SCARLETT (Kiss From The Darkness)
Chapter 31

The horde of young vampires rushed into my room and charged towards me and Roland. I retaliated against their attacks with nimble movements. From the corner of my eye I saw Roland shoot out a few silver bullets towards those savage vampires.

Roland's bullet hit some of those vicious vampires. There were at least four vampires who fell to the floor. The rest are still charging towards me and Roland.

I beat up one vampire who tried to hit me but I caught him and clenched his arm to cause a bone crack that made me feel a little creepy. I broke the young vampire's neck.

"Shoot right into his heart!" I shouted towards Roland.

Victor seemed to be enjoying the scene that was happening before his eyes. It was as if he was watching a wrestling match that he thought might be exciting.

Roland was seen firing several bullets but all missed their target. He tried to shoot right at the heart of the savage vampires but the movement of the vampires was no match for Roland. They move so fast and fierce.

I ran towards Roland, and helped him to fight the attack. I stood behind him with our backs touching each other. The vampires attacked from all directions.

"Damn!" Roland cursed when he realized that his gun had run out of silver bullets.

I lunged at one of the vampires who came before me.

"Shoot again!" I'm calling on Roland.

"I'm out of bullets!" Roland shouted as he lunged towards the vampire who was about to bite his neck.

I ran over and pulled the vampire who was about to bite Roland.

"Don't touch it!" I shouted as I glared at the female vampire who was about to attack Roland.

The vampire laughed revealing his fangs that were drooling.

I attacked him and slammed him on the floor.

There were already a lot of vampires falling in my room, this time only two more vampires were left.

I lunged towards the two of them but they blocked me. They were both quite strong for a young vampire of his age. Both of them were big and thick men.

I punched one of the big vampires but he grabbed my arm and kicked me until I fell to the floor.

Roland ran and lunged towards her. However the vampire was so savage and he parried Roland's punch. He caught Roland and threw him against the wall.

Seeing Roland groan in pain, my emotions seemed to be burning. I focused my strength on the fire inside my body. I felt the fire running along my arm and towards my hand. I stood up and pointed my hand towards the two vampires who were walking towards Roland.

Puffs... The fire burned the two vampires. They screamed and tried to put out the flames that devoured their bodies. But the fire grew bigger. The two vampires jumped off my balcony and rolled on the grass below to put out the flames that burned his body.

I saw those two vampire clothes turn into a charlatan. I concentrated my strength and made the fire grow bigger. A few seconds later the two vampires were crushed into dust flying in the wind.

I looked towards Roland who was groaning in pain. I ran towards him but Victor stopped me. This time he took out a fire from his hand and pointed it at my body. My clothes immediately let out smoke. I did the same thing to him.

We both fought with the power of fire. I focused my mind on enlarging the flame on Victor's body to burn but apparently Victor's power was also immense. I felt the flames in my body burning my skin even more. My face frowned withstanding the heat that was burning my body. I saw Victor's face also frowning in pain from the fire I was aiming at him.

I feel like my body is getting weaker and my clothes are getting charred. I seem to be running out of energy. I collapsed on the floor and Victor laughed in celebration of his victory.

My eyes are starting to feel blurred. My consciousness seems to be getting thinner.

"Scarlett!" I heard Roland's voice calling me.

I vaguely saw Victor walking towards Roland and pulled him to his feet. Victor strangled Roland.

"You'll see your lover die in my hands!" Victor said it while laughing at me.

I nodded at her words.

"You can never save anyone in your life. You couldn't save your parents, now you can't save your girlfriend. You are a useless creature!" Victor laughed so hard that his shoulders shook.

I saw Roland almost out of breath. I saw his face in pain. He glanced at me and his eyes still radiated love. Ariston ...

My heart was broken seeing him in pain. No. gabe. I'm not a useless creature like Victor told me. No one can say that to me! I am not a useless creature! I screamed in my heart. This time I won't let Victor take away my loved ones!

I felt a stream of anger controlling me. I was moved by the flames of anger. I flew towards Victor with great speed pulling him towards me. My attack shocked him to the point that he removed his hand from Roland's neck. Roland fell to the floor.

This time I grabbed Victor's body with one hand while my other hand grabbed his head and I held him.

"Roll! The trunk!" I shouted at Roland and hoped that he would be able to throw his dagger at Victor.

Roland grabbed the dagger that was on his waist and threw it right into Victor's heart. I heard Victor hissing as the dagger pierced his heart. I broke his neck.

Victor's body fell with a thud to the floor. His body turned into dust and flew away as if swept away by the wind. Maybe Victor will soon head to hell and meet the Dark God.

This time the God of Darkness must have known that Victor was dead. I kept my promise. That means I don't need to be the Dark God's partner.

I breathe a sigh of relief. I turned towards Roland who was sitting leaning against the wall with a face of pain. I looked around the room, this time my room was quiet again. The savage vampires who had stormed the room had died and turned into dust that instantly vanished with the wind.

Now it's just me and Roland in the room. I walked towards him and grabbed him standing. I led him to the bed and told him to lie down.

I headed to my room to clean myself up and remove the smell of the charred flames Victor had caused.

I came out of the bathroom and headed towards Roland. I looked at his condition and told him to rest. After making sure Roland fell asleep, I immediately left the room to look for Leda.

I called him but there was no answer. The house feels so quiet and quiet. I looked around the house but there was no sign of Leda.

I saw a piece of paper on the table in the living room. I immediately grabbed the paper.

I'm taking your friends to my palace. Come and prepare to be my bride if you want them to survive!

My hands were shaking reading the message. This must be the Dark God! I crumpled the paper and threw it. My body was trembling with anger.
