Dave's?
David looked to give a cynical look to Fathur who was standing next to his wife. And vice versa. Instantly they look at each other.
Incidentally, the office was quite quiet at that time, making them seem more free to chat in the middle of an atmosphere that felt a little creepy.
"Mas, you've been here apparently," said Aretha as she threw her trademark smile. However, no longer got a response from her husband who was still staring cynically at Fathur.
For some reason the atmosphere became a little tense, as David and Fathur threw hateful gazes at each other. However, without a word escaping out of their mouths. Long enough they were tense, so that made Aretha also tense to see him.
Is there fear in his mind? Sure do. Aretha was very afraid if David heard his conversation with Fathur, and did not rule out the possibility that David had heard it, so he was cynical about his new client.
Never mind seeing Aretha having such a conversation with another man, seeing him just close together, not infrequently makes her husband inflamed.
In order to melt the atmosphere back, Aretha decided to open her voice.
"Ehem." Aretha cleared her throat gently as if wanting to neutralize back her feelings that were slightly disturbed due to the tension from the two men there.
"Mas, introduce this Mr. Fathur, my new client whom I told you about yesterday" she said, introducing her new client to her husband. However, again David just silently did not respond.
"Hi, Dave," said Fathur who immediately made Aretha jump in shock, how could Fathur know her husband, he thought.
"Lho, do you know each other?" aretha asked astonishedly as she looked at the two of them in turn.
Fathur laughed a little. "We—"
"Darling, we'd better get home, pity the kids are waiting," David cut off not wanting to give Fathur a chance to talk.
"Hhh?" Aretha gasped a little. There was indeed a strange thing that he caught from both of them. They seem to know each other, but David seems to want to cover it, what is this? The inner Aretha wondered.
"Good, Mas. Wait a minute," replied Aretha later. "Sir Fathur, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" he told Fathur.
"Please" replied Fathur briefly.
Aretha immediately moved from that place to her room to pick up the bag. Meanwhile, David and Fathur are still in the same place, again clashing.
David unceasingly stared at the cynical man who had recently officially become his wife's business partner. And vice versa. Their aura looks so very creepy. Instantly Fathur smiled his bitter smile, before he finally reopened his voice.
"Long time no see, how are you, Dave?" asked Fathur in his cynical tone.
"Yes, long enough, and I hope we'll never have any more business after this" David replied without wanting to mince words to the man who was once part of his past. The worst story ever haunts his teenage years and because of that face he recalls his dark times.
Fathur laughed mockingly. "You mean? Aretha is your wife, isn't she? I do not have any business with you, but I have business with your wife" he replied cynically.
"Please stay away from my wife, and never interrupt our lives!" david warned with great emphasis.
Fathur looked grim for a moment. "Hhh! How could I have stayed away from him, after we signed the contract an hour ago," he said as if challenging which of course made David even more furious.
Damnit damnit! Why they make decisions so quickly. And why do I just know that it turns out he is the son of Mr. Adi, my business partner as well.
"Once you do something, I'll never stay silent!" david threatened.
"Wow! I thought you had forgotten our past, I was wrong. Apparently you still remember it perfectly, and that's why you were so scared, when I knew your wife" Fathur said. "Well, Dave, it looks like it's going to be exciting, if we start the game now," he added.
"What do you mean?" david asked, rounding his eyes perfectly.
"I don't think you're a fool that's hard to understand" Fathur said as he approached David, then patted David on the shoulder slowly, before he finally left the place.
"Oh yeah, your wife is pretty too, it looks like I'll be attracted to her." Fathur seemed to stop his steps for a moment, right behind David, without turning his head in the slightest.
Hearing Fathur's statement, David became so enraged that he immediately turned his back and pulled one of Fathur's hands. While next to his hand he had clenched perfectly, and was ready to throw a bogem punch to the man who had once been his closest friend.
"Mas."
David had not had time to do so, suddenly Aretha's voice made him slightly jerked, then swiftly released Fathur from the clutches of his hands.
"Remember! Our business is not finished!" whispered to Fathur.
"Darling? Are you ready to go home?" david asked, trying to show his usual attitude in front of his wife. However, Fathur just smiled bitterly looking at her.
"Here you go, my mother" replied Aretha.
"alright. Come on, let's go home," David said as he approached his wife.
"Sir Fathur, I say goodbye" Aretha told Fathur.
"Yes please, I will also be home soon," replied Fathur.
David seemed to wrap his hands around Aretha's waist, then moved out of the office building. Meanwhile, Fathur was still in the same spot, looking at Aretha and David's longer back, getting further away from him.
"Well, Dave. It seems like this will be a good opportunity for me to avenge all my pain first," she said without shifting her focus from the couple.

On the way home, the atmosphere in the car seemed quiet. David seemed to focus his gaze forward, without any sound that he created, so that made Aretha who had noticed his expression a little creepy, a little awkward to open the voice first.
I don't know what happened to her husband and new client, so their meeting disrupted David's mood in a short time, that's what Aretha was able to deduce from the incident she saw a few minutes ago in her office.
