CHAPTER 97 - THE PRESENCE OF ROYAL GUESTS

A week passed, at Drake Fort.

In the main hall, the General deliberately gathered fourteen men who had once been troops in the kingdom of Nerogon who were banished together.

Dumor and Lizo are summoned from their respective castles to join them in Drake's fortress.

In the room they chatted, releasing longs and nostalgia as if releasing the bitterness of their past.

The general reminisced about the difficult times with them until they finally found Merlin and could succeed as he is today.

“ I never thought we could make it this far, all thanks to you..” The General's eyes sparkled looking at his fourteen comrades in arms.

“ All also thanks to the hard work you did General, em I mean LORD.” said Dumor.

“ No Dumor, all thanks to all of you.I am nothing if only alone..,hey but watch out for you if you call me LORD again here “ General clenched a small fist into the arm of Dumor who was nearby.

“ Dumor, specifically for us the call is still about the General, the title of King and LORD is not valid at this time.” Gardden laughingly embraced the General and shook his shoulder softly, the General was also swept away in laughter.

They embrace each other, drink together, laugh together and tell stories.

Not long after, the hall door was knocked from outside. A soldier opened the door and entered the hall after obtaining permission.

“ What's up? “ ask General.

“ Sir, there is a letter from the kingdom of North Harlbin, Harlbin Continent “ replied the soldier earlier.

“ Harlbin continent ?,hmm.Isn't it south of Gazu island? “ asks the General to his friends.

“ Yes, right, the kingdom famous for its naval fleet “ replied one of them.

" What I heard is they have a warship with great weapons" Dumor said.

" Hmm, the fleet.." The general muttered softly.

“ Alright, thank you.you can return “ orders of the General to the soldier.

The general received the letter and opened it. The contents of the letter are the agenda of a visit from the kingdom of Harlbin .

“ What are they visiting here for? “ asked Gardden while looking at his best friend's face.

“ I don't know, but it seems like a friendly visit, we will see later Gard. “ said the General while rolling back the royal letter sheet.

Nearly two weeks passed from the receipt of the letter. They will welcome the arrival of guests from the kingdom of Harlbin in the Eastern castle, because it is indeed the largest and most beautiful kingdom, suitable for receiving royal guests.

The reception of royal guests was held in luxury. The entire castle decoration is made as beautiful as possible.

An elegant maroon-colored beautiful tapestry had stretched along the entrance of the castle all the way to the main hall.

All the royal soldiers had lined up neatly on the side of the castle entrance.

Inside the main hall, there are deliberately provided many high chairs with red velvet around a luxurious and large oval wooden table.

The general and Merlin were sitting filling the two seats at the very end with authoritative royal attire.

The two seats on the opposite end are for the King and Queen of North Harlbin

On the left side, the royal court, the royal adviser, and some of the general's close friends were seated.

While the right side of the empty seats are for royal family guests.

Finally the guest from the Harlbin Continent, namely the Northern Harlbin royal family had arrived at the doorstep of the castle. They were escorted by the royal elite soldiers towards the main hall.

They consisted of the King of North Harlbin, the Queen, the two royal princesses, some of the top brass of the Northern Harlbin kingdom as well as the warriors behind him.

When the royal guests entered the main hall room, everyone in the room stood up to welcome their royal guests.

The general warmly welcomed the arrival of the royal family of North Harlbin. They finally sat down.

King Harlbin North introduced one by one the families he brought.

Queen Harlbin who is middle-aged but still looks graceful always shows her smile.

Then two daughters of the King, daughter of Eishel and daughter of Hanah who was only four years adrift, they were very young, beautiful and fresh.

Princess Eieyel with coiled blonde hair and blue eyes looks more glamorous than her sister princess Hanah.

Like a princess of the King, their appearance was extremely luxurious and charming. When they were teenagers, Eisyel's daughter soon became an adult. Eisyel's age is almost the same as Razel's.

Their conversation was very warm and friendly, the kingdom of North Harlbin had heard about the greatness of the General's gait as LORD on two continents, therefore they want to visit directly a very familiar figure even to the Harlbin Continent.

They want to establish cooperation between continents, also in alliance for political and economic interests.

After a long talk about the kingdom was finished in the talk, finally King Harlbin and the family were invited to enjoy the dishes that had been prepared.

The waiters were busy serving everyone in the room.

Royal guests will spend the night in the eastern castle for a few days, as their journey is quite far across the sea, so they need enough rest.

That night the guests were invited to occupy the main guest room for the King and Queen, and the second main guest room for the royal princesses. The rest is in the usual guest rooms.

A cold night crept coldly widened with its darkness…

Queen Harlbin and Merlin were having a warm conversation in the castle garden. They praised each other, Queen Harlbin was very impressed by Merlin's beauty, and the good looks of her children.

While King Harlbin conversed with the General in another room.

Shortly after, Hanah's daughter met them and called her father, because she did not find her sister Princess Eisyel in her room.

Finally King Harlbin asked the General for permission to look into his daughter's room.

“ Perhaps your daughter is in the castle garden with the Queens “ said the General.

“ Yes, maybe, well your Highness LORD, I'm sorry will be there “ said King Harlbin.

Finally the General returned to his room, Merlin and Queen Harlbin were still chatting in the castle garden.

The general was about to rest, he took off his robe as well as his top clothes. Until he was bare-chested.

When the General looked down and opened his belt, suddenly the gentle hand of a woman hugged him from behind, his body felt the curves of the woman behind him.

“ Merlin, when did you come, I did not hear the sound of the door opening.” said the General turned his head slightly as he reached for the fingers that hugged him.

“ Your Excellency LORD, I am not your wife.” the voice of a foreign girl is heard in his ear making the General gasp in shock.

Spontaneous General turned his head quickly and released the hug of the girl, not playing surprised General turned out that he saw the princess Eisyel who was standing in front of him.
