"You? You fooled me?" David sharpened his gaze.

Aretha opened her eyes perfectly, looking at David. The girl widened her smile, as David looked forward to an answer from her.

"Mas!" Aretha's call immediately made David realize from his daydream.

Aretha nodded, then smiled. "I promise! Unless destiny's not on our side, what can I do?" the answer.

"I will pray all the time that the universe will bless our relationship" David said expectantly. However, Aretha only replied with a smile.
