Chapter 26

I shook my head in frustration. How do I fight Victor when he comes back looking for me again. Even up to this moment I have not been able to keep up with his strength.

"Try it again" Roland said slowly.

I went back to concentrating and focusing. I stared at the handcuffs in Roland's hands. A few seconds passed. Then puff...

The metal melted. Roland flicked his hand and blew his wrist where the handcuffs had been shackled. His hands are free. The handcuffs fell to the ground and looked wrinkled as they melted.

"I succeeded." I screamed with excitement.

Roland and Damon laughed at my behavior. Damon patted my back. I still can't believe what I just did.

This time I looked at my palm. I tried to refocus my mind. Puffs... Suddenly there was a small burning fire above my palm.

I saw the sight so amazed. Roland and Damon stared with widened eyes. I shook my hand and the fire went out.

I look around. I tried to take a broken twig that was on the ground. I went back to concentrating and focusing my mind on the branch. The twig burned and became charcoal.

"I'd better keep my distance from you this time so I don't get burned alive." Damon said it while laughing.

The three of us laughed together. I stopped laughing and looked at Roland.He felt my gaze fixed on him. He returned my gaze.

Damon left us both. He walked into the house to give us privacy.

After I stayed alone with Roland, I became clumsy. Ah, the nervous illness relapses again when dealing with love.

"I thought you were going to leave me." Roland said.

"Where can I possibly stand far from you." I ignored the embarrassment and I hugged her.

He laughed and returned my embrace. We kissed. No need for a lot of words between us. Enough of our hearts are bound and silenced all the words that exist.

"What about the other hunters?" I asked in a worried tone.

"Other let's think about it later. It's just you and me now." He said that while kissing me.

Yeah, it was just me and Roland.

I decided to go back to my house. I told Roland to stay with me in my house. It would be better for us to stay in one house so that we could look after each other.

Roland and I left Damon's house.

"Have a good time." Damon said that while waving his hand at me.

I returned the wave with a smile.

Roland and I drove to my house.

Arriving there me and Roland immediately headed to my room. We both want to immediately vent the existing longing.

Arriving at the room, Roland and I immediately merged into one. We both expressed all the desires that had been hidden.

"I love you" I whispered that line in his ear.

Roland looked me in the eye. Why didn't he say the same thing. I swallowed spit.

Roland got me drunk again with touches. He touched me with his lips and hands. I feel so floating. I love you, my screams in my heart.

"I love you, Scarlett." He whispered it in my ear as he reached the peak of his enjoyment.

He fell down on top of my body. I clenched her and felt her heartbeat slowly slow down as her breathing calmed down.

Roland's eyes looked pretty. He looks limp. He fell asleep on top of me. I let him sleep. I enjoyed that moment. I felt it was the most beautiful moment during my existence on this earth.

I don't know how long Roland's been asleep. I listened to his regular breathing. I stroked his back with my fingers. I felt Roland move. He lifted his head to look at me.

"Did I wake you?" I asked with a smile.

"No," he said with a smile. He kissed my lips softly.

"Roland, there's a lot you should know about me" I said softly.

"There's plenty of time for that," he came back to shower me with his kisses.

We felt the fire that burned our passion. As if this was the first time I felt this kind of passion. Roland really made me float.

This time I was in control. I moved with him with a fast rhythm. We enjoyed the peak again.

This time my breath was hunting. I drooped down beside Roland's body. Roland hugged me and I leaned my head against his chest.

I got out of bed when Roland was about to go to the bathroom to clean himself up. I feel thirsty. Maybe because I spent a lot of energy with Roland. I smiled considering what had just happened to me and Roland. What we both did tied us up.

I walked out of the room and headed to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and took a bag of blood. I immediately sipped and drained the blood. I threw the bag over the kitchen table. Let Leda throw the bag away.

I haven't seen Leda since Roland and I came to this house. I walked to the living room. The room seemed empty. Where's Leda, I ask in my heart.

I called her name, but there was no answer. I checked his room. But the room was empty.

I went back to my room and saw Roland had cleaned himself up. He smiled to see me.

"Hi, do I look disheveled?" He asked with a smile.

"You never look wrinkled" I said, kissing her cheek gently.

I heard Roland's stomach. I looked at him worriedly.

"Eh, maybe you should eat." I said it while laughing.

"Yes, I'm a little hungry." The answer.

"Usually Leda will prepare food here. But I didn't see him at all." I said that with a worried tone.

"Is he not home?" Roland asked curiously.

"Let's go, I looked for him in all the rooms but I didn't find him." This time I was really worried.

Roland felt my worry.

"You didn't call him?" Ask.

Ah yes, how could I have forgotten to call her. I took my phone which I put on the table beside my bed. I called Leda. His phone could not be reached.

I feel a bad feeling. I looked at Roland with a worried look. I asked Roland to find Leda.

We both searched Leda into all the rooms in the house but couldn't find her. I pointed to the courtyard and called out to him while walking around the courtyard, yet there was no sign of his whereabouts.

Roland walked towards the park behind my house. While I'm still checking on the side of the house. Maybe Leda cleaned up the garden around the house, I thought to myself.

Roland called me from the back of the house. I immediately ran towards him. There, I saw Leda's body lying on the ground.

I screamed so loud.
