The Retaliation of the CEO's Wife and the Idol
CHAPTER 5: THE SURPRISE

“Hunny? What are you doing here?” the woman asked as she rushed to a man who was standing at the end of the hall which was none other than Evan, her husband. Hearing the question, the hand of the man who had been hidden behind his back he showed with a large red rose in his hand. Finding that shocking thing, Ega's two eyeballs instantly glazed over.

“I just want to surprise my wife,” she concluded while handing over a beautiful array of red roses. Ega received the flower arrangement happily.

“Thank you, Hun. But you do not need to overdo it like this,” muttered Ega while giving a warm hug to her husband, but he was again surprised when Iko who had just come out of the dressing room was standing in the distance watching the couple was hugging tightly. As if to affirm to Iko that she loved her husband so much, the woman deliberately held the hug for longer.

“Tak usually you go home this afternoon, Hun,” Ega told her husband.

“You know yourself ‘kan if last night I was late until late. So today I deliberately went home early. I want to watch this concert,”, she said, which immediately made Ega look at her husband in astonishment.

“Did I not hear wrong? Usually you never want every time I offer the ticket,” said Ega.

“Hm, I don't know. Maybe because there was a guy last night trying to get close to my wife so that today and so on I feel that I should take care of you even better,” he said while smiling thinly and peeling Ega forehead just like that. Iko, who was still standing there, seemed to start to be unable to bear what she saw so she decided to immediately rush towards the backstage area preparing herself.

“Let's find a comfortable seat immediately. I have bought two VVIP tickets for us,” concluded Evan while issuing two concert tickets in the form of wristbands that read VVIP. Slowly the man put it on Ega's wrist, and vice versa. Ega then wrapped his arms around Evan's arms, walking in unison to the audience entrance on the VVIP path. The building was already crowded by the audience who wanted to see the best performance of his idols. Evan and Ega get a seat right in the front row, so it looks very clearly the appearance of all the stars without any obstruction. Several times they both greeted the first-class audience they knew, chatted a little and then refocused on the concert that had begun. One by one the idols who entered the best finalists of the agency gave a stunning appearance, until finally arrived when the champion duo who had been waiting for all the audience was called by the host to go to the stage.

“Alright before you give the best performance to fans, I want to ask something especially to Iko who created this song,” said the host. The friendly loud sound of the famous host is always able to liven up the atmosphere of the event so that it is not boring.

“If the audience can know, tell us a little about the song verse that is very meaningful and able to hypnotize the fans who are here,” pinta the host on Iko who has grasped the loudspeaker sign he is ready to answer the question.

“Did he know that now you are an idol that is valued by all fans in the country?” the host asked again. Instantly Iko directed her eyes at Ega, and Ega realized that. The woman's heart was pounding, worried that Iko would say something that made the husband's atmosphere uncomfortable.

“Maybe he knows, maybe not,” replied Iko who was immediately showered with boisterous applause and cheers of fans.

“If today someone were in front of you, and you were asked to choose between that person or Aluna, who would you choose?”the unexpected question that appeared instantly made Iko a little surprised, as well as Ega who still looked tense. The atmosphere of the building was silent for a moment as all fans put their ears ready to hear the answer that would come out of the mouth of the idol musician.  Evan, who seemed to be waiting for the answer, immediately wrapped his arms around Ega, putting his wife's head on his shoulders as if hinting that he was the winner of the hairstylist's heart. Watching that, Iko turned her face to look at Aluna who was standing next to her and waiting for eye contact with her.

“I will choose someone who always membersamai me,” concluded Iko while extending his hand to Aluna. The beautiful girl then welcomed the hand and held it tightly. Instantly the romantic moment was again greeted by boisterous applause and cheers from fans who were satisfied with Iko's sweet answer. The man looked back at Ega from the stage, but Ega turned his gaze away.

“Alright, without waiting any longer, we are witnessing the best performances of the most mismatched pair this year! Give a standing ovation to Aluna and Iko!” close the host who again invites the overall audience that fills the entire building. The idol duo started to prepare themselves. Iko's nimble fingers began to pluck the beautiful melodies of the opening of the song. Before long, Aluna's intoxicating melodious voice was able to hypnotize the entire fan until all the views centered on her. He looked at the beautiful girl from a distance. Her hairstyle, the costume she chose, to her body language, made Ega look at himself in the past, when he was twenty years old. “That girl is really trying to look like me in front of Iko,” Inner Ega.  The husband who had seemed calm watching the idol duo perform on stage, immediately turned his gaze to Ega.

“Do I have to look like him so you don't turn away from me?” whispered Evan half-jokingly in the ear of the wife, who suddenly made the woman surprised and turned to look at him.

“Hun, do not discuss it again,” replied Ega while elbowing her husband's arm slowly. Evan chuckles a little while refocusing his attention on the appearance of the two idols.
