CHAPTER 31: I AM WEAK WHEN I AM NEAR YOU

Mr. Joseph was seen pacing back and forth with a smart phone that he attached to his earlobe. Sometimes he snorted annoyed because someone he was in contact with did not also answer the call.

“Where is he really?!” joseph growled while clenching his hands.

“Do we need to hire the services of a lawyer for him, Sir?” bargain with one of the staff members in the meeting room. Iko who had been observing the leader who returned emotions, could only sigh.

“Lawyer? Why hire a lawyer? Does he want to say that the figure in the video is not him? No way! The video was too obvious even if myopic eyes were looking at it, they would know that it was Aluna!” Mr. Joseph is getting emotional.

“I can't believe behind the girl's innocence it turns out she's so wild! And who is that the opposite? He's not an artist, is he? Aish, Aluna is really crazy!” the fat man went back to raving.

“The man ..” Iko replied but immediately stopped his speech as soon as he saw a shadow of Ega passing in front of the glass door of the meeting room.

“You recognize that man?” ask Mr. Joseph.

“Ah, uhm, no. I'm sorry Mr. Joseph I can't attend this meeting. Whatever the decision I will consider later,” said Iko as he rushed to leave the meeting room with half a run.

“Where are you going Iko?! Hey!!” mr. Joseph tried to stop the man, but failed. “Argh! The man is always by himself! If only he had no potential, I wouldn't have kept him!” racau Mr. Joseph vented his frustration.

While Iko seems to run down the aisle of The Stars agency office, hoping to find the figure of Ega he just saw. The man threw a glance in all directions, but nil. He didn't find Ega in any corner.

“Ega, where are you?” muttered while still walking out of the office area, until he found the Ega car that passed through the highway. Without a second thought Iko rushed to her car and swiftly the car she was driving also split the road, trying to chase after Ega who had been far enough with her. “Have you also watched the video?” murmured Iko lirih while still focusing on the existence of Ega's car which was several tens of meters in front of him. The man tailed behind until at last the car Ega was driving turned at a rooftop cafe where the woman used to spend her time. Iko rushes to wear a hat and mask to hide her identity, taking a seat a little away from the woman she had been following but can be sure the man can still see Ega from a distance. The woman looks ordinary, but Iko can really catch the emptiness in the look on her face. Not giving up just like that, the man tried hard to restore the smile of his beloved friend. Hurrying the man called one of the cafe employees and ordered a slice of cheese cake, adding a small note to give him.

“Please give it to a woman sitting there. Give this after I leave,” the man said as he left the cafe area. Inwardly, the man longed to be near Ega to comfort her, but he understood that she wanted to be alone at this time.

“Excuse me, Brother. Someone ordered this for you, enjoy it,” said the cafe waiter was friendly while handing over a piece of cheese cake complete with a small note. “Smile because you are strong,” the sound of the short message is equipped with a picture of a smiling face.

“The guy's gone, brother. He wears a mask and a blue hat,”. Finding the features, Ega immediately cast a glance to find his figure, but he could not find. The cafe waiter then left Ega after allowing him to enjoy the menu that was ready in front of him.

After enjoying all the menus he had ordered along with the cheese cake he received, the woman rushed to leave the cafe area, and, but he was again surprised by a street florist who came to him while handing him three red roses, complete with a piece of paper containing the exact same short message that he had received before. The woman breathed heavily. “Enough, yes.” He muttered as he hurried to drive his car back. He knew who he had to meet after receiving all the gifts. With heart Ega returned to driving his car, unraveling the traffic jam and darting a little away from the city center, towards the place where the giver was.

“Why are you following me?” sergeant Ega after opening the studio door was slightly upset, with three red rose stalks in his grasp.

“E ..., Ega.” Iko was a little excited because she did not expect Ega who she thought was wanting to enjoy her own time actually came to her. The man was stunned from his fall on the sofa and walked over.

“Why, Ko?” the woman repeated her question.

“I just want to see the beautiful smile on your face back, Ega.” Reveal it full of sincerity. The woman was silent and sighed.

“I understand very well how I am. You don't have to worry about me excessively like that,”-

“Please do not ever see the video that is circulating,” interrupted Iko later, which actually makes Ega's tears shed by itself. The woman was trying to hide her crying.

“Do not say that you have seen it, Ega,” said Iko while raising the face of Ega who was bowed so as to make the cry of the woman look more clear. Somehow Ega always, and always weak when in front of Iko, as loud as he was before. The man wiped away Ega's tears with gentleness.

“Do I look so pathetic, Ko?” the woman's cry broke again to make Iko immediately embrace it, trying to calm the tears to stop.
