever. Not that I've told you, you better find a younger one and still a girl?"

"My feelings are very sincere to you, brother. I purposely stayed away from you guys because I wanted to ascertain my own feelings. It turns out that my heart is right, I love you and love the children."

No more answers from Adzilla's mouth. Because he doesn't know what to do. On the one hand he was very happy, but on the one hand he was very afraid to step with Soldiers.

"I'm sorry" he said.

"I'm the one who's sorry. Don't misunderstand me again, will you?"

Adzilla nodded and invited Soldiers to drink the tea that had been served.

"Don't why chat me again, brother."

Adzilla smiled and nodded. Indeed, as long as Soldier knows his mobile number and diligently send messages to him. However, Adzilla rarely responded even though he always smiled happily every time he read the contents of the message from Soldiers.

...****...

As the day passed, Adzilla heard everything the soldiers did every day.

It seems like it has become their routine if late. Before going to bed, Soldier would call Adzilla and tell her what had happened to her as well as Adzilla.

Including several times Askar told if Mentari several times often came to him in the sales field

Adzilla did respond normally but no one knew if his heart held the pain.

"Tomorrow would I bring you what kebabs?"

"It's normal."

"okay."

...****...

Tomorrow night, not the kebab that came but the seller came to pick up Adzilla. Luckily, Adzilla's two sons had fallen asleep and Joseph's father had allowed them to leave.

Adzilla's arrival made the three Soldiers' friends cheer.

"Go public huh, bang?" sindir Reza made Soldier chuckle while glancing at Adzilla squeezing the side of the game.

Soldiers know that Adzilla is uncomfortable at this time because of the treatment of her friends. "Sister is sitting here, yes." cried Askar let Adzilla sit on the back of his sales cart.

"Thank you."

Soldier nodded and went to the minimarket across the street to buy drinks and snacks for Adzilla.

...***...

"Askar, this is excessive." Adzilla reprimanded when Askar handed over a plastic bag with the minimarket logo.

"It won't be much, later if we're married there will be more." Soldier squinted one eye intending to tease Adzilla but then grimaced as a result of Adzilla's pinch on her arm.

"I haven't answered anything, As."

"Alright, let me work now so I can maharin brother." Soldiers just passed by while Adzilla could only shake his head to see the behavior of Soldiers.

Adzilla watched with a smile at the shrewdness of Soldier's hand. The hand was so deftly making kebabs and burgers at the same time.

Hospitality to everyone is a plus for food businesses like Askar. He also admitted that the soldiers understood him very well. But, what if the Soldier does not like her after marrying her, later?

The night was getting late until Soldiers closed. Adzilla absolutely no one reprimands that he is very bored. He really enjoyed his company with the soldiers.

"Come, brother."
