The Story of the Little Beggar

The Story of the Little Beggar
Sweetheart in Togetherness

Summer passes quickly, and autumn comes with colorful foliage falling. Aryan, Maya, Dian, and Rizal are still living their lives on the streets of the city, but they have found a small family-like community among their fellow beggars. Together they share stories, food, and warmth in the cold of the night.

One cool afternoon, as they gathered under a bridge that had long been their shelter, Rizal began a conversation. "We've been through a lot together, and I feel so grateful to have you as my brothers."

Maya smiled and nodded in agreement. "We are family in the true sense. We support each other in everything."

Dian added, "We are proof that happiness is not about having a lot of possessions, but about having people who care around us."

Aryan agrees, "We may not have a home or possessions, but we have priceless love and friendship."

They lifted their plastic cups containing hot tea they made from boiling water and the teabags they found in the trash. They sipped the tea with a feeling of gratitude and warmth.

As the sun went down, they continued to talk about their dreams. Rizal said excitedly, "I want to one day be able to learn more about music and become a great musician."

Maya said, "I want to help children who are in difficult situations like ours. I want to open a help center for them."

Dian added, "And I want to learn about psychology like Ms. Sarah who once helped us. I want to help others in their mental struggles."

Aryan smiled, "And I want to find a stable job and a decent place to live for all of us. I want us all to have a better life."

They tell stories of their dreams with gusto, and as they speak, their eyes shine with hope and determination to make those dreams come true someday.

Suddenly, from a distance, they heard a shocking voice echoing among the tall buildings in the city. The voice got closer, and they saw several dozen people wearing red clothes and hats running up to them.

A blond man with a beard greeted them, "Hello! We are volunteers from a non-profit organization that provides assistance to those in need. We heard about your community and want to help."

Maya, who was always cautious, asked suspiciously, "What attracted you to us?"

The man smiled gently. "We believe that everyone deserves help and kindness in life. We want to provide food, warm clothing, and temporary shelter for all of you."

Their eyes shone with shock and gratitude. They never expected that help would come so suddenly and so great.

Rizal asked expectantly, "What do you want in return?"

The man laughed. "We don't want anything in return. We just want to help you. We are all part of this society, and we should care for each other."

Within a few days, with the help of the non-profit organization, Aryan, Maya, Dian, and Rizal get comfortable temporary shelter and enough food. They feel happy and grateful for the kindness they receive.

However, they also did not forget about their friends on the streets who were still struggling. They return to places they used to visit and share food, clothing, and warmth with the people around them. They want to keep the spirit of kindness that has been given to them in order to continue.

As night fell, they regrouped under a bridge that now looked brighter and warmer. They know that their lives have changed, but they also know that they still have a responsibility to help others.

Maya says with determination, "We have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, as good people have done to us."

Dian added, "We will use this kindness as an encouragement to realize our dreams and help others."

Rizal calms them down with a gentle melody of his serula. "Our music will continue to inspire and strengthen our souls."

Aryan concluded, "We are a family that shares love and hope. We will live this life with gratitude and share the good with the world."

Under the brightly shining stars, they are united in their commitment to make this world a better place. Even though they had gotten help, they knew that the kindness they spread would have a much greater impact in turning this world into a better place for everyone.

Winter has returned, and Aryan, Maya, Dian, and Rizal continue to live their lives in the city. They have secured temporary shelter and help from a kind-hearted nonprofit organization, but they have never forgotten their roots in the streets and the small communities they have built there.

The atmosphere of the city when winter arrives always brings new challenges. The roads they traveled became slippery by the falling snow, and the cold wind pierced to the bone. They must remain vigilant so as not to fall or lose the items they have.

One day, while they were playing music near a crowded subway station, they met a young man named Irfan. Irfan was a talented violinist, and he often performed there for a living.

Irfan approached them with a smile. "Hi, I've heard you guys play music here a few times. You guys are so good!"

Aryan answered kindly, "Thank you, Irfan. We also admire your violin. You're really talented."

They talked further, and Irfan finally invited them to play together. Rizal and Irfan played a beautiful duet, and the atmosphere became more lively with their music.

However, a few weeks later, when they met again, the atmosphere became different. Irfan seemed a bit jealous of their success. They have started to get more attention from the audience and raise more money than ever before.

Irfan tried to smile, but his expression was not entirely sincere. "You're getting popular here, huh?"

