Rizal is a close friend of Dian and Irfan since High School. He was always in their midst, bearing witness from the beginning of Dian and Irfan's relationship to the present. Rizal is a cheerful, energetic person, and has a nature that can always make people around him feel comfortable. He is the type of person who is always reliable and encountered when there is a problem.
However, there was one thing that he had been hiding from his friends all along. Something only he knows, for fear of disturbing a long-established friendship. Rizal loves Dian. This love grows silently, as time goes on and many happy memories with Dian. However, he always kept his distance, fearing that his confession of feelings would ruin their friendship.
One day, after an altercation between Maya and Irfan, Rizal feels that he can no longer keep his own feelings. She feels guilty to herself and Dian if she keeps hiding her love. So, she decides to come see Dian, with the intention to express her feelings.
Rizal came to Dian's house one sunny afternoon. He knocked on the door trembling, his feelings mixed between nervousness and determination. When Dian opened the door and saw Rizal there, he smiled kindly.
"Hi, Rizal. What's up?" ask Dian warmly.
Rizal replied nervously, "Can I come in, Dian? There's something I want to talk about."
Dian nodded, letting Rizal into her house. They were sitting in the living room, and Rizal felt his heart rate getting tighter. He knew that this was a good time to express his feelings.
"Dian, I want to talk about something important" Rizal said, trying to keep his cool.
Dian looked at Rizal with curiosity in her eyes. "Of course, Rizal. What do you want to say?"
Rizal took a deep breath. "Dian, you are the most special woman in my life. I know we're very good friends, and I'm grateful to have you in my life. But, all this time I've felt like there's something I've never told you."
Dian listened attentively, not saying anything, but her eyes continued to look at Rizal with shock.
Rizal continued, "Dian, I love you. I don't know when these feelings arise, but all this time I loved you sincerely. I know you and Irfan are a very happy couple, and I don't want to interrupt your relationship. But, I can no longer keep this feeling to myself."
Dian was silent for a moment, her eyes full of mixed feelings. He knew that Rizal was a good and sincere friend, and this confession obviously took him by surprise. However, he also felt moved by Rizal's courage to express his feelings.
"Dian, I didn't ask anything from you. I just want you to know how I feel" Rizal said expectantly.
Dian smiled gently. "Rizal, I really appreciate your honesty. I never expected this, but I know how valuable our friendship is. We're very good friends, and I want us to stay like this."
Rizal was relieved to hear Dian's words. "Thank you, Dian. I don't want this to ruin our friendship, but I can't hide my feelings either."
On a sunny morning, Irfan sat on the porch of his house sipping a cup of coffee. The natural atmosphere around him was so calm, with sunlight slowly shining down on his yard. However, Irfan's heart felt uneasy. She knows she should be happy with everything she has - a successful job, a comfortable home, and of course, Dian, the woman she loves so much.
However, in the past few weeks, feelings of jealousy began to creep into his heart. Since Rizal's confession about his feelings for Dian, Irfan felt that he needed to be more vigilant. She knows that Dian loves her, but she is afraid that Rizal may have a place in Dian's heart that is bigger than she thought.
Dian, who was aware of the change in Irfan's attitude, sat down beside him on the porch and looked at him attentively. "Irfan, what are you thinking? You've been worried lately."
Irfan looked at her with a faint smile. "Oh, it's nothing, Dian. Just work and all that."
Dian was unsure of Irfan's explanation, but she didn't want to force him to speak if he wasn't ready. As a psychologist, Dian knows that people need time and space to talk about their own feelings.
A few days later, Irfan gets an invitation to attend the birthday party of one of his friends. Dian was also invited, and they were getting ready together to go to the event. Irfan feels that this is an opportunity for him to show Dian how much he loves her, and he hopes to overcome his feelings of jealousy.
However, when they arrive at the birthday party, Irfan sees Dian and Rizal talking to her. They laughed together and looked very comfortable with each other. Irfan's jealous feelings intensified, and he felt as if something was wrong.
Irfan tried not to think about it, but the jealousy kept haunting him all night. When they returned home, he could no longer hide his feelings.
"Irfan, is something wrong?" ask Dian attentively.
Irfan took a deep breath. "Dian, I felt so jealous when I saw you and Rizal together. I know that he's your best friend, but I feel like something's not right."
Dian grabbed Irfan's hand gently. "Irfan, I love you, only you. Rizal is a good friend of mine, yes, but I've never seen him more than that. I want you to know that you are the most important person in my life."
Irfan was relieved to hear Dian's words, and he regretted that he had ever doubted Dian's feelings for her. "I'm sorry, Dian. I know this is my problem, and I have to learn to trust you completely."
Dian smiled gently. "Everyone has moments when they feel jealous, Irfan. What matters is how we handle it together. We can get through this together."
Irfan nodded, feeling happy that he had Dian always supporting him. They both know that their love will always overcome any jealousy or mistrust that may arise. The natural atmosphere around them was still calm, but in their hearts, they knew that their relationship would always be the number one priority in their lives.
