The Story of the Little Beggar
Disaster in the Amazon Rainforest

Melati and Aiden continue to explore the Amazon rainforest in high spirits. They have learned so much about the beauty of nature and the importance of preserving the environment. However, fate has prepared a great challenge for them on this journey.

That morning, as they were walking along the banks of the rushing river, they heard a rumbling sound approaching. The two children looked at each other with anxious expressions. The rumbling sounds grew louder, and they realized that it was the sound of a flood.

The once calm river had now become ferocious. The water overflowed and destroyed everything in its path. The big trees were swept away by the torrent, and the forest beasts were desperately trying to save themselves.

Melati and Aiden were panicking. They knew they had to find a safe place. They ran up a steep hill to avoid the approaching flood. Their bodies felt heavy by the equipment and bags they were carrying, but they had no choice but to keep running.

They finally reached the top of the hill and saw the scene that stopped them for a moment. The flood had engulfed the part of the forest they had passed through before, destroying everything in its path. The trees were uprooted, and many animals looked panicked.

Aiden said with a breath of breath, "Sister, this is really terrible. We have to try to figure out a way to get out of here."

Melati took it seriously, "Yes, Aiden. We need to find higher ground, away from this floodwater. I hope the water doesn't go up to here."

The two of them continued walking towards the higher part of the forest. However, the longer it took, the more the flood water approached them. They feel more depressed and worried.

As they reached a higher area, they saw a small cave under the cliff. Melati said, "We can take refuge there until the flood recedes. Quick in!"

They entered the cave and sat in it with breaths of breath. They waited anxiously while hearing the rumbling sounds of the approaching flood waters. They could only hope that the water would not reach this cave.

A few hours passed, and finally the sound of the flood began to subside. Melati and Aiden came out of the cave and saw a devastating scene in the surroundings. The forest they love has suffered great damage. Trees were uprooted and many animals were injured or missing.

Aiden said in a sad tone, "Sister, this is so tragic. This forest is home to so many creatures, and now everything is destroyed."

Melati felt tears fill her eyes. "Yes, Aiden. We have to do something to help this nature recover. We have to figure out a way to reforest this area and help the injured animals."

The two of them spent the next few days helping the injured animals and taking care of the nature that had been damaged. They realize that their journey is not only about exploration, but also about the responsibility to keep this nature.

In the destruction they encounter, Melati and Aiden find new strength to continue their fight. They want to share their stories with others, inspiring them to also take part in environmental conservation efforts.

They realize that the challenges they face during this journey are only the beginning of their long journey to protect the Amazon rainforest and nature as a whole. With high spirits and strong determination, they together stepped forward, ready to face everything

"The two of you are a breath of fresh air for us" Luis told Melati and Aiden. "We need more young people who care about the future of the planet."

In their struggle-filled journey, Melati and Aiden feel closer to each other. They are not only siblings, but also true friends and partners in their mission to protect nature. They learn from each other and inspire each other.

One day, while they were resting under the shade of a large tree, Aiden said, "Sister, I feel lucky to have you as a sister. You are my source of inspiration."
