"What??"

David seemed to widen his eyes, after getting an answer from Rendy stating that they could not attend.

There was a sense of annoyance in him. I don't know what makes Rendy and Richard suddenly unable to attend, but previously he had made sure that his two friends could be present at the event.

"Come, Ren ... You guys have promised me, why is it now suddenly changing so, what is it?"

A myriad of questions seemed to swerve in David's head. He did not think they would be that hard, while he was very hopeful for the presence of both of them.

"Ren, what's wrong?" david asked, after he got no answer from Rendy. "Ren, answer me! I'm still waiting for you guys. Where's Richard? I want to talk to him!" he was a little angry.

Is it possible that Richard did not want to be present because he felt such a deep heartache? If it is true, of course he will feel very sinful because he does not think about the feelings of his own friend.

David was still waiting for an answer from Rendy. However, Rendy was still speechless, unwilling to reply, as if something was being hidden.

"Can't dong, Ren .. Lo the story used to be the same me, what has happened?" david said, after Rendy asked David to immediately hold his marriage contract.

Sometimes the man turned to the place where Aretha and the rest of his family were waiting. Yes, he deliberately moved a little away from the place so as not to disturb the others.

David was just about to shut down that phone line. However, he immediately undoes his intentions, as Rendy begins to respond back to his words.

"Ren, speaking clearly! Don't talk too much, just get to the point, what's going on?" cecar David felt furious.

"What?" said surprised.

Instantly the man's mouth opened wide with eyes that looked perfectly bought, after he listened to some explanations from Rendy. I don't know what really happened, so he was surprised.

He slowly lowered the flat object from his ear. His body sagged for a moment. Both of his brown beads looked teary, his chest felt tight, as if hearing bad news from Rendy. However, he seemed to be trying to stay strong, as a real man who did not want to look weak and whiny.

"Geez .. What have I done? Aarrgh!!" david groaned in frustration, rubbing his own face.

With a slightly shaky move, the man walked back to the family and the invited guests. Apparently, the expression the man showed made all eyes on him. They stared in wonder and question, not least Aretha and her parents.

Aretha was still watching the man who became her future husband. Seeing David's expression made him wonder, what was as big as it had already happened to David? However, he could not ask directly, with David's distance far enough from his reach. The girl decided to wait for David to approach her.

David stood in the middle of the crowd, facing the invited guests, then took a deep breath that previously seemed so hunting and made him feel claustrophobic. The man tried to reinterpret his feelings, even though it was actually very difficult.

"A big apology to all the family and invited guests. With a heavy heart, I canceled this event" said David who suddenly made everyone more surprised.

While the others looked boisterous with their whispers, questioning each other, what had happened, Aretha also reflected up from her seat, then approached David who was still standing in his original place. He believes David could not have canceled the event just like that, if for no good reason.

"What's up, Mom?" he asked, after he stood right next to David. "Why do you suddenly want to say this?" he asked full questions.

Obviously it would embarrass his whole family, but it was not important to Aretha. The important thing is that he knows the reason David made such a unilateral decision.

Both parents of the bride and groom still do not believe what David said. How could David suddenly cancel it, while he himself who previously wanted to accelerate the marriage.

"Dave! Dave!" kris yelled, unheeded by David.

David walked very hastily, which made Aretha find it difficult to walk in a bridal outfit that limited her movement slightly.

"Mas, what's up? Where are we going?" ask Aretha with a step that was not careless. However, David did not respond.

The man opens the door to his car and sits Aretha there. After a few seconds he drove his luxury car across the road at full speed, making Aretha feel frightened. Occasionally the man ruffled his hair in frustration, but his gaze was still focused forward.

"Mas, what's wrong with you?" aretha asked still curious. Again he did not get a response from the man beside him.

David continues to drive his car regardless of Aretha in the slightest, until he arrives at a hospital. He immediately went down and invited Aretha to get off the car while still wearing the wedding dress. At once Aretha was made curious.

"Mas, what are we here for? Who's sick?" he asked again, not getting an answer.

David and Aretha seemed to rush into the hospital, the man asked the ICU room to the hospital staff. After getting an answer from the officer, David and Aretha again set foot through the hospital corridor that looks lonely.

Exactly a few meters from the ICU room, Rendy was sitting in the waiting chair, while covering her face with her hands resting on her groin.

Hearing the pounding of the shoes made Rendy remove her hands from her own face, then turn to the source of the sound.

"Dave?" he said a little jump. He immediately got up from his seat.

David and Aretha immediately approached Rendy. With a furious expression, David held onto both of Rendy's shoulders.

"Why didn't you say from the beginning the same to me, ha??" the question is full of emotion.

While Aretha still did not understand what was really going on with Richard. The girl turned towards the ICU room, looking Felix and a girl who was none other than Renata, Richard's younger brother, were waiting in front of the room.

In a hurry, Aretha approached the two of them without caring about David and Rendy at that time.

"Om" he called Felix, after he was right in front of the middle-aged man.

"Son, are you here?" felix.

Felix held onto Aretha's shoulders while looking at the girl.

"Son, please save Richard! Only you can do that. You're the one who's been the reason for him to stay alive. Om beg ..," said Felix pleading, as soon as his tears fell from the corner of the middle-aged man's eyes.
