"Dave, that's not what I mean," said Richard as if feeling unwell which actually makes David more convinced by his assumption.

David just kept quiet and didn't respond. Whether Aretha or Rendy, no one commented anything. However, they still paid close attention to what they were talking about. In fact, the others seemed to be in silence, as if they were still observing where their conversation was going.

David had first focused his gaze on Aretha so as to make Richard undo his intentions, when he would explain further to David, who knew what it was.

Just now Aretha was about to open her mouth to respond to David's words. However, David had already cut it off.

However, his steps came to a halt, as Aretha called out to him.

David turned his body back, then looked at Aretha. However, right then and there Aretha was only speechless looking at the man who was not far from her reach. His eyes still shed tears. Either because of sadness or disappointment. David swallowed his saliva heavily, feeling unbearable to see Aretha who still had not stopped crying, but he could not do much.

So what else could he do? After all, whatever he did, it still would not make Aretha able to return, he thought.

David still seemed confused by Aretha's question. Whether he had to answer anything, he did not know the most appropriate answer to Aretha's question at that time.

David and Aretha's wedding anniversary makes Richard feel guilty, so he decides to realize what they want, namely getting married.

After a while, David looked at Aretha again. That sad look instantly turned into happiness. "Re, will you marry me?" he asked Aretha who immediately got a smile and a nod of the head from the girl.

Without thinking long, at that time David and Aretha held a kabul ijab in the room witnessed by Richard and others. The two doctors were witnesses to their marriage.
