CHAPTER 42 - SEARCHING FOR A MAGIC BREAKER

Two days passed, Dumor and his army had not yet arrived at the fortress.

Merlin and Denzu wished they had arrived quickly so that the witch could be captured soon.

Near the storage room, Melin found Elya standing by the door.

Merlin stared cynically at the witch woman who turned out to be the cause of the problems Merlin faced.

Coincidentally there was no one there, Merlin approached the woman.

“ Hey witch!, why don't you just leave here?! I could have hurt you, because I was a Demon Eldr, but I didn't want to do it yet, but if you mess with the General, then don't blame me if you can't get out of this castle forever, because I could just kill you!” Merlin threatened with fangs on his teeth that came out slightly.

“ Ha..ha.ha.., Just try to threaten me little girl. Your general I've got control of. If you kill me, then lord Luzen will not be able to return to his original state, he will be affected by my magic until death picks him up.”

Merlin who heard that was immediately shocked then he strangled Elya and lifted his body away from the ground.

“ Merlin!!! What the fuck! Lower madam Elya!” from behind the General snapped at Merlin.

When Merlin turned to the familiar voice, he dropped Elya and looked at the general with a sharp look.

“ Sir, can't you be aware?!” merlin's voice began to weaken, he could not afford to be angry with the General.

The general just looked at Merlin.

“ Sir, I miss your old self.” Merlin ran over and hit the General's shoulder and left before the man.

The woman who was at the General's side arrogantly looked up her head and then fell on the corner of her lips.

Merlin felt tight, his chest felt in the squeeze and squeezed. He wanted to slap the woman and throw her out, but he was controlling the General, he didn't want anything with the General, and he couldn't kill her right now.

Finally Dumor and the troops from the castle came and immediately met Merlin and Denzu.

They had not met the General who went somewhere with the witch.

In the wheat barn, Merlin, Dumor and Denzu discussed. Outside some men were on guard.

“ Mr Dumor, are you affected by the magic circle?” Merlin innocently asked Dumor.

“ I was not affected miss, I am still conscious as usual” Dumor slightly smiled at Merlin..

“ Mr Denzu, does the magic circle have no effect on people coming from outside?” Merlin turned towards Denzu.

“ It seems not, because they were not there when the magic was read out, and they came after the already formed magic circle”

“ Good then” Merlin start relieved.

“ They are the man of a nobleman, I get info about two people who are usually paid to be spies or steal, they are from the Riguaria region.

They merely wanted our treasure” Dumor to begin his investigation.

“ So they are thieves?!” Denzu was furious.

“ I also had time to think there.” said Merlin.

“ Yes, and it is not easy to catch a witch. We should take care of her brother first, after that the witch woman” explained Dumor.

“ But how can you capture that witch lady Mr Dumor? Don't-don't when you catch him you can also get hit by his magic?” Merlin asked.

“ It is better to catch Miss Merlin or you are Denzu, who are not affected by magic, later I will help you” Dumor explained.

“ Alright, I alone caught it” Merlin looked excited.

“ But you have to arrest him without the knowledge of General Nona”, Dumor said.

“ Good, leave it to me”

“ Me and the castle troops will be on guard lest the General and others find out if the witch has been captured ” continued Dumor.

“ Then me and miss Merlin looking for a magic breaker?” Denzu seemed to have understood the continuation of his plan.

“ Right..”

So they prepare to plan the action.

When the night had spread, each had been in his room.

Merlin and some Eldr infiltrate Elya's room. But it turns out he wasn't in his room.

Merlin was confused where Elya went, not long after one Eldr told Merlin that Elya was heading to the General's room.

Merlin wasted no time, he rushed to the General's room, and sure enough the woman was about to reach the door of the General's room, at once Merlin darted with the blink of an eye and was behind Elya then grabbed his hair from behind while covering his mouth.

Elya, unable to shout, dragged away from the General's room, behind him Merlin clutched him with two horns and pointed fangs.

“ You're in my grasp” Merlin's voice turned eerie weight.

Elya continued to be dragged by his body with his mouth still on Merlin's back, they headed for a room near the stables.

