After successfully gaining a legitimate identity and regaining a relationship with their biological mother, the beggar's group of children feel their lives have changed drastically. They now have the ability to find a more decent job and live with more dignity. Despite that, they never forget their struggles on the streets and the friendship that has bound them so tightly.
Today is a bright and cheerful day. They all gathered in the city park, sitting under shady trees while enjoying the warm sunlight. Aryan carries his guitar, Maya carries a harmonica, Rizal carries a tambourine, Dian carries a small violin, and Irfan carries himself, who has now fully recovered.
They start their music with passion, creating a beautiful groove that fills the garden with happiness. The townspeople passing through the park paused for a moment to listen to their music. Some of them gave applause, and some even joined in their chants.
As they played music, Irfan said, "Who would believe that we used to be beggar kids living on the streets?"
Maya smiles. "We have been through so much, and we have learned so much from that experience. We have become stronger and wiser."
Rizal added, "And most importantly, we have each other. Our friendship is a priceless treasure."
Suddenly, a middle-aged woman who was walking in the park approached them. He looked classy, wore expensive clothes, and carried a luxurious bag. The woman smiled at them, and the group of beggars stopped playing music for a moment.
The woman said, "I've heard about your great story. I want to contribute to supporting your extraordinary efforts."
Dian replied sincerely, "Thank you, Mother. We really appreciate it."
The woman took some money out of her bag and gave it to them. "May this help you in starting a new life."
They all thanked me with gratitude. The woman left with a warm smile, leaving the group of beggars in happiness.
Irfan clasped the money he had just received and said, "This is a sign that there are many good people in this world who care about others. We should always be grateful for the support and empathy we receive."
While they were playing music and enjoying their moment in the park, they saw a little boy playing around them. The boy had shabby clothes and looked hungry. Quickly, Irfan took some of the money they had just received and gave it to the boy.
The boy was surprised and thanked them. Rizal said softly, "We know what it feels like to have nothing. We want to help you, like the people who helped us."
They all felt warm in their hearts when they saw the boy's smile. They know that they will never forget their struggles on the streets and will always have a deep sense of empathy for those less fortunate.
As the sun began to sink and the garden became darker, they knew that they had to part ways soon. They gathered in small circles and joined hands.
Aryan said, "We have gone through many conflicts in our lives, but we have also found a lot of kindness and empathy in this world. May we always be a source of good for others."
Maya added, "We have learned that friendship is a priceless treasure. Let's always keep our friendship well."
Dian smiled and closed their adage, "And let's always feel grateful for all that we have, be it big things or small things."
They hugged each other, feeling grateful for all the experiences they had shared. Although their struggle is not yet over, they are ready to face the future with their heads held high, full of empathy, and with the belief that their friendship is an irreplaceable source of strength in their lives
The lives of beggar's children have changed so much since they managed to gain a legitimate identity and begin their new journey towards a better life. However, as is often the case in life, havoc can come unannounced. And that night, a great calamity approached them.
That night, the dark sky was covered in thick clouds, and the wind was blowing fiercely. They gathered under a bridge that used to be where they slept. The bonfire they lit gave off a hint of light and warmth in the cold of the night. They sat together around the campfire, telling stories and laughing, like a real family.
Suddenly, the rain started to fall. At first it was just a drizzle, but within seconds, the rain became heavy. They were all screaming and running around looking for shelter, but they did not have many options. Heavy rain had washed all their equipment.
They took shelter under the bridge, but the rain was getting heavier and rushed in. Aryan shouted, "Hurry, find a higher place!"
They ran as far as they could, but the water continued to rise rapidly. In the blink of an eye, the water had reached their knees. They tried to remain calm, but panic began to slip into their minds.
Irfan tries to hold Maya who is about to fall, and Rizal tries to keep Dian from being dragged by the current. All their movements were done with great difficulty, as the water was increasingly flowing profusely. Aryan who has always been the leader of this group tried to think of a solution. "We should try to reach the higher stairs to the top of this bridge!"
They grabbed each other and tried to navigate the rising waters with great effort. Eventually, they reached a higher staircase under the bridge. They all took a deep breath, feeling grateful to be alive.
However, their mood suddenly changed when they realized that all their gear had been washed away by the water. The guitar, harmonica, small violin, tambourine, and other items they had were now somewhere they didn't know about.
Maya cries, feeling the loss of things that have become an important part of their lives. "All our memories are there, all the music we play."
Rizal grabbed her hand and tried to give her a little support. "We still have each other. Those things can be replaced."
Dian tried to calm everyone down. "Most importantly, we're still alive. Those things are just things."
Irfan felt guilty. "I should be more vigilant. I almost lost you all."
Aryan said sincerely, "There's nothing wrong, Irfan. We all survive and that's all that matters."
That night they slept under a wet bridge. They hugged to feel warmer and more comfortable. Although they lost their valuables, they never lost empathy and support for each other.
The morning came, and they woke up feeling tired and cold. They rushed in search of the remaining supplies, which were just some wet clothes and a little food. They know that they have to find a new place to sleep and try to recover from the overnight catastrophe.
