My body stiffened at the sight that was plastered in front there. I felt Roland and Damon feel the same way as me.

"Leda! Erick!" call me in panic.

They both heard my voice.

"Scarlett, I know you're coming" said Leda, smiling weakly.

Roland and Damon paid him no heed.

"That means you'll be stuck here forever!" This time his laughter grew louder until his fangs appeared.

"I'll take them home." I said it firmly.

The Dark God's laughter suddenly stopped and he stared intently at me.

"Don't think that you can get away from me, honey!" he said while grabbing my chin. "I've been waiting for thousands of years to be with you."

"I don't want to live with a creature like you!" This time I said it in a loud voice.

His face turned dark. I saw the fire in it as if it was burning brighter. I gulped realizing that my opponent this time was the Dark God.

I never imagined I would fight it. Even all immortal beings always obeyed his orders. My toughest opponent all this time was Victor. But this time my opponent is a figure that even I myself am not sure if I can survive from.

"What did you do to Leda and Erick?" I asked with a trembling voice holding back the anger.

The Dark God laughed at the question. I felt my anger burning inside me.

"You always care about others too much" he said, laughing at me.

"I will protect all that I care about" I said with my jaws stiffened with emotion.

"Don't forget to protect yourself too, dear." This time he said it in earnest.

I'm grinding my jaw.

"In a moment you will be my queen, I can't wait to have you!" He said it as he moved his face closer to me.

I still stood in front of Roland and did not answer him.

I stared at Damon hoping he could understand my plan. While I still hold Roland's hand on my shoulder.

"I warn you, don't intend to play me!" The Dark God threatened me.

I stared fixedly at the Dark God.

"Let them go!" This time I ordered with an urgent tone.

"I don't trust you!" The God of Darkness gripped my chin.

Roland moved forwards and kicked the Dark God right in his stomach. The kick made him stagger back.

"Don't touch it!" Roland shouted towards her.

The Dark God looked towards Roland with a deadly gaze. I saw the fire in his eyes. He was about to attack Roland with fire coming from his eyes.

I immediately jumped between the two of them and blocked the Dark God. It was fortunate that I moved at the right time to block Roland from his attack.

The flames aimed towards Roland hit me. I felt myself burning.

"NOOOO!" Roland screamed and moved towards me.