Feeling uncomfortable with such an atmosphere, Aretha finally decided to open a chat with her husband.
"Mas, do you know Mr Fathur?" aretha asked, looking at her husband who was busy driving.
David was silent for a moment, before he responded to Aretha's question.
"What are you talking about?" david asked regardless of Aretha's question with a still focused view ahead.
Aretha looked confused as to what to answer. If she was honest, David would be very angry with her, but if she did not tell him honestly, she would not want to hide anything from her husband.
"That's all?" david asked, looking over with eyes that seemed to be in disbelief. However, Aretha was silent. She knew that her husband was not okay, so she was in a dilemma, because with him honestly it felt like he would not be able to change anything, especially when he lied. And, the one thing that could save him back then was silence.
"I never taught you to lie" David's repulsive chirp made Aretha jump a little. It seems that David already knows what he discussed with Fathur in the office earlier.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way" replied Aretha."I just don't want—"
"Don't want me to know?" cut David.
"No" argued Aretha. "What do you have to do with him?" tanyanya.
"I hope you're not too close to him" David asked his wife.
"Why, Mas?" ask Aretha astonished.
"I've told you, I don't like you being close to another man, whoever it is!" david Strictly.
"In fact, you did not answer my question at all, Mas," protested Aretha.
"Which question?"
"You know him?"
"Know" David replied briefly.
"Know where? You seem to know her very well, not just as well as you know her," said Aretha.
"Ck!" David clucked resentfully at getting a spate of questions from his wife. "You just do my wish" he added.
"No way, before you tell me," rejected Aretha who immediately got a plot from David, making him shrink instantly.
"Yes, sorry," replied Aretha lowering her head.

Her night. Although time was very late, Aretha was still awake, thinking about what was the question at that time.
"Why does David look like he hates Fathur sir, what is the real problem?" lirih Aretha while looking at the ceiling of her room.
Instantly the sound of the door knobs made Aretha flinch and resuscitated her from the daydream. Aretha slightly raised her head, looking towards the door, looking at David who had just walked into the room. The man had just finished his work in the study.
"Darling, you haven't slept?" david asked as he approached his wife.
"Can't sleep" whined Aretha.
David let out a short sigh, then went up and lay down on the bed, right next to Aretha. "Why? Is there something you're thinking?" david asked as he pulled the blanket over, covering his body.
Aretha just nodded her head while looking at her husband.
David put out his smile. "Yes, here" he said, pulling Aretha's body into his arms.
"You don't want to know what I'm thinking?" ask Aretha.
"I know, so I don't have to ask anymore, do I?" answer David.
"If you know, why not answer?" aretha asked slightly looking up at her husband's face.
"It's not time. Now it's time to rest. Come, sleep!" pinta David closed his eyes.
"Mas ..," Aretha whined as if demanding an explanation from her husband, thus making David re-open his eyes.
David took a long breath. "What do you want to know?" ask David.
"I asked you this afternoon, Mom" replied Aretha.
"I'll tell you, after you tell me what Fathur said, after the meeting?" ask David.
Aretha paused for a moment, thinking. "All right, I'll tell you a story" replied Aretha.
Aretha also began to tell the conversation with Fathur as much detail as possible. In fact, he also told of an accidental encounter with Fathur at the bookstore.
Hearing Aretha's story, obviously David immediately boarded the apitam. How not? However, Fathur tried to seduce his wife, and she did not want that. He will not let anyone tempt his wife, including Fathur, the man who used to be his closest friend.
"And you just shut up, when he tried to tease you, huh?" david said as he widened his eyes, after hearing a story from his wife. He seemed to lift his body up until his position sat down.
"Lho, I said what he should know, you think I'm quiet, Mas? I acknowledge my status as a wife, I also acknowledge that I already have children, and even I acknowledge my age which has reached the head of three, even though he considers me much younger. Do you think I'm quiet?" annoyed Aretha, after what he had done to keep the integrity of his household, even though Fathur did not seem to care about all that.
"How dare the boy tease my wife" growled David.
"So?" ask Aretha who still demands an explanation from her husband.
"He was my friend in High School" replied David.
"Then?" Aretha began to sit her body in front of David.
"Ultimately, we were so close. Real close. It's just that, we get involved in one misunderstanding, thus making our friendship tenuous. Finally, Fathur hated me so much, so I was afraid when you got close to him. I'm sure he's planning something to get back at me. So, I beg you to be careful, don't let him into our lives, and ruin everything we've worked so hard to build. You promise?" obviously at length with an end to a request.
"I'll definitely do what you ask, Mom. But, I was confused, what about my contract with him. I can't unilaterally cancel that, can I?" aretha.
"I'll take care of everything" replied David.
"I can tell what your problems are?" ask Aretha a little doubt.
Instantly David recalled the shadow of a few years ago that was still recorded clearly in the memory of his brain. The shadow of the first time their friendship intertwined, and grew increasingly familiar, when the figure of a girl was present in their midst. However, the presence of the girl also made their friendship destroyed until now.
David begins to tell his story with Fathur to Aretha.
