That afternoon, exactly at 12:30 WIB. David accidentally invites Richard and also Rendy. However, Richard instead asked his two best friends to come to his office.

An hour later, David and Rendy had been in Richard's room, while Richard was still unfinished with the meeting in his office. The plan, they will discuss about investigating the Aretha accident case.

Recalling after the hospital, last night. Richard and Rendy visit the cake shop, where Aretha had previously bought the cake.

Luckily they moved so fast they could meet the clerk from the store and track down the incident a few hours ago in front of the cake shop.

Sure enough their guess, that the accident Aretha was indeed because of the element of intent. There was a man who had accidentally cut off Aretha's car brake cable. The evidence was obtained from CCTV footage that had been hidden in the front area of the cake shop.

After a few minutes, Richard immediately sent the CCTV footage to David, after he managed to copy the recording to his smart phone.

Not to forget, Richard and Rendy also immediately reported the incident to the authorities, while David sent a reliable secret agent who had joined the intelligence agency.

Yes, he is Denis, someone who has worked with David from before he managed the company at headquarters. Denis is asked to investigate the case by David.

Due to Denis' persistence, within a short time the man had discovered who the brake cord breaker was. Unfortunately, the perpetrator was just a paid errand boy so he had not found out who was behind it all. That's why David didn't want to turn in first to the police, before the perpetrator admitted who had intended to harm Aretha.

"How did you find out?" ask David Rendy.

"Had you heard from Denis, the perpetrator still hasn't acknowledged who's behind all this" David replied as he leaned against his body on the couch in Richard's study.

"Wouldn't the man be handed over to the authorities immediately?" rendy gave me advice.

"Sorry, wait a long time!" The sudden appearance of Richard seemed to distract the two.

David and Rendy turned towards the door, watching Richard walking towards them. Looks like Richard just finished a meeting with another co-worker.

"It's over, Bro?" rendy asked, looking at Richard.

Richard sat his body on a single sofa that was right next to David. "Just finished" he answered. "So how? Did the perpetrator confess to who told him to harm Aretha?" ask without being stale.

David gave the same answer as what he answered to Rendy. Yes, the truth is. Denis, as a secret agent, still has not received an answer regarding the real perpetrator from the person he has arrested, according to the CCTV footage.

"Do we have to go to that person ourselves and force him to confess?" richard asked a little furiously at David's reply.

"Wait tonight, if the lizard still hasn't confessed, I'll intervene myself!" david answered, clenching his hands together as if he could not wait to meet the person in question and floated a raw bogem on the person, because he had courageously played with him.

"Do you know who Aretha has a problem with?" richard asked, looking at David curiously.

"That's the matter?" David seemed to think. "She never told me it was the same" he replied.

Is it possible that he has a problem with someone else so anyone dares to harm him?

"Try asking, Dave. Perhaps he did have a problem with someone else, his schoolmate perhaps?" advice Rendy chimed in.

"If the problem with his college friend I don't know, but there is one of his friends who is after Aretha. She recently found out that Aretha was my future fiancee" David explained.

"There's possibility. It could be because he feels jealous and gets angry" said Rendy.

"No! I'm not sure if he did it" David replied a little hesitantly.

"It should be that if he had a grudge against me, I would be affected, not even Aretha," said David. He thinks it doesn't make logic. Because that is the barrier itself. Samuel should have harmed her, not harmed Aretha.

"It could be because Aretha kept rejecting him. Who knew he was a psychopath" Richard replied.

David paused for a moment and thought, before finally responding to Richard. "Lo is right too. It seems I have to be careful with him" he said.

"Why don't we hand the lizard over to the authorities?" ask Rendy.

"Don't first! Let the police continue to investigate the case. After we make the jerk open his mouth, then we leave it to the authorities, all we drag with the boss!" david answered a little emotionally. Richard and Rendy seemed to nod as if heeding David's words.

"Thanks, you've helped me" said David. He is so grateful to have friends like Richard and Rendy who always support and also help him, when he is in trouble.

David did have time to consider his two friends as liars and traitors, especially to Richard. However, it was just a momentary emotion for him and that was the biggest mistake he had ever made. But it really wasn't from the bottom of his heart.

"What's the point of a friend, if you can't help each other" replied Rendy.

"Gue do this for Aretha, not for you!" timpal Richard seems to deliberately want to provoke David's emotions.

And sure enough, David looked at Richard sharply. With a quick cushion of the sofa rolled into Richard's face. However, as quickly as lightning Richard caught it. That didn't make Richard angry at all. The man chuckled because he felt like he was winning.

Rendy was made to chuckle at David's behavior. For some reason David, who is famous for being assertive, authoritative, mature and charismatic, suddenly always turns into a child, if it is about things related to Aretha.

"Look, soon I'll marry Aretha!" annoyed David.

Richard and Rendy were silent. Instantly they stopped the action, looking seriously at David. And more so Richard. Is it true what David said? thought.

"Married?" Richard looked to frown his forehead with a slightly dumbstruck expression.

David stared triumphantly. He doesn't seem to care about his best friend's feelings. However, it was Richard who had started it, his inner self back then.

"Why? Didn't you give it up for me?" ask David.

Richard chuckled slightly, which was more of a mocking expression. "Gue wasn't sure Aretha would want to get married that soon" she replied. Of course he knows how Aretha is.

"Don't call me David, if I can't do it!" david Strictly. "Gue back! I'll let you know if I need help!" David got out of that place. Meanwhile, neither Richard nor Rendy responded. They only noticed David's departure at the time.

"Bro, are you okay?" rendy asked, after David had passed from the room. He looked back at Richard, who was still staring at the door.

"sure!" richard replied sure.

"Be careful, don't think too much!" rendy reminded me. "Gue turned around as well" she said as she lifted her body from the sofa.

"It's okay. Don't worry about me too much!"
