CHAPTER 38 - DROWNING

In the courtyard of the fortress, the General washed his face with water from a large cup, after the General wiped his face with a towel, in front of him stood a smiling Merlin. The general was somewhat shocked by Merlin's sudden presence.

“ Merlin?.what is it?.ah yes.., thanks for your help yesterday, you and Eldr were very helpful.”

“ Well, I'm glad to be useful sir. Ohya, do you want to go to the Castle with the others?” Asked Merlin who was carrying a rather large basket as well as a spear in his hand.

The girl was suddenly startled by the appearance of a man from underwater, her hair long black, her face white being bare-chested.

He was Denzu, the great archer who was under the river.

The man rubbed his hair from the top of his forehead back, and rubbed his face.

The man was also shocked by Merlin's scream. He didn't think there was anyone else but him.

Finally he reached for Merlin who had fainted.

The man swiftly carried her towards the river bank.

Harmmon, Dude and Lizo who were walking casually towards the river, when they saw Denzu carrying Merlin in his hand, they simultaneously ran towards Denzu who was still bare chest.

“ Miss Merlin!!..Hey, what happened to him?!” shouted Harmon who ran and saw the state of Merlin who was fainting.

The three men who had just arrived were panicked and afraid that something might happen to Merlin.

Denzu placed Merlin on the ground, panting heavily, Denzu tried to briefly explain that Merlin was drowning in the river.

Denzu immediately wanted to help him, He had just wanted to put his palms on Merlin's chest to press down on him. But Harlmon quickly brushed Denzu off.

“ Hey, what are you doing?” harmon asked sounding angry.

“ I want to help him.” Denzu looked at Harmon.

Harmmon turned his head towards Dude, his friend nodding as if allowing Denzu to help Merlin.

Eventually Harmon allows Denzu to press down on Merlin's chest.

Then, Denzu brought her mouth closer to Merlin's lips, she was just about to open Merlin's mouth, but Dude punched her head hard.

“ Adduuhh!!” shouts Denzu.

“ What the fuck are you?!” Dude said a little loudly too.

“ Hey, I just want to help him, he should be given a breath, this is what to do when someone drowns!” Denzu tried to explain to the man who protested.

“ Alright, you did it” Denzu invited Dude to give him an artificial breath to Merlin in a defiant tone.

“ But I don't know how to.” Dude looks confused.

“ You Are Stupid!” Lizo said as she looked at the plain-looking Dude's face not knowing what to do.

“ Do you know how?! the bottom of the mine hair?!” Dude retaliates against Lizo's taunts.

“ Quickly! He will die if not fast in please!!” denzu exclaimed rather furiously.

“ Well you did it, but beware that you messed around! ” threaten Dude to Denzu.

Denzu immediately squeezed Merlin's nose and gave him an artificial breath.

Not long after Merlin realized, he coughed and vomited water that had been swallowed by him.

“ Miss Merlin.you are already conscious.” The men look relieved after Merlin opened his eyes.

“ You guys?.would I drown?” Merlin looked around.

“ Yes miss, and she has helped you.” in a flat voice, Dude turned to Denzu.

“ Yes miss, she also kissed you” Harmon added.

“ Hah!!!, what did you say?!” Merlin immediately looked at Denzu with a shocked look.
