I thought about the implications of this. If I want to go back to being human, it means that I have to sacrifice the soul of the Chosen One. But that's not possible for me to do. I can't sacrifice Roland. It will never!
But if I remain a vampire, then my biggest dream of getting old together with Roland will be dashed. Why does life endlessly play tricks on me. My soul screams at this thought.
"The food is ready" said Leda surprised me.
I turned to him and saw that he had prepared food and a cup of hot coffee on a tray. He handed the tray to me.
"Bring up!" she said with a soft tone.
I took the tray and turned to go to my room. Leda's voice stopped my steps.
"Scarlett," he said gently.
I turned and faced him. I saw a worried look in his eyes.
"You know, I always wanted you to live happily" she said with teary eyes.
His words made me want to cry. I bit my lips and just nodded without saying a word.
"I hope you can be happy with Roland" he added.
"Don't make me cry this early, Leda!" I said while holding back my tears.
He cares about me so much.
"I'm going to deliver this to Roland" I said.
Leda nodded towards me.
I walked into the room with mixed feelings. What if Roland knew one day that he had a privilege flowing in his blood?
I shook my head slowly. No, Roland mustn't know about this. I don't want Roland to sacrifice for me.
I entered my room and saw her staring at me with her dazzling smile.
I walked over to him and placed the tray on the table that was beside my bed.
I took some food and tried to feed it.
"Come, eat!" I said as I thrust a spoonful of food into his mouth.
"Let me eat alone" he said, laughing.
"Can't!" I cried and insisted on bribing him.
He obeyed my orders and let me bribe him. After he finished eating, he told me to lie down next to him.
I got on top of my bed and put my head on her chest. It was my favorite position to be with him. Because that way, I can feel his heartbeat that always beats faster every time it touches me.
I felt Roland's hand gently caress my hair. I enjoyed it so much. It always made me feel calm and comfortable.
"Scarlett," he said gently.
I looked up at him. He rubbed my cheek gently with his hand.
"You know, last night I was really scared of losing you" she said.
I smiled hearing his words. I put his head back on his chest. This time it felt stronger.
I gulped down feeling that my body was as if responding to Roland's heartbeat starting to race.
Suddenly Roland turned around and placed me under him. His hand traced my cheek. I saw his eyes that were beginning to be filled with passion.
"You always drive me crazy" he whispered in my ear.
He buried his face in the curve of my neck and showered me with his kisses.
I hugged him and grabbed his back. I arched my body which had been filled with a cold hot sensation from Roland's hand touch.
I groaned and said his name. We are both united in the heat of the fire of love and passion.
An hour later, he collapsed on top of me with a hunting breath. I still hugged him tightly as if I didn't want to get away from him.
"Scarlett, you want to go out with me?" Ask.
"Of course" I said with pleasure.
Roland kissed my forehead from rising from above my body. He went to the bathroom to clean himself up.
A few minutes later I saw her coming out of the bathroom with the smell of soap in the air. He looks healthy and fit again.
I got up from my bed feeling heavy. To be honest I still want to be with Roland here. But the idea of taking a walk with him also sounds exciting.
I rushed to the bathroom to clean myself up. After you finish changing clothes. I stood in front of him.
"Do I look beautiful?" ask me with a spoiled tone.
"Nobody can match your beauty" she said with eyes filled with admiration.
We both walked out of the room together. Arriving at the bottom, I told Leda that me and Roland wanted to find a fresh breeze.
"Be careful" Leda told me.
I nodded to reassure her that I would be fine.
"Take him." This time Leda said it to Roland.
"Surely," Roland replied.
We both drove Roland's car.
"Where do you want to go?" tanyakanya.
"I love the beach" I said.
"Alright," he said as he drove towards the beach.
A few minutes later we both reached the beach. The weather that day looked cloudy and cold. L like it.
We both got out of the car. Roland took my hand and walked beside me along the coastline.
The breeze stroked my hair. We both look like a pair of people who are drunk with romance.
Suddenly a drizzle descended and a flash of lightning appeared in the sky. Roland and I ran towards a small building at the end to take shelter.
Roland and I went up to the terrace of the building. The building looks empty. Maybe this is a house to sell food and drinks. But that day seems to be closing.
We both stood looking at the sky that was beginning to darken. The sound of thunder was deafening my ears. The rain is falling more and more.
I saw Roland looking cold.
"You look cold" I said worriedly.
"It's okay" he said, calming himself down and patting me on the shoulder.
We were both shocked when we heard the sound of the door creaking. Roland and I turned to the front door of the house. There was a grown woman who stepped out and looked at us both. He was tall and slender with brownish skin and faint frown lines at the corners of his eyes and lips. Her hair is shiny black. Her hair was neatly curled.
"We both hitchhiked here to shelter" Roland said.
The woman did not answer but rather stared fixedly at me and Roland in turn.
"Sorry, are we bothering you?" I asked with worry.
He still did not say a word, but walked closer to us with a gaze that seemed locked on the two of us.
I felt Roland stiffen beside me. I stood on my guard and I was sure Roland felt the same way as me.
The woman stopped within a meter in front of us. He was still staring fixedly at me and Roland. I shuddered when I looked into his eyes.
"No way," he whispered.
Roland and I stood waiting for what he said.
"One is a pure vampire and the other is a Chosen One" he said, pointing at me and Roland in turn.
The sound of lightning roared and added to the tension within me.
