The Retaliation of the CEO's Wife and the Idol

The Retaliation of the CEO's Wife and the Idol
CHAPTER 13: INSTRUCTIONS

The car that Ega was driving took a turn at a rooftop cafe which is quite famous in the capital. Her mind returned unsettled after Iko showed her husband's photo with a chain of heart-shaped white roses in hand. The woman's eyes were again glued to her smartphone screen and opened Iko's social media account to re-observe the photo that was shown to her some time ago. Niente. Iko did not upload the photo on her social media page. The beautiful fingers then returned to search, this time he opened an account Aluna, and sure enough. Aluna posted a photo of the holiday on her social media account. Ega deftly observed the photo upload, and he found the photo uploaded about three months ago, precisely when Evan and the entire ranks of La Lemonada shareholders held a business trip in Labuan Bajo. Jemari Ega nimbly changed to open a social media account owned by her husband, and her suspicions became more real. Right on the same date, the husband uploaded a photo of his togetherness with The Five Hunters, the founders of La Lemonada who were none other than his comrades in arms when building the business. The photo is only four because Ega entrusts completely to her husband and he chooses to focus on her hairstylist world. In the photo they sit around a table behind which many tables are arranged similarly and filled with the ranks of shareholders involved in the event. Evan sits in the exact same black suit as in the photo shown by Iko. In order after that there was Lukas, a man of Ambon blood with a sweet smile that was none other than the head of marketing. Next to Luke, Amora. A beautiful woman with a height of not less than one hundred and fifty-eight inches. He is the smallest of the five Five Hunters who now hold the chief financial officer's share. And sitting at the very edge is Nindy, the straight-haired perfectionist who currently serves as the vice president at La Lemonada. Ega again observed the four figures in the photo alternately. ‘Could it be Amora, or Nindy?’

“Ega? You here?” Call a man who knows his voice. The woman raised her head to the source of the voice before her, and at once her eyes were wide, finding the man in a black hat and jacket whose mouth was tightly covered with a mask, yet Ega could recognize him well just from his voice.

“Iko? You deliberately followed me here?” the woman asked slightly surprised to find Iko standing before her.

“No-no. I really don't know if you also come to this place,” concluded Iko straighten.

“Choose another seat before many people see you. Go awayl. From from. Here,” firmly Ega is trying to save Iko from the suspicious view of the cafe visitors sitting around her.

“I will go,” said Iko while choosing a seat that is quite far from Ega, but he can still see the woman from a distance.

...***...

From his seat, Iko can clearly see the figure of Ega who is in focus with his smartphone. Her beautiful face and beautiful way of sitting make Iko re-remember their togetherness in the past, which immediately makes Iko increasingly feel that he must always protect the woman he saw from that distance. That sense again prompted him to discover who the figure behind the account was named Little Princess. His thumb seemed agile to shift the screen of his phone, trying to find anything related to that name. One by one he opened a page with the same name, and he only found that most of the sites with that name contained a collection of fairy tales for children. Iko did not give up, until finally he found a page with the same name and photo as the Little Princess account marked in the rose post. Iko immediately opened it, and she found a beautiful collection of poems uploaded there. At first glance there is nothing suspicious from the collection of the poem, until Iko finally realized there are several numbers written randomly at the end of each row of beautiful rhymes. Iko reopened one verse after another with a different title and sure enough. The author of the verse always put some numbers randomly at each end of the beautiful writing.

Those beasts

Like you and me

Fierce, then fused

Isn't love like that?

Even in the stillness of the blue lake

Iko still did not understand the meaning of the rhyme and the sequence of numbers. Between sure and not, but the similarity of the name and profile photo on the page with the Little Princess account makes it sure that the two accounts are interconnected. The man tried to research the comments section of the post, which, however, he did not find a single comment that he hoped could be a clue for him to convince that the owner of the account was the same person as Little Princess. The man's head was getting tired, but his curiosity exceeded everything. He reopened another rhyme that had been uploaded a month earlier and found the random numbers again in the end.

Those beautiful eyeballs were staring intently

Like a raining arrow

Sometimes he turns, but the beautiful dance makes you not flinch

Am I not like that dancer?

Look me in the eye, sir.

Because I am forever yours.

Iko let out a long sigh while sipping Vietnamese iced coffee that almost lost its sweetness. All his thoughts were on those mysterious rhymes and numbers.  ‘What do all these numbers mean?’
