I ran and knelt beside Leda. I grabbed his head and placed it on my lap. I cried and shook her body hoping she would open her eyes soon.
"He's still breathing." Roland said that to ease my worries.
I saw a scratch on Leda's neck. Blood still seeped from the wound.
"Who did this?" I looked at Roland while wiping away the tears that made my vision blur.
Roland looked around as if looking for an answer. I followed the direction of his view. There, there are some plant leaves in the corner of the garden that emit smoke as if burned out.
"Victor did this." I said it with a vengeance.
Roland brought Leda inside the house. He put Leda in his room. I cleaned the wound on Leda's neck and treated the wound.
Usually all this time, Leda always takes care of me. This time I took care of him.
Roland left us both. I sat next to Leda on the bed. I was waiting for him to wake up. Later, I'll make a calculation with Victor.
I saw Leda open her eyes and frown in pain.
"Leda, are you conscious?" I asked while leaning my body towards him.
He nodded weakly.
"Did Victor do this to you?" I asked just to be sure.
"Yes, he suddenly appeared in the courtyard and attacked me." He replied and his eyes looked up as if he was remembering the incident.
"I'm sorry" I said in a guilty tone.
"It's not your fault" he said, patting my arm.
"Why did you come home so soon? Didn't you say you'd stay a few days at Damon's?" He tried to get out of bed and sit down.
"Yes, there were some vampire hunters who came to Damon's house to attack us" I said.
"Are you hurt?" Leda looked at me worriedly.
That's how he is, always paying more attention to myself than to himself.
"How can you still worry about me while you're hurt yourself." I laughed at him.
"I just got a little scuffed." He shook his head.
"You know, I almost fainted and found you lying on the ground." I said that while shuddering.
"I'm fine." He calms me down.
"Rest!" I said it while standing up to leave his room.
He pulled my hand. I looked towards him.
"What's wrong?" My toot.
"You're with Roland?" Ask curiously.
I nodded answering his question.
"Give him a meal!" He reminds me of that.
I laughed when I heard him say that. I almost forgot that Roland was human.
"I'll tell him to eat." I said it while laughing.
I waltzed out of the room and headed to the living room to look for Roland.
I saw him sitting on the couch. I immediately headed towards him and sat down beside him. He grabbed me and put me in his lap.
"You have to eat" I said.
"I'm not very hungry yet" he said.
"Don't lie! I can hear the sound of your stomach rumbling from ten meters away." I said it while laughing.
"Yes, I forgot that my woman is a vampire who has super hearing" he said with a smile.
Ah, I felt soaring hearing Roland call me "my woman".
"Leda always fills the refrigerator with human food." I explained to her.
Roland nodded listening to my explanation.
"A werewolf like him looks more like a human." I continued while pouring a glass of water for her.
Roland's attention was centered on the blood bags that filled the bottom of the refrigerator.
"Ehm, that's my supply." I said it in a timid tone.
Roland nodded and closed the refrigerator door after he picked up a box of salad and placed it on the table.
I saw him finish that salad. I'm amazed by everything Roland has. It seemed Roland realized that I was staring at him. He put down his spoon and stopped chewing. She's staring.
I smiled at him.
"Would you like to try?" He directed a spoonful of salad towards me to feed me.
I'm shaking.
"Can't you eat human food?" Ask curiously.
"I can swallow everything but it feels weird when it goes through my throat." I said it while laughing.
Roland laughed and continued eating. I have to tell Erick and Damon that Victor came here. I called Erick and Damon.
Thirty minutes later, I heard the sound of hasty footsteps entering my living room. Erick has come and he looks worried.
I explained to her about what had happened, she immediately ran to Leda's room to visit her.
A few minutes later, Damon came too.
"What's the condition of your beloved werewolf?" Ask me.
"Stop calling him a werewolf, he's got a name!" I told Damon.
Damon shrugged his shoulders hearing the tone of aggravation in my voice.
"Hi hunter! It's good to see you again." This time Damon greeted Roland.
"I'm an ex-hunter." Said Roland in a firm tone.
I looked towards Roland. There seemed to be an aura of tension going on between Roland and Damon.
"Victor deliberately came to my house to terrorize me," I said trying to melt the tension between Roland and Damon.
"It seems so," Damon said in a flat tone.
We have to fight Victor!" I said it with a firm tone.
Roland and Damon looked seriously at me.
"I wish I hadn't turned into charcoal when fighting it." Damon spoke with skepticism.
"You can hone your ability to control fire." Roland said it gently to me.
I nodded towards him.
The three of us were shocked by the sounds coming from outside my fence. I turned towards Roland and Daon in turn. The two of them exchanged looks with equal curiosity.
I stepped towards the front page. Roland and Damon were following me in the back.
There, behind my high fence was a pack of wolves that seemed to run amok and ready to pounce on us. I stopped and stood stiff. I felt Roland and Damon stiffen behind me.
The wolves roared with a loud voice. Their howls gave me goosebumps. The sound of howling seemed to indicate sadness.
I was still standing motionless as the pack of wolves broke down my fence and rushed into the courtyard about to attack the three of us with its terrifying howl.
I lunged against their attacks. From the corner of my eye Damn and Roland were fighting against some wolves that were attacking both of them. It seems like there were ten wolves attacking us.
The three of us fought ten raging wolves. I managed to throw one wolf on the ground until it howled in pain. I saw Roland point his gun at the wolf who was running about to pounce on him.
"STOP IT!" Leda's voice echoed from the direction of my porch.
At once all the wolves stopped their attacks and they lined up neatly and bowed respectfully towards Leda. Me, Roland, and Damon were stunned by the sight.
