CHAPTER 37 - THE FALLEN KINGDOM

“ True my guess, you are the General who is rumored to have died. You are indeed a great General, I did not expect almost all my troops to fall down with your resistance, even the Captain who I always relied on, died in your hands” The heavy voice of King Zeroix was loud even a little raucous.

“ I do not accept King Zeroix's praise, what if we just finish this war, do you not want to follow your Captain?!”

“ How dare you say that to the King!!” a sword attack flew towards the General of a troop, but was quickly repelled casually by the General, then the General's sword quickly landed on the neck of the troop, and he was killed instantly.

The general stepped quickly towards King Zeroix and attacked him. The king who immediately got up from his seat quickly drew out his sword and tried to fight the General.

‘ Protect King!!’ The screams of some soldiers were heard from behind the General, but it seemed that Drake's army had taken care of it.

The general is protected by Drake's army, they surround King Zeroix's palanquin.

Most of Leon's forces were as strong as Zeron's, as were some of Zeron's shards who joined the General, dispelling enemies who tried to interfere with the fight between the General and King Zeroix.

The battle of King Zeroix and the General was quite tough, as King Zeroix was quite strong despite his aging condition.

Zeron is famous for his individual strength, including his King who is very strong in terms of physical and energy.

With the power of the General continuing to attack King Zeroix fiercely, a fierce slash almost reached the General's stomach but was quickly pushed aside by the General's sword.

Then the General slashed his sword towards King Zeroix's chest, and a long incision struck the king's chest.

Drake's entire army rejoiced, while Zeron's army was limp and didn't know what to do.

The war was finished with the victory of the General and his troops.

The general announces that Zeron's defeated army will not be taken prisoner, but that they must become Drake's fortress army and obey orders from Drake's generals and fortress officials.

After the war ended and the victory at Drake's fortress, now that Zeron's kingdom is no longer in the lead, all his soldiers have also been submissive under the command of the General.

In the kingdom of Zeron, the entire flag of Zeron was lowered, and replaced by the flag of Drake who fluttered gallantly above the top of the castle, also in some corners of the kingdom.

King Zeroix had no heir, as his wife died a few years ago before having children. So the general and his army took over the kingdom.

Finally it was decided the kingdom of Zeron was renamed ‘ Drake’ Castle, and the entire village and territory of Zeron was now controlled by Drake's fortress, under the leadership of General Luzen.

Gardden was commissioned by the general to be the leader at Drake Castle, accompanied by several troops taken from the fort.

“ But Luzen, I'd rather be in the castle and be with you as well as others than in that big castle but I'm lonely” Gardden complains of the General's decision.

“ Gardden, why are you like a child like this, the castle is already part of you as well.you are free to rule there.Isn't there many people who just want power?” General explained.

“ I don't need power. You better find Luzen instead, I disagree you put it there”Gardden is still stubborn.

“ But you are the person I trust the most Gard.being in charge of such a large territory I must give to the person I truly trust.” The general stays in his position.

What if we decide in the hall with the others, we take the most votes, I think it's fairer. This time the general could no longer refuse his friend's will.
