The beggar boy group has continued their journey to help people in need. Every day, they try to make the world a better place with their acts of kindness. However, not everyone they meet always accepts their help with pleasure.
On a sunny morning, the group was at a crowded train station. They were discussing about their plans today when a beautiful flight attendant in a neat uniform and a luxurious handbag flashed in front of them. However, his facial expression was fierce, and he looked extremely busy.
Irfan, who had always been the bravest in the group, approached the flight attendant. "Sorry, Mom. Would you like to buy snacks to support our mission?"
The flight attendant looked at Irfan sharply, "Why should I buy snacks from you guys? I'm busy and don't have time for that."
Maya tries to explain gently, "We are beggars trying to help people in need. The money we collect is used to feed and help those less fortunate."
The flight attendant snorted skeptically. "Nobody believes in beggars like you. All this could have been a trick."
Rizal tried to ease the tension. "I'm sorry if we're interrupting, ma'am. We're just trying to do something good. If you don't want to support us, it doesn't matter."
The flight attendant continued at a fast pace. Irfan, Maya, Rizal, and Dian are a little disappointed by the flight attendant's reaction, but they know that not everyone will support their mission.
They continue their journey to the market, where they plan to buy food and other necessities to share with people in need. As they shopped, they approached a local fruit dealer who was arranging fresh fruits on a wooden table.
The fruit merchant was a middle-aged man with messy gray hair. He looked tired and hurt in his legs. This group of beggar children felt sorry to see the condition of the merchant.
Dian approached the merchant with a friendly smile. "Sir, is there anything we can help? Maybe we can buy some fruit from you."
The fruit merchant turned his head and looked at the group of beggars. He was initially skeptical, but seeing their sincere smiles, he began to feel more comfortable. "Of course, Son. Please choose the fruit you want."
Maya chooses some fruit and puts it on the table. "How much is it, sir?"
The fruit dealer smiled. "You can choose as much. No need to pay."
The group of beggars were shocked. They didn't expect this. Rizal insisted, "But, sir, we want to pay. We don't want to ask for anything for free."
The fruit dealer nodded. "I know that you are beggars trying to do something good. Let this be my act of kindness today. May you succeed in your mission."
Touched, the group of beggars thanked the fruit merchant and continued their journey. They were happy because even though there were people who were skeptical of them, there were still others who cared and supported their mission.
When evening came, they returned to where they had spent the night. They sat together under the beautiful twilight sky, pondering about their day.
"Although not everyone supports us, at least we managed to give acts of kindness to people in need," Dian said with a sincere smile.
Maya added, "We must continue on this mission. Goodness will always be there, even behind the absence of a smile."
Irfan agrees, "And we will continue to look for ways to make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time."
Night came, and they slept with hearts filled with hope and determination to continue their mission the next day. Although not everyone will understand their good intentions, they know that kindness always has a place in this world.
The beggar boy group continues on their mission to help people in need. Every day they faced various challenges, but their spirit never faded. However, one day, they encounter a situation that truly tests their patience and kindness.
They had reached a town far from where they normally were. The city is known for its severe poverty problems. Without a doubt, they started to go around looking for people who needed their help. While walking in the middle of the crowded city, Irfan, Maya, Rizal, and Dian saw an old man sitting by the side of the road with a pinch of money on his hat. The man looked extremely tired and skinny, and his eyes emitted a deep sadness.
They approached the man with an empathetic heart. "Sir, are you okay?" asked Irfan in a soft voice.
The old man looked at them with eyes filled with suspicion. "What do you want?"
Maya explained gently, "We just want to help, sir. We are a group of beggars trying to provide help to those in need."
The old man laughed cynically. "You think I need your help? You're all the same, trying to steal my money!"
Rizal tried to ease the tension. "We're not trying to steal your money, sir. We just want to help you."
However, the old man was still skeptical. He looked at them intently before saying, "If you want to help, just give me your money, and get out of here!"
This group of beggar children knew that the old man had experienced a lot of hardships in his life, which might make him become so skeptical of others. Although they know that they should not ignore a request for help, they should not feel offended.
Dian softly said, "Sir, we will give you our money gladly, but we also want to help you in other ways. Do you need food or other items that we can buy for you?"
The old man pondered for a moment, then nodded. "All right, bring me some food. But never come back here!"
This group of beggars went to a nearby store and bought enough food for a few days. When they returned to the old man, they placed the food in front of him.
The old man looked surprised and grateful. "Thank you" he said in a trembling voice. "You are different from the others. You are the beggars who really care."
Maya smiles. "We just want to do our best to help people like you, sir."
After delivering food, the group continues their journey through the city filled with difficulties. They were talking about the old man they met earlier.
Rizal said, "He may have hurt us with his words, but we must understand that he has been through a lot in his life. We can't judge him fast."
Irfan agrees, "Many people out there may feel hurt or marginalized. We should keep trying to help, even if they don't always respond well."
Dian added, "What matters is that we have done the best we can. We cannot control the reactions of others, but we can control our own actions."
The night came, and they returned to where they had spent the night. They slept with a peaceful mind, knowing that they had done their best to help the old man who had once hurt them with his words. They also know that their journey to provide acts of kindness will continue, no matter how many obstacles they face along the way.