Upon reaching the room, Merlin slammed Elya's body into a pile of straw.

“ I told you little boy, I will not fear you, and if you kill me, then mister Luzen will not be aware of his current code “ Elya still threatens Merlin.

“ Shut up you witch!!, I will burn you when lord Luzen has come to his senses. Get ready when the time comes, you will scream in pain, and there will be nothing left of your body except the ashes of the burnout” Merlin grinned with his pointed teeth.

Merlin walked out of the room and locked her away from the outside. The room was guarded by several Elders.

The man was put in a different room with his witch sister.

Merlin asks Dumor and Denzu for permission to go to the South Mountain to meet an old witch.

He would ask about the magic breaker and how to restore the influence of magic on the General.

Before leaving, Merlin concocted a potion to put the General to sleep for a long time, so that he would not ask about Elya and his brother who were now being held captive.

Merlin went with some Elders to the South Mountain.

In the afternoon, Merlin had returned to the fortress with information that magic breakers could be found in the forest near the kingdom of Nerogon, there was a healer who was also a former witch, they were asked to meet him.

Denzu and Merlin decided to go there on two horses. They also traveled that day.

They walked down the road to the kingdom of Nerogon. The evening began to creep, the dim-drenched clouds had been slightly dark in color.

“ Miss, it looks like we have to rest first, because a little more will dark” Denzu pull the reins of his horse to walk slowly.

“ Alright, but where can we rest?” Merlin looked around.

They stopped in a small town before entering the Nerogon region.

“ I will find a place to stay “ Denzu look around if there is lodging there.

“ I'm coming with you sir “ pinta Merlin.

Finally they found a simple house.

“ We want to order two rooms” pinta Denzu to the inn keeper.

“ Sorry sir, but all that remains is one room, even a rather small room“ replied the middle-aged man of the inn keeper.

“ Alright, we book that room only “ Denzu agrees.

“ Sir? Does that mean we're going to room? “ Merlin frowned as if to disagree.

“ Of course not miss, I will sleep outside, you sleep in that room “ Denzu explained with a smile.

“ But where will you sleep? “

“ I can sleep anywhere “ Denzu retrieves room key from inn keeper.

The night began to spread.

In front of the left room Merlin, a long wooden chair made a bed for Denzu, suddenly...

“ Aaaaa!!!”

A shout from inside Merlin's room made Denzu wake up and instantly opened the locked door of the room.

Miss!! What the hell is going on?! Open the door, miss!!" Denzu could not open that door.

" I can't!! " Answer answered from inside the room.

Then Denzu forced to break down the door.

BRAAK!..Pintupun open forcefully.

“ Miss!!! What's up?!” Denzu who had already broken the door due to her break, asked in panic.

“ Rat!!!! There's a rat under my bed!!” Merlin, who turned out to be a Demon Eldr, with large black wings, pointy teeth, stood on the mattress and docked to the wall, looked very frightened.

" Ha?... Geez, miss. I guess what's up.." Denzu let out a breath.

But not for long...

“ Ha..ha..ha..!!!! “

Denzu laughed until he held her stomach.

“ What's so funny sir? “ Merlin was a little annoyed by Denzu's laughter.

“ Miss, your appearance is much scarier than that rat, but you're still scared.it looks weird.” Denzu who is still accompanied by a thin laugh shook his head and looked down at the mattress.

Merlin's lips pursed slightly annoyed with Denzu's ridicule.

The man chased away the rat that was wiggling under Merlin's cot, finally the rat came out of the room.

“ Well, the mouse has been kicked out, then want to arrive when is it up there, miss? “ Denzu saw Merlin still standing on his bed.

“ Ah..yes, thank you sir.” Merlin finally changed as he was, he pulled his blanket and was about to get ready for bed.

But Denzu who was still standing even looked at Merlin.

“ Sir? What's up again? Why don't you come out? “

“ Ah, yes.iya, sorry miss, I will get out soon.oya, the door is broken, I will tell the innkeeper.

Denzu came out and closed the slightly broken door.
