Irfan and Dian walk together away from the farewell spot with Maya and Rizal. They felt empty of the separation, but also full of hope for a future that awaits.
"The future seems like a scary thing, huh?" irfan said, trying to remove the silence that hung between them.
Dian nodded, his eyes focused on the sky that was starting to darken. "Yes, sometimes it's scary. But that's what makes life interesting, isn't it? Possibilities that have not been revealed."
They walked along the banks of the river flowing quietly under the moonlight. The gurgling sound of water gave them tranquility. They do not need to talk much, simply enjoy each other's presence in silence.
After a while, Irfan reached out his hand and grabbed Dian's hand. She smiled at him, trying to cheer him up. "We'll be fine, Dian. We've been through so much together, we can definitely deal with whatever comes."
Dian smiled, feeling better with Irfan's words. "Yes, we can. We're a great team, aren't we?"
Irfan nodded firmly. "Best team."
They walked further, following a stream that led them to a dense forest. The moonlight illuminated their path, creating mysterious shadows under the shady trees.
As they walked deeper into the forest, Dian felt something strange. He felt a tremor under his feet, almost like a force pulling him.
"Irfan, do you feel it too?" dian asked, his eyes twitching in wonder.
Irfan nodded, his expression full of confusion. "Yes, I feel it too. There's something weird here."
They kept walking, following the tremors. The longer, the stronger the vibration, until they finally arrived at a very beautiful place. In front of them, there was a small lake surrounded by colorful flowers that bloomed under the moonlight.
"Wow," said Dian with a gasp of breath. "It's so beautiful."
The lake was really like something from within a fairy tale. The water is clear, and the flowers floating on it create a stunning panorama.
Suddenly, something moved between the flowers. From the water, a group of colorful fish danced in the moonlight.
Irfan and Dian were fascinated. They sat by the lake, staring at this incredible natural show. The tremors they felt earlier seemed to have originated from this place, from the beauty that was before them.
"This place is amazing" Dian said in a soft voice. "I've never seen anything like this before."
Irfan agrees. "This is one of those surprises waiting for us in the future, Dian. We have to be ready to face it."
Dian smiled, feeling more confident with Irfan's words. They may not know what they will face next, but they know that they will face it together.
They sat by the lake all night, enjoying the magnificent beauty of nature and contemplating the future that awaited them. Although their life journey is full of obstacles and uncertainties, they know that as long as they are together, they will be able to deal with it.
And watching the fishes dancing in the moonlit lake, they allowed themselves to be carried away by feelings of calm and happiness, enjoying each moment together. And they know that whatever happens, they will face it together, because their friendship is a priceless treasure in their unexpected journey of life.
Irfan sits on a small hill overlooking the sea. A cool breeze caressed his face, and the sun set slowly on the western horizon, creating dazzling orange and red colors in the sky. He had never seen such a beautiful sunset.
He held something in his hand, something he had long since carefully stored. It was a letter, a letter he had written repeatedly but never sent. He knows he has to do it now.
Dian, the girl who always fills her days with laughter and cheerfulness. The girl who was always by his side, in every important moment of his life. The girl who had become an inseparable part of him.
Irfan sighed deeply, trying to summarize all his feelings into words. The letter was the best way to reveal everything.
"Dian, uh,
I love you, Dian. I love you in a way that's hard to express. Every time I see you, my heart beats. Every time I hear your laughter, the world stops turning.
We've been through so much together, Dian. We have become true friends, companions in every adventure, and escorts in every struggle. But something's different now. I feel like something is missing if you are not beside me, and I feel complete when you are there.
I know that I may be late in saying it. Maybe you have found someone better, someone who can give you what you should get. But I can no longer keep this feeling. I want you to know, even though I'm afraid of what might happen next.
But most importantly, Dian, I want the best for you. If your heart has turned to someone else, I will be happy for you. But if there is a spark of hope, a speck of possibility that you feel the same way, then I want us to try.
Accept this letter as the deepest expression of my heart. I don't want to expect anything from you, except an honest answer. If you feel the same way, say. If not, then let me know so I can let you go.
Dian, I love you. That's what I want to say."
Irfan stared at the letter for a moment before folding it carefully. She did not know how Dian would react later, but she felt relieved that she had finally expressed her feelings.
As she stuffed the letter into the envelope and wrote Dian's name outside the envelope with trembling hands, she felt like the burden she had been carrying had been slightly reduced.
When she arrived at Dian's house, she saw a light inside the house. He knew that this was a good opportunity to deliver the letter in person. He took a deep breath and walked towards the front door.
But when he approached, he heard Dian's sobbing voice. He paused for a moment, hesitating whether he should enter or wait outside.
"Why is she crying?" irfan murmuring.
Finally, he decided to enter the house. He knocked on the door and gently entered it.
Dian sat on the sofa with her hands covering her face. He looked devastated, and his sobbing voice filled the room. When he saw Irfan enter, he immediately wiped the tears from his eyes and tried to smile.
"Irfan, what are you doing here?" he asked, his voice sounding weak.
Irfan approached her with a slow step. "I came to say something, Dian."
Dian nodded, his eyes radiating curiosity and confusion.
Irfan gave the envelope containing the letter to Dian. "Read this, Dian. It's important."
Dian received the envelope anxiously. He opened it slowly, and as he began to read the contents of the letter, his eyes began to glaze over again. Tears simply flowed, and she could not hold back her emotions.
Irfan sat next to Dian, embracing her tightly. "I'm sorry, Dian. I didn't mean to make you sad."
Dian looked at Irfan with eyes full of tears. "Irfan, I don't know what to say."
Irfan smiled bitterly. "Tell me how you feel, Dian. That's what I want."
Dian placed the letter on the table and looked sincerely at Irfan. "Irfan, I love you too."
Hearing those words, Irfan's heart surged in excitement. She was unable to hold back her happiness and kissed Dian gently, wiping away the tears on her cheeks.
They sat side by side on the sofa, letting their feelings flow to each other. For Irfan and Dian, the world seems to stop spinning, and there are only two of them, loving each other in meaningful silence. This is the beginning of a new chapter in their life journey, and they are both ready to face it together.
