"How is Aretha's pregnancy?" ask David to Dara.
Yes, that morning David was driving Aretha to check the condition of the womb, after the age of pregnancy was declared to have stepped on nine months.
Dara looked to be smiling. "Thank God, your wife's condition is very good, her mother is healthy, her baby is the same. It's just that, the tension is a little low, but you don't have to worry, it's just so, really," he explained, after he had a series of checks on the content of Aretha, including doing USG.
"Thank God" David commented.
"Dok, what should I do to make the delivery process smooth?" ask Aretha curiously.
To be honest, Aretha was very afraid of the labor process later. As he knows that many cases have difficulty in the process of childbirth which of course the stakes are life. It was really terrible for him.
Remembering the case made Aretha often shrieked, when thinking about it, so that the fear that was already ingrained in him could instantly soar high, when he thought about it.
What if he can't do it well later. What if it turns out that giving birth was more painful than what he had imagined so far. It makes him even more paranoid.
Again Dara smiled at her smile. "Many prostrate so that the position of his head is good" he replied telling.
"Is that so?" ask Aretha to make sure.
"Yes, sure," Dara briefly looked seriously at the face of the woman in front of her. "Oh yes, this will have entered the ninth month, so please take good care of yourself, because the prediction for labor is approximately two weeks away," he explained.
"Mas, how come I'm so nervous." Aretha Reflect held the arm of the husband who was sitting next to her.
Got word that the delivery process is getting closer, making Aretha more nervous to face it.
"You take it easy, everything's gonna be fine, honey." David tried to calm his wife who he knew was very timid for extreme and terrible things.
Looking at Aretha's expression back then, Dara seemed to chuckle. Indeed, for a woman who is just the first time will face labor, fear, nervousness, and trembling have become a common unity felt by every first pregnant woman.
As a doctor, Dara understood that. Although she had never felt the pain of childbirth, but it was not the first time she faced such a timid young mother-to-be as Aretha. And it always made him chuckle, moreover the expression of his friend's wife looked very funny.
"Don't think about how the labor process will go, but think about the baby that will be born from your stomach. Imagine how cute your baby will be. Imagine how you will take care of your baby until it grows into an adult. How funny kids are when they're one year, two years old, and at school. Imagine all that," said Dara at length who seemed to be hypnotizing the mind of Aretha who had been disturbed because it was too late to think about the labor process later.
Unwittingly, Aretha had imagined what Dara was saying one by one. Instantly he published a smile on his face. It felt so good when he imagined it all. How he and David will be the happiest parents when their child is born. Ah, it feels like he can't wait for the presence of new family members in his house.
"I can't wait to hold the baby, Doc, right away" Aretha said, grinning happily.
"I'm the same, I can't wait to see your baby. Surely your son will be very funny," replied Dara.
Instantly they laughed happily. Dara's words had really hypnotized Aretha, making her fear instantly forgotten.
"Be careful, don't think too much about things that can be stressful, because it will affect the psychological baby, so your baby feels stress and it's not good." Dara was unceasingly reminded of Aretha to keep her content well.
"Of course, Doc. I will definitely take good care of her," replied Aretha.
"Alright, then we say goodbye, thank you, Dar," David said farewell.
"Together, Dave," replied Dara.
They seemed to rise from their seats, shake hands with each other, before the couple left the doctor's office.
After all was done, they immediately rushed out of Dara's room. Outside the room, there were some street patients who were none other than some pregnant women who were also waiting in line to be called into the room immediately.
Apparently, their activities have been too long inside, thus making other road patients wait longer than usual.
"Honey, where are you going first? Can I take you somewhere?" david asked in the middle of their trip to the car park around the hospital.
"You, Mas!" aretha replied enthusiastically.
"Where?" asked David who was a little surprised to see the wife who was so enthusiastic to respond to his question.
"How about we shop for our baby's needs?" ask Aretha for an opinion.
David grinned happily at the expression of the wife who was so obsessed with immediately preparing the needs of their future baby.
"Can. It seems like a good idea too" replied David approvingly.
David opens the car door for Aretha, and the woman immediately climbs inside. After that, David closed the car door tightly. He immediately walked to the door of the other car, then began to sit next to the wheel.
Without waiting for long, David immediately started his car engine. There was a soft roar from the luxurious car. Instantly David pressed the gas pedal, after the car was on.
The car started driving out the hospital gate. David seemed to increase speed, after the car began to split the highway that seemed to be very crowded with traffic vehicles, both public transportation, and private vehicles.
It didn't last long they were in the car. In just a quarter of an hour David had managed to park the car right in the parking lot of a department store. They immediately got out of the car, then walked into the main door of the department store.
The first place they went to was a place that provided baby supplies. Aretha put on a delighted expression, as she saw the various needs of the complete baby.
With great enthusiasm, Aretha immediately approached the special place of baby clothes.
Aretha looked flabbergasted to see the model and color so funny and interesting. I really want her to buy all those clothes for her baby. He imagined that the baby would look very funny if wearing the tiny clothes. However, it feels impossible to buy a baby clothing store, even though David could have bought it if he wanted, but what is that much clothing for?
