David seemed to be pacing back and forth indistinctly while holding his eel. Occasionally he gave a massage on his forehead, because dizziness was still thinking about how the fate of his daughter at that time.
Until that second Richard did not give him any news of their whereabouts, thus making David feel anxious and unsettled. In fact, he did not want to eat and bathe, because he thought too much about his daughter. The clothes he was wearing were still office clothes that he had not been able to change.
His anxiety grew even more, as he attempted to contact Richard, but Richard did not receive his call at all. David was increasingly made to ride the apoplexy, repeatedly he groaned in frustration.
"That's it, Mas .. You calm down first. Later Aruna also came home," said Aretha who had noticed her husband's unclear activities.
"Quiet, calm down, do you think Aruna is what until I can't worry about her? He's our innocent son. Lookie! In fact, Richard did not want to take a call from me" David grumbled as he showed his phone to his wife.
"Obviously Brother Richard won't take your call, Mas, wong from earlier you've been angry with him," Inward Aretha responded.
"Look! What time is it? Maybe he could have brought a child this late!" David seemed to point towards the wall clock with a face that could not be read.
"It's only nine o'clock, Mas. It's not too late, really," thumped Aretha.
"It's not too late for us adults, but for kids like Aruna? He should have rested at this hour, not even still carried around out there," argued David.
"Yes, we'll wait, maybe Aruna will be home soon" Aretha replied.
"I have to call Rendy, maybe she knows where Richard is right now" David sighed as he scrolled up his phone's screen looking for Rendy's contact name on his phone. He immediately pressed the call button, after finding the contact number in question.
"Hallo, Dave," said Rendy across the street.
"Ren, you know where Richard is?" ask David without making small talk.
"Richard?" Rendy was silent for a moment. "No, Bro. Wh why? It looks serious?" tanyanya.
"He's got Aruna, he hasn't come home yet."
"WHAT?" Rendy sounded very surprised at David's statement. "From when?" ask again.
"So late in the afternoon" answered David.
"Seriously lo?"
"Where might I lie. He said he wanted to take my daughter to dinner. Weird no?" david clear.
"Lo's suspicious of Richard, Bro?"
"According to you?"
"Not to overdo it. Richard couldn't have done anything to your daughter" Rendy recalled.
"Ck! It's the same!"
Just now David ended his chat with Rendy, suddenly heard the sound of a car in front of his house that can be ascertained that it was Richard's car.
"That must be him!" he said cynically, then immediately went from the middle room to the front room and came out to welcome the arrival of Richard and Aruna.
David seemed to walk a little hastily with anger still reflected in the look of his face.
Richard was carrying Aruna out of his car.
"What is my son?" david asked furiously, when he saw Aruna unconscious.
"Ck!" David clucked in annoyance, then immediately grabbed Aruna from Richard's hand. "Let me take it," he said forcefully.
Intentionally eager David scolded Richard right then and there. However, for some reason his heart seemed to tell him not to do that to his own best friend. David finally chose to be quiet. He immediately brought Aruna into the house.
"Re, sorry, it makes you anxious" Richard told Aretha.
Aretha smiled knot. "Next time don't repeat something like this, pity her papa panic," replied Aretha.
Richard chuckled, before responding to Aretha's words. "It's okay, let it go" he said as if unconcerned by David's anger at the time.
"Sister Richard, it's so nice to make David anxious. In fact, he did not want to eat, bathe and change clothes. Look, he's still wearing his work clothes."
Hearing Aretha Richard's statement even more chuckling.
"Well, it looks like I should go home soon, before he comes back and gives me an irregular toy," said Richard, looking for safety.
"alright. Be careful, brother," replied Aretha.
Richard got back in his car, started the car and got out of the yard, just as David had returned after putting his daughter to bed in the room.
"Where is he?" david asked as he did not find Richard there.
"Just come home, Mas," replied Aretha casually.
"Geez, why did you let him leave just like that, anyway? In fact, I haven't spoken to him yet. And her? He does not apologize to us at all for his actions that took Aruna without permission" David said.
"It has. He apologized to me, Mas. That's why he came straight home. Do not extend it. Well, Richard didn't do anything either, did he?" aretha wants to put an end to all of that.
"But—"
"Ah come on, Mas. Our son is fine. Stop suspecting Richard's sister like that" cut Aretha off as she moved into the house.
David immediately followed his wife from behind without wanting to stop talking about Richard. However, none of them were responded to by Aretha, so David finally chose to be quiet.
Aretha walked towards the Kitchen, then prepared some dinner menu on the dining table. David seemed to be standing there while watching the activities of the wife.
Instantly Aretha looked up— looked at her husband, after he managed to arrange all the food on the dining table.
"Mas, let's eat!" bring Aretha. However, David simply stayed in place, then let out a long sigh. "Aren't you hungry? Yes already, if you don't want to eat, I won't eat either" Aretha added slightly threateningly.
Aretha knew who her husband was. David could at least see him not eating. In fact, the wife became late to eat like that, even though she knew that Aretha's stomach was often problematic.
Again David let out a long sigh, then walked up to the dining table and sat down on the chair he used to sit in.
"You should not overdo it with Richard, Mas" Aretha said as she poured rice into David's plate. "I'm afraid that later he will be offended, because you are too bad to think, Mas. He's your friend, you know. I don't want ya, your friendship is broken just because of trivial problems like this," he added at length.
"But, this time he's been completely outrageous, dear. I'm worried, you know. What if Aruna's sick?" reply David.
"So, worried for fear of our daughter being sick, isn't it because of fear of anyone else like Richard's sister?" sindir Aretha while putting the dishes that have been filled with rice and side dishes in front of David.
"Ck! Yes ... that too," replied David grumpily.
"That's it, just relax. Nothing's gonna happen to our son, trust me."
