The Retaliation of the CEO's Wife and the Idol
CHAPTER 9: HEART-SHAPED WHITE ROSES

The beautiful brown-eyed woman walked over to one of the hospital's VVIP rooms where Iko was treated. The room was located at the very end of the third floor, right on the right side of the emergency staircase. Slowly Ega knocked on the door of the room and opened it as soon as the voice of a man in the room invited him to enter. As soon as the door opened, Ega found the figure of Iko sitting on top of the hospital bed with half of her body covered in a blanket. The look in their eyes met, and Iko's countenance looked a little surprised as soon as she realized who had come.

“Ega?” muttered. The woman walked over and placed the flower arrangement she ordered from Tasya on top of the cabinet, which was located right next to the hospital bed.

“How are you doing?” ask Ega briefly while observing Iko temple that still looks reddish.

“It looks like your help the other day was a little late,” concluded the man with a faint smile.

“At least I tried to prevent your entire scalp from burning,” always half-sniffled. The silent atmosphere instantly melted a little as soon as the two chuckled small.

“Do you eat?” ask the woman to Iko.

“Hm” replied the man while nodding. “What else do you bring for me besides those flowers?” ask Iko who is curious because in addition to the flower arrangement, Ega's hand is still carrying a black package. The woman immediately opened the package in her hand and showed it to Iko.

“Garlic bread?”  said Iko once found Ega who showed me a box of onion bread which is a bread that is very liked by Iko, as well as Ega.

“Eat. You must have not eaten this bread for a long time, ‘kan?” ask Ega to the man who received the package gladly.

“Since you got married and away from me, exactly.” The man looked at Ega seriously. Ega then sighed slowly as soon as he heard the words coming out of Iko's mouth.

“Have not said much, just eat the bread,” said Ega who then followed by the man. Slowly he bit the soft bread, and immediately his eyes rounded because of the savory taste and softness of the texture of onion bread was able to raise his mood to be happier.

“Company me eat,” said Iko while thrusting a box that still left some onion bread seeds in it.

“Spend it, I'm full,” said Ega while slowly pushing the box Iko thrust at him.

“Iko, please. I said I was full,” reject Ega on the man.

“This time your best friend asked. Please,” pinta Iko while still thrusting the piece of bread, so that Ega has no choice but to open his mouth to accept the bribe. Ega chewed it slowly, but there was a slight feeling of tightness back up in the woman's chest. There was one thing Ega wanted to ask the friend who had just bribed her about what she had said about Evan a few days ago, but Ega realized it would definitely make the atmosphere more murky. He does not want to involve others in his household affairs. The atmosphere of the VVIP room was quiet, there were only the two of them who were facing each other.

“You're still like you used to be, though,” said Iko as she grabbed a piece of tissue nearby and rubbed on the corner of Ega's lips slightly covered in cream that came from onion bread that she had fed a moment ago. Ega was stunned because instantly his memories with his friend repeated like de javu. Bread onion from Iko, the corner of the lip that was smudged, and Iko who cleaned with a piece of tissue. Everything is the same, just a different place and time. The two eyeballs met for a moment, then immediately Ega turned his gaze in any direction so as not to be carried away by the feeling he had drowned deep in the bottom of his heart.

“Spend the rest,” said Ega eliminating the awkwardness between the two. The man then went back to bite the remaining pieces of bread that were still in his hand.

“Thank you for coming. I've been waiting for your presence since yesterday,” said Iko while cleaning the remaining butter oil attached to his fingertips.

“I'm glad to see how you are. Next time be careful,” timpal woman it.

“I can't be careful if there isn't you, Ga. You know that, right?” Iko's words again made the woman snort.

“Iko, don't start again,”seloroh Ega was a little upset which instantly made Iko chuckle.

...***...

The time marker on the wall clock perched on the wall of the six-by-five-meter room shows seven o'clock at night. Ega, who had finished preparing dinner for her husband, was now preparing to wait for her husband to come home. Wrapped in a relaxed brown suit, the woman looked beautiful with a soft magnolia fragrance. Every now and then the woman sipped a cup of green tea that had been in her grasp. For some reason, his thoughts since meeting Tasya last afternoon really make him not calm. The white rose that the husband ordered to his friend began to raise his doubts about the man who had been living on one roof with him. His growing curiosity made the woman immediately unlock her smartphone screen and began to browse through Tasya's social media business account. He typed the name of the flower shop owned by his college friend, and in a matter of seconds the search results appeared with several choices. Ega deftly chooses an account that he believes belongs to his friend. He visited the account and his eyes began to examine hundreds of uploads of images of flower arrangements that were orders from Tasya clients. There was nothing suspicious about it, as Tasya always flagged the people who ordered her flower arrangements. In the marking, several times the name of the husband is linked to a photo of red flower arrangements as often given to him. There were several pictures of the huge heart-shaped white rose flower arrangement, but Ega was sure the flower arrangement was not her husband's order, as Tasya marked a different person's name. Except for one white rose of the same shape that was just uploaded about thirty minutes ago. He examined the photo and sure enough, Tasya marked Evan in the photo.

“Hiver-shaped white rose?”
