CHAPTER 39 - DENZU

“ No!! No!.!.not so, I was just trying to help you.” Denzu looked panicked by moving her hand in front of Merlin.

“ Sorry miss, but it's not what you think” Denzu is trying to explain.

“ Well, you should rest miss, let us catch fish” Lizo take Merlin's basket.

“ Really?, thank you gentlemen.I should go back to fortress” first

“ Miss, I'm sorry to scare you, until you fall.” Denzu looked down slightly against Merlin.

“ Yes, it's okay.Thank you for helping me too.” replied Merlin briefly.

“ Hey, did you cause Miss Merlin to drown?” Harlmon clasped Denzu's shoulders.

“ Not like that, I ha-“…. Denzu tried to explain.

“ Already mister Harl, I'm fine.” merlin as if not want the problem to be long.

“ Hey, Denzu, you better accompany Miss Merlin back to the fortress” Dude looking at Denzu.

“ Ah..aku.” Denzu looked doubtful.

“ No!.no need, I walk alone.” Merlin hurriedly walked away from the others.

Merlin had drifted away and was almost invisible again.

The night started to rise.

In the fortress that looks a bit quiet, because the air is a little cold. From a distance the General's entourage has returned.

The atmosphere of the fortress turned quite crowded.

Those in the wooden houses, some came out to welcome the return of the General, not least Merlin, who hurried out of his room.

The general stood up and gave Merlin his seat, as there were only two seats in the room.

Merlin who was silent for a moment was hesitating. ‘ Why do I have to deal with this man again’ his inner self when I see Denzu.

“ Merlin?.how can you treat it?” The general looked at Merlin's confused face.

“ Aarrggh!” with his mouth clogged with cloth, and his face facing up, Denzu groaned withstanding the pain while holding the edge of the chair with a firm grip.

“ Denzu, I stay first. Merlin please take care of him yes.” The general came out with the man who had just arrived.

Merlin only saw the General coming out of the room. Now, just him and Denzu.

The man took his mouthplugs, it seemed like he no longer felt the pain like that.
