The three of us stared at each other to make a determination. I nodded towards Roland and Damon to convince the two of them that I would be fine. We'll be fine.
I stared at my hand holding a small trumpet Aldrin gave me. I grasped it tightly as if it was capable of giving me strength.
I explained to Roland and Damon the way to enter the dark palace where the Dark Lord was.
I took the two of them to my personal library. For me, it would be more convenient if we performed this ritual in that room. I felt much calmer in this library. This room is my favorite room.
"We have to draw a star with six corners in which there is a circle." I explained it to them while pointing towards the floor.
They both looked towards the floor I pointed at.
"After the drawing is complete, we must stand within the circle at the right angle of the star." I continued my explanation.
Roland and Damon looked at me with serious eyes.
I took a stick of chalk and incense and some candles to prepare for this ritual. The Dark Gods Palace could only be entered in this way.
"Are you sure this is safe?" Ask Damon.
I nodded towards him while handing over incense and candles.
I immediately drew a large circle in which there was a six-pointed star. Roland and Damon were watching me closely.
"Damon, put the hood right in the middle of the circle" I said.
"Put the candle in every corner of the star and light it up" I told Roland.
Damon and Roland did as I told them.
After I checked that everything was ready, I let out a long sigh and stared alternately at Roland and Damon.
"Everything is ready" I said, nodding reassuringly to them.
"How do we get back here?" Roland asked me.
I was silent for a long time and thought about how I would explain to them that the journey to the Dark Palace was a one-way trip.
I looked at the two of them in turn.
"Roland, Damon, you two should stay here to keep the candle flame from going out. I will go there alone," I said in a soft voice.
"WHAT?" Roland and Damon simultaneously said that.
I saw Roland staring in disbelief at me.
"Are we not going together?" Roland held my shoulder.
I was silent and did not dare to look at his face.
"No, you two should stay here." I said it while holding back my tears from spilling.
The fact that I have not revealed to the two of them is that I do not wish to take them both to such a dangerous place as I am about to go at this time.
"I have to go alone" I whispered.
"You think I'm gonna let you go into danger alone?" Roland almost shouted while shaking my shoulder.
I dare to look at him. How could I possibly bring him into danger? No, I will not bring Roland into danger. The Dark God is no match for him.
"Roland, I .. "my voice was choked.
I shook my head at him.
"I'll go with you with or without your permission!" roland said with a firm tone.
"I can't possibly bring you into danger!" This time I almost screamed at him.
"You think I'm gonna let you plunge into danger alone?" Roland shouted back.
"I have to rescue Leda and Erick immediately" I said softly.
Roland shook his head in frustration.
I heard Damon sigh heavily.
"Scarlett, you understand that we will never let you plunge into danger alone" Damon said.
I looked at the two of them, they were always willing to be in danger just for my sake. I shed my tears.
"Scarlett, I can't let you go alone," Roland's tone of voice was so full of pleas.
"You also never dreamt you could go without me!" This time Damon said it as he stepped towards me.
"I don't want to harm you both" I said, wiping my tears.
Roland immediately pulled me into his arms.
"We both love each other, how can we go without each other?" whispered Roland in my ear.
I took off her arms and looked at her face. Yes, we both loved each other and promised to protect each other.
"Come on, let's go!" damon said in an impatient tone.
I thought hard, how do I bring them all back here? But I have to leave immediately to save Leda and Erick.
I looked back at the thing in my hand. I remembered that precious thing again. For the werewolves this little trumpet is so valuable because it can make you move anywhere, even to another dimension. Ah yes, why do I remember it.
Although the journey to the palace of darkness is a one-way journey, but with this magical trumpet I can bring my loved ones back here with me.
Maybe Aldrin purposely gave this precious object to save us. I was moved by his kindness. I'll thank him after the mission is over.
I stared at Roland and Damon in turn. The two of them nodded towards me to make sure that they were both ready.
I told the two of them to enter the circle and stand in the corner of the adjacent star. They did what I told them to.
After confirming that the position of the two of them was correct, I stepped into the circle and stood on a corner between the two of them. The three of us joined hands.
"You two need to close your eyes and focus your mind on me" I said slowly.
I saw the two of them immediately close their eyes. I felt the grip of their hands so tightly in my hands.
The smell of incense began to fill this room. The candlelight illuminated this room. I closed my eyes and took a slow breath.
I began to inhale the scent of incense and focused my mind. I felt Roland and Damon's hand grip as if they were giving me more strength.
I focused my thoughts more and more on the palace of darkness and on the King of Eternity. I let my soul float. But I still clasped Roland and Damon's hands tightly as if I was afraid that their hands would come off me.
The darkness seemed to swallow me up. I felt a pull from another world begin to rip my soul apart. I tightened my grip on Roland and Damon's. They both did the same thing as if they were afraid of losing me.
I feel like I'm spinning. I don't know how long this spinning sensation took. Suddenly I felt my body fall down with a soft thump on the hard, cold floor.
I tried to open my eyes. I saw Roland and Damon tumbling down on my right and left with my hands still tightly grasping my hands. The two of them groaned slowly and tried to get up staggered. I stood with my head down.
This trip gives me a headache. Perhaps the same was felt by Roland and Damon. The expression on his face explained that.
I stared around. We were in the palace of darkness. This palace was not like a royal palace in general, but more like a large and empty hall consisting of pillars like the temple of a Greek God. There was an altar above which there were two pillars and my eyes widened as I looked in that direction.
At the stake stood Leda and Erick with their bodies tied tightly to the pole as if they were both to be sacrificed.