Maya replied humbly, "We're just lucky to have the support of such a kind-hearted audience."

Dian added, "We're all music players who put in a lot of effort."

However, this change is not just happening in his music. They noticed that Irfan started looking around for mistakes in their game and gave less supportive advice. Maya, who is always sensitive to mood swings, feels something is wrong.

One night, after their show was over, Irfan approached them with an angry expression. "You have to be more humble, you know! You're not the only talented music player here!"

Rizal tried to calm the situation down. "We don't mean to demean anyone, Irfan. We just want to play music and share happiness with people."

Aryan added, "We all have different talents. There is no need for competition between us."

However, Irfan remained angry and left them feeling dissatisfied. They felt sad to see Irfan change in attitude, as they had once enjoyed playing with him.

A few days passed, and the relationship between them and Irfan grew strained. They feel that something is up in their relationship, and they don't know how to handle it.

One night, while they were gathering at their temporary residence, they decided to talk about the matter. Rizal started the conversation. "We need to address the problem with Irfan. I miss the good relationship we had with her."

Maya agrees. "But how can we overcome his feelings? It seems he's jealous of our success."

Dian tried to find a solution. "Maybe we can try to talk to him openly and honestly, make him understand that we don't want to compete with him."

Aryan added, "We can tell him that we appreciate his talent and want to continue playing music with him without any competition."

Their decision to talk to Irfan was finally taken. They search for Irfan in a place where they usually play music, and when they find him, they invite him to sit down together.

Rizal started the conversation gently. "Irfan, we feel that something is up in our relationship these days. We want to talk about your feelings."

Irfan looked surprised, but he was willing to listen. "What do you mean?"

Maya explains, "We feel that you may feel jealous of the success we've had lately. We want to make it clear that we are not your rivals, but friends who want to play music together."

Dian added, "We appreciate your talent and want to learn from you. We can grow together as musical performers."

Aryan concluded, "We all have something different to share, and competition won't help us. We want to keep our relationship okay."

Irfan pondered for a moment, then he smiled. "I'm sorry if I look jealous. I've just been feeling depressed lately, and it's made me kind of lose my way."

Rizal calms him down. "It's okay, Irfan. We all feel depressed sometimes. The important thing is that we can talk about our feelings and find solutions together."

They finally embrace Irfan in their togetherness. That night, they played music together with true harmony, without competition or jealousy. They know that friendship and support for each other is the most important thing in their lives.

Winter passed, and their relationship with Irfan became stronger than ever. They learn that sometimes, when conflicts arise, it is best to speak openly and honestly with each other. In their togetherness, they continue to share music and kindness with the world, showing that love and friendship are what make this life more precious.

The winter passed and was replaced by a warm spring. Aryan, Maya, Dian, Rizal, and Irfan continue to play music together in different corners of the city, enjoying a hopeful season. Their relationship with Irfan grew closer, and they felt that they had gone through all the conflicts before.

One sunny morning, while they were playing in a crowded city park, they saw a woman who looked tired and cold sitting on a park bench. The woman was wearing shabby clothes and a torn bag. His face reflected despair.

Maya approaches the woman with a warm heart. "Hi, are you okay?"

The woman looked at Maya with eyes full of tears. "I'm in big trouble. I lost my job and my place of residence."

They immediately gathered around the woman, and Aryan asked, "How can we help you?"

The woman tells her story of how she lost her job due to the pandemic, and how she ended up losing her place of residence due to not being able to pay rent. He had no family to help him.

Dian felt sympathy. "We know how hard it is to live on the streets. We ourselves have experienced something similar."

Rizal calms the woman down with the beautiful melody of his serula. "We'll try to help you as best we can."

Irfan offers the water and food they have. "Please eat and drink first. We'll find a solution."

They sat down with the woman and planned their next move. They gathered some information about him, including emergency contacts who could be contacted. The woman felt grateful that they were all sincerely trying to help.

As the sun gets higher in the sky, they seek temporary shelter for the woman, and with the help of a non-profit organization that once helped them, they managed to find a safe and comfortable place for the woman.

The woman looked at them with tears in her eyes. "Thank you, all of you, for your kindness and help. I don't know how to repay it."

Maya smiled gently. "No need to reply, Mom. This is our way of paying for the good we once received."

The woman nodded with gratitude, and they felt warm in their hearts for helping someone in need.