Ah, seeing so many different models, funny, unique and interesting, making Aretha increasingly dilemma must buy models and what color for the baby later, making Aretha even more difficult, while she did not know the sex of the baby in the womb, because indeed she and her husband deliberately did not ask the doctor about it. I want to make it a surprise for them.
"Mas, I was confused which one to choose," Aretha said, not shifting her focus from the various clothes hanging in the store.
"Darling, look at the blue!" david said, pointing to one of the baby clothes in blue.
Aretha seemed to shift her focus towards the clothes that David had pointed at.
"Mas, that's a baby boy's suit, not that dong" Aretha grumbled.
"Lho, then which one? That's good, honey. Who knows if our son is a boy" retorted David kekeh.
"Just kid! Better also that, very beautiful, it looks like it will be suitable if used by our baby later, Mas," said Aretha did not want to lose. He was shown one of the pink baby girl clothes.
"That's for a baby girl, honey," grumbled David.
"Geez, honey .. The first child is better a boy, so later he can look after and protect his younger siblings," explained David looking for an excuse.
"What's wrong with women? Don't underestimate women, Mom! Women are strong, they can be good sisters and can look after and protect their younger siblings."
There was a debate between the couple. They seem to fight over the gender of their baby candidates who they just do not know what gender.
Aretha kekeh wants to buy baby clothes for baby girls, while David vice versa. I don't know why no one wants to give up on both. From the very beginning they had agreed that whatever gender God gave to their baby, they would not protest. But now what? They fussed about it in public again.
"I would rather agree our first boy was a boy, period!" david Strictly.
"Lho, you know, you know, Mas .. can't be so dong .. I want women," protested Aretha.
"I don't want to be Richard's father-in-law, what the fuck?" annoyed David who made the wife even laugh in the crowd of the store.
"Mas, you're all there! How could Richard's brother marry our son!" aretha said slightly chuckling at the husband's behavior.
"Who knows he's serious, honey."
"Where is possible, Mommy. Ah, it's .. why so discuss him, mending now we choose which is suitable for our baby later," said Aretha divert the conversation.
"Alright, then we choose a neutral model and color only," said David advising.
"OK," brief Aretha.
Aretha and David immediately did their activities looking for some baby equipment, ranging from clothes, shoes, blankets and some other equipment. They deliberately choose models and neutral colors so that there is no more debate between them.
After feeling enough, they immediately ended their activities, then immediately paid for the items that were their choice at the cashier's table.

One week later.
That night Aretha and David were sitting together in the living room. David seemed to focus on watching news broadcasts on television channels, while Aretha who sat next to him seemed busy with reading novels. Things that he has always done and never feel bored to do that, even though it has been repeatedly.
In the midst of his activities, David immediately put his hand on Aretha's shoulder, then slightly pulled the woman's neck closer to her body.
"Darling, seriously, anyway?" david asked to disrupt the wife's focus.
"What the hell, Mas? You just continue watching the news, I'm responsible for this," Aretha grumbled without looking at her husband.
David took a short breath, then exhaled slowly. "Is that book more fun than me, huh?" his protest felt not much more pleasant than a novel book.
Aretha sighed for a moment. "You are, if you want to be jealous, jealousy is okay, but do not be jealous of the book as well, Mas," continued Aretha.
"Lho, why? It's wrong that I'm jealous to see you're more engrossed in your book, while I'm sitting here alone?" ask David.
"Hmmm .. It's up to you, ma'am," said Aretha did not want to respond too much to her husband.
They were silent for a moment. David still did not want to release his arms from his wife. At once Aretha looked up at the husband's face.
"Darling, tomorrow afternoon I'm going out of town, you're okay, right, while staying at my mom's house?" david asked suddenly, thus making Aretha a little surprised.
"Lho, how did you just say it now? You are a habit, every time you want to go out of town always say it's impromptu!" aretha protest while arranging his sitting position slightly upright, immediately made David's hand stretch.
"Yes, sorry. I forget. After all, it will be the afternoon, dear," said David clarified.
"Stay still, Mas" whined Aretha.
"Sorry, I won't take long, honey." David appears to be peeping over Aretha's head.
"How long?" ask Aretha to make sure.
"Three days" David answered briefly.
"Old, Mas," complained Aretha.
"That's only three days, honey. Not three months," said David while staring at the face of the wife who was when it was just below his face. "I go home quickly when my business is done" he added.
"Who are you out of town with?" ask Aretha to know.
"Staircase" David brief.
"Yes, it's okay," replied Aretha slightly wrinkling her face as if she was unwilling to be left in such an enlarged stomach.
David again kissed the top of the head of the wife long enough. "You take good care of yourself, as long as I'm not home" David said.
"Mas ...," said Aretha.
"Why, Honey?" David let go of his kiss.
"Kok, I feel bad huh," complained Aretha revealed what she was feeling at that time.
"Not so good why?" asked David curiously.
"No idea, Mom. I felt a little anxious, but I didn't know what it was because of" Aretha said.
"Maybe because you think too much about the labor process later," said David suspect.
"Maybe it be like that?" Aretha thought for a moment. "But .. I don't think that's why, Mas," he added.
"Then because of what?"
"Come, Mas. I don't know what makes me like this either" replied Aretha.
