CHAPTER 34 - ZERON ATTACK

There stood three siege towers, climbing stairs, stone throwers, wooden fortress breakers and an army of thousands.

The general and all the inhabitants of the fort were shocked by the sudden arrival of the war troops.

“ Aren't Gozan's troops going to attack in one more month?!” Gardden represents the others asking the General.

“ Yes, if they keep their promises, they should attack one more month.

Take a clear look, which troops are from up ahead?! “ command the General who is preparing with a sword and arrow in his hand.

“ THE ZEROOON TEAM!!” the screams of the tower guards made everyone shocked.

“ Zeron?.why did they attack the fortress?” the question that came to mind of the entire fortress army included the General.

Merlin looked anxious and looked at the General from a distance. But the girl approached the general.

“ Sir, are they from Zeron?” merlin asked in a bit of panic.

“ Well, you take refuge first with the other women” the General holds Merlin's shoulder.

“ Sir, I will help you” pinta Merlin.

“ Don't! I don't want anything bad to happen to you again. Cover Merlin, please” General hastily passed towards the main gate.

“ Alright, Open Gate !!” the General's orders are ready with his black horse.

The general single-handedly rode his gallant black horse towards the enemy forces.

He asked the envoys from Zeron to negotiate, and at the same time questioned his reason for attacking Drake's fortress abruptly.

Envoy Zeron who also rode forward from his army, he put his horse towards the General.

“ I am the envoy of the Kingdom of Zeron, Captain Robin” Zeron's trademark with bear fur suits, animal dental necklaces and long hair in pigtails on the back plus a large tall body, a, make their look look creepy.

“ I'm Luzen. What are you guys suddenly attacking our fortress?!” ask the general firmly.

“ You?.you're General Luzen of Noregon?, aren't you said to have died?”

“ Are you talking to a corpse at the moment?” General replied.

“ Apparently your life is not easily eliminated by the General. But unfortunately we will seize your territory! “ response Captain Robin messenger Zeron earlier made the General furious.

“ Is King Zeroix in your airport?” The general hinted his face at Zeron's men.

“ Yes, there.he will witness the seizure of this region “ Captain Robin replied.

“ Alright, say my regards, tell him I will meet him when the time comes and this fortress will not be conquered, not even by a Zeron!” sahut General while holding the reins of his horse.

“ You are very confident General, do you think the number of your troops can keep up with Zeron's army?, you better wake up from your dream”

“ I've been waking up from my dreams since I came out of Noregon, Captain!”

The general drove his horse quickly back to the fortress, and devised a defensive strategy.

The soldiers in the fortress were ready with their clothes and weapons of war.

The general and several selected soldiers who will be in the front position later are ready with ‘ papan’ armor, made of metal plates connected by rope or steel rings.

Hundreds of archers were ready on all sides of the fort walls. There the army led by Denzu the archer, located between the gap of the fortress, hiding to archery the soldiers who are considered more dangerous.

Denzu and his members used bow arrows made from birch trees. This arrow can hit the enemy at a distance of two hundred meters. He was ordered by the general to target the thrower's controllers.

The sound of war trumpets signalling the start of the attack had sounded long from the direction of Zeron's forces.

In a wave of water hundreds of Zeron's troops advanced in unison toward the fortress. Throwers and staircases accompanied the troops to the fortress.

Zeron's army had been marching on the walls of the fortress, and they laid down the stairs on the side of the fortress.

Finally the General decided to drive the enemy from outside the fortress, and he ordered some troops to come with him.
