The Retaliation of the CEO's Wife and the Idol
CHAPTER 25: HARD SLAP

“What do you mean by all this?!” the man snapped as soon as he got to his house and found his wife sitting down and enjoying a cup of green tea that was still warm. Finding her husband who came carrying anger, the brown-eyed woman smiled knots and then moved to him.

“I don't think you are that brave coming back to this house,” said the woman cynically.

“You!” snapped stuck. The man's breathing was panting with anger that had peaked.

“How can you take everything I've built with hard work at will! I worked hard from zero to build that company you know!!”  snapped the man in a high tone.

“Not just you but the five of us! The five of us who woke up founded Evan's company! The five of us who promise to always be honest in running the business but look at you! Intelligence makes you happy, feeling as if you are the only one working hard in the company until you feel everything is yours! Only yours!” refute Ega with the tone getting higher.

“I and papa sincerely helped the near-bankrupt company to stay on its feet. But look! Your own greed and selfishness that led you to destruction!”his anger held in anger. The two male eyeballs turned even more red as he felt that his pride had been trampled upon upon hearing the high tone coming out from the mouth of the woman before him, until finally the man slapped a hard slap on Ega's right cheek.

“How dare you speak in such a high tone to me! I'm still your husband, Ega!” he snapped while gripping Ega's cheek between his strong thumb and index finger. The woman grinned bitterly withstanding the pain radiating on the right side of her reddened cheek and the small tear at the corner of her lips due to the loud slap.

“You're still my husband? Then what are you gonna do? You want to finish me off right now, hm? Just do it, Evan! Do!” challenge the woman who immediately makes Evan more blood up until he pushes Ega's weak body and squeezes him towards the wall. The woman's heart beat shook violently because she felt fear, but as much as possible she looked strong.

“Even if my breath ends today, your life will not survive the destruction you made yourself, Evan! Surveillance cameras in front of the house have recorded your presence and maybe you are watching it now. If my body was found here after you left, then papa would have known who did it, the closest person who ended his own wife's life,” the woman said in a still choked voice. “And this hard slap, will be a proof of the violence you did to make it easier for me to part with a greedy man like you!” he concluded while displaying a cynical smile at the man who is still squeezing his body.

“Now all options are in your hands. Because all the choices you make will lead to vainness. You’d better run, Evan! Run!” his whisper in the man's ear, then chuckles small in the bitter that he is feeling. Evan let go of his grip, realizing that the woman he had always thought was easily deceived was not as weak as he thought. The man walked back a few steps and left Ega alone in the house. While Ega who was still holding the pain seemed to wipe the blood flowing at the corner of his lips. The pain he felt had made his tears dry, so he could not cry anymore. This time only hatred was left for the man who had betrayed him.

Ega grimaced in pain compressing his right cheek. Occasionally the woman hissed feeling pain that now turned into a blue bruise on her cheekbones. Not until the woman finished wiping her wound, her smartphone shook. Deftly the woman grabbed the smart phone that she put on the table and answered the call.

“Yes! True said! Screwed, Say! And everything's getting messed up because of you!” the man's chattering was from across, which made Ega instantly gasp.

“I? you mean?” ask Ega not understand.

“You have a silent relationship with Iko, huh? Everyone was talking about the news! Don't tell me you haven't seen it!” seloroh Nathan with a loud tone. Not until Ega gave an explanation, the phone connection was closed followed by a photo from Nathan showing the togetherness of Ega and Iko. The woman's brown eyes were wide-eyed because she remembered the photo was taken while Iko was about to kiss Ega in the makeup room some time ago. It turns out that all this time someone deliberately took pictures of them secretly, and Ega knew very well who did it.

“The j*l*ng girl apparently really wants to deal with me,” muttered Ega while occasionally hissing in pain.

“Iko?! surely everyone came back to highlight it this time!” immediately Ega opened various portals that uploaded the news and sure enough, all forms of blasphemy were directed back at the idol. Ega rushes to get his jacket and goes to meet Iko. The woman felt guilty because Iko had to get back involved in her domestic problems.

Ega's car drove far across the streets of the capital, and now he turns in the apartment area where Iko lives. The front page of the apartment was filled with several journalists who would definitely ask for clarification on the news circulating. Ega deftly turned his wheel, and he knew where to find Iko. The car then sped back a little away from the downtown crowd, heading for the music studio that he believed Iko must have been there. Sure enough, the woman found Iko's car parked there. Ega immediately entered the studio, and found Iko who was actually asleep as if nothing had happened to him. Ega walked slowly over to the man, but it seemed that Ega's steps sounded making the man gasp.

“How can you sleep under these circumstances, Ko? All the media are talking about the photos circulating!” said Ega astonished to find his best friend who had just realized from his slumber. The man initially smiled, but at once the smile turned to surprise as bruises on the cheeks and small tears at the corners of Ega's lips became increasingly visible as the woman walked closer.

“Ega!? What the hell happened to you?! Who would dare to do this?”
